Excellent UPS Store. I actually had a bad experience that they helped make better. My wife and I purchased a new vehicle in NY over the phone and email. We had to sign the paperwork and send it back to the dealership so we utilized UPS 2-day air. We wanted to complete the paperwork so that we didnt have to wait in the dealership after a 12 hour drive. We used this service because the UPS site clearly stated that the service was guaranteed. I dropped the package off on a Saturday. UPS (not this store) missorted the package which resulted in the package not being delivered in time. This store filed for a refund for the guarantee with UPS. They denied the claim saying theyve suspended the guarantee for two day. Their main 2 day air site says nothing about this. You have to dig deeper on the UPS site to find this out. Despite this denial, this UPS Store refunded the difference between 2 day and ground. Excellent customer service. Thank you!

Owner is very conscientious and cares a lot about all customers. This location is open 30 min longer than the location in Mint Hill which is nice. However Im only leaving a 2 star because Ive dropped large packages off and only to get a call back hours later saying I need to come back and pickup the package because it is too large. Additionally when attempting to call their main number it goes to a voicemail that indicates the mailbox is FULL! I would only use this location unless it is a last resort.

Was charged $98 for a 9lb box because it wasnt a rectangle! Who makes up these rules?? I called back the same day I dropped it off and asked for it to be canceled for a refund. I was told it was already in transit and I cant get a refund. So I have to pay $98 just because it had already been loaded into a truck? If anyone has info on how to report this properly please let me know. Will never use them again

Sketchy operation here in my opinion. I dropped off two Amazon returns here, and after 3 weeks there had been no shipping updates. I called this location to inquire, and the lady that answered told me it just takes that long sometimes (I have never had a return stay in one place that long). When I offered to give her a tracking number just to check it, she said that the tracking number for Amazon returns (which this location gave me) is not a real tracking number. What?? Makes no sense.Anyways, after our call I called actual UPS Customer Service, who informed me that my packages never even left this location and would be considered lost after this amount of time with no updates. They helped me initiate my actual refund with Amazon.I understand it was a busy season with a lot of deliveries, but that isnt an excuse to unprofessionally dismiss inquires and provide misinformation. In the future I will be taking my business to other UPS locations in the area.

This is the second time I’ve used this store to return my rental text books for school. The manager or owner is not helpful at all and mostly has short patronizing remarks that aren’t helpful whatsoever. The employees are amazing and I was thankful when he sat back down and let someone else help me.

Service here is great and the staff is quick to help. With Amazons option to drop off at UPS I find this even better because its a quick drop off and Im out the door in seconds.Shipping is expensive here but I dont think its any better or worse than USPS (good luck) or any other shipping method. If you can find your own packaging materials and just need UPS to ship then you should be good to go. The price increases exponentially if you need them to pack and ship.

Clean store and friendly! They also offer printing and coping services. You can order engraved name plates etc. Also nice selection of greeting cards. They have everything you need to ship packages.

Dishonest and misleading. Had a very small package to send. She said she couldnt send it in an envelope because it was insured and it would need to be sent in a small box. I asked how much. She said less than $10. I said it was fine. She then prints out the shipping label and tells me its $36. I asked how it went from $10 to $36 and she said that was just for the box. Even though that is not what she said just a few seconds prior. Did not want to pay for it, but she said I agreed to the purchase and she already printed the label. It put me in a very uncomfortable position with other people standing behind me.I would avoid this place at all costs.

Incorrectly notarized documents by a nervous young lady, and then charged me again when I had to get them corrected and notarized by the store owner. They charged us for 8 pages when we only had 6 signed on both separate times and he gave us a laughable 10% “discount” when I complained this visit. The NC state maximum charge is $5/signature - looks like they’re getting around that by just overstating what they’re actually notarizing. Unscrupulous owner who acts dumb but is awfully quick to take your money. STAY AWAY.

I do not recommend this locations services. Use FedEx.Charged over $15 to: print 10 pages (20 cents each), scan a document to my email, and fax 3 pages. The individual helping me (the manager actually) at no point stopped to remind me, hey by the by, these 7 minutes of using our services are gonna cost you $2 per minute to. She claims the signage was sufficient. It was not.

Girl that helped me was friendly but I feel like I got mugged. Shipping estimate online was $14.70 + $5 for insurance using my own packaging. They ended up charging me $29 All they did was print the label for me, and tape my box. The receipt given to me is not detailed so I have no idea if they tacked on other charges. After reading the other reviews Im sure they added on a Affix the label to the box fee and probably Put one piece of tape on the box fee as well. I definitely will not be going there again.

Went in this UPS store yesterday to ship a package out to a friend in Los Angeles, CA. As soon as I walked in I got a friendly greeting and offer to help me with what I needed. I let the gentleman know I needed to ship a package to California. He was very accommodating pulled up information quickly got all the labels made and ready to ship all while carrying on a friendly conversation. I honestly didnt even feel like I was waiting for anything. I felt like I was just having a a friendly chat. Next thing i know he tells me to insert my card into reader and put my pin in.... Okay one sec - let me make sure I didnt get hit with some outstanding shipping charge for next day air by a jet plane. Nope, he defaulted the shipping to economy and was a more than fair price to ship a package to CA. Honesty, friendliness, and fair pricing. Thats the kind of business I will not only be a repeat customer of but also tell friends & family about. And of course leave a good Google review for!!

Everyone here was very nice. In and out quickly, and my four year old had been having a rotten week being sick. The lady helping us have him a key to a mailbox that was filled with candy and let him pick one. He thought it was magical and it might as well have been a pirate chest full of gold. Great touch.

I like going here because its conveinate & theyre very nice....but I dont like paying an extra fee for stamps......RIP OFFDoesnt cost you extra to sell stamps, kinda a crappy way to pad the cost.2 books @ $9.80 should be $19.60, I was charged $27.Ill go to the real post office kiosk from now on.

This jerk wanted to charge me $3 to stuff a box full of paper. He wanted to charge me to use a piece of tape to close a box. Also its $2.50 to use the computer for 5 minutes. My fault forNot looking. Go somewhere else even if its less convenient. Dont let this nickel dimer have your money.

I ran in here about 2 minutes before they closed with returns I needed to send off (getting married and had to make returns before leaving town). I was prepared to deal with someone who was annoyed at my coming in so close to closing but was instead met by a patient, polite and understanding employee Ally. She took the time to get everything packaged up, without making me feel bad for keeping her late. Need more employees like her!!

I went to this store to ship an Amazon return box with a prepaid label. My experience in the past is that they will tape up the box. Not any more. The guy behind the counter said it would cost $1 for a 13 inch piece of tape. I said no thanks and as I was leaving he said, Were in business to make money. $1 for a 10 cent piece of tape? What ever happened to the value added customer service? I know he post office wont tape a box, but FEDEX will and is less expensive in my experience.I called the UPS Store on Monroe Rd in Matthews and he said they do not charge for taping. I was told the UPS Stores are franchises.I will no longer be patronizing this UPS Store, but will drive a little extra to use the UPS Store on Monroe Rd. Also, I think I will use FEDEX when I have the option.Not providing a 10 cent piece of tape as a service to a customer will cost this franchise $$$$ of dollars in my lost business, and perhaps yours as well.

This is the worst ups store location!! Be glad they dont charge you for standing in the store!! Because you will be charged for literally everything else. The mail boxes are 100 more then other close stores. They will literally charge you far a 6 piece of tape.. you can ship your package for way less at a USPS or another ups location. Its in a horrible location in the center of a busy shopping center, tons of traffic never parking! Bring plenty of money if you go here you will pay dearly....stay away..

MB and his associates were extremely helpful and effecient. I am getting married the staff were patient with me and helped me through the process of printing programs, signs and placecards. They met all of my needs and went above and beyond any service I have received at other stores like this one. I am so happy that this store is near my house and would definitely recommend MB and his team for anything you need!

Will never use the UPS store again! After saying I would package what I needed myself (a few pieces of light clothing), the gentleman said he would package it for me. I thought it was a nice gesture until I realized he only was doing it so he could WAY overcharge me. It cost me more than $21 to ship something one state over (with ground shipping); the same order which I have sent from the US Postal Service for less than $6. Very dirty business.

I have been using the ups store for years with no issues until i came here... EVERY ups store will tape your box for free, except this one. When i mentioned he was the only store that charged to tape a box, he said youll have to ask the other stores why the dont charge.. Its called good customer service! Ill drive an extra couple miles to go to a ups store that actually cares about customers and doesnt look at them as a number or $.

I do not recommend this location. I have had a few unsettling experiences associated with this location, one of which involving two very valuable boxes being shipped to the same address, when only one of them was meant to end up there. It was extremely difficult to get them to correct this problem, but it was finally resolved after having to get my customer who received the boxes involved. The error was made by the manager but he never apologized and acted as if any attempt to correct his mistake was a personal favor.Very unprofessionally handled.I now go to a different location and discovered that it’s standard issue to print out a confirmation sheet for the customer to look over and check that all is correct and in order before paying and sending your packages off. The Sycamore Commons location Never gave me such a paper the whole time I used them! If they had I could have caught the managers mistake and averted the crisis and saved myself and my customers a ton of grief. I am now enjoying a more efficient and professional atmosphere at the other location, and have much less stress associated with shipping.

Absolutely horrible experience. Every time we go here there are issues.This place is purely focused on making money, nickle and diming, not at all focused on the customer. First, I thought it was just me, then I read other reviews on Google. And it clearly comes straight down from the top, the owner himself. Shipping back two boxes to Amazon, Mumukshu offered to let me use his computer. Pointing out that there’s a 2.50 fee for the first ten minutes, then he was going to charge me 2.50 per label to print them and affix them. So now, I’m approaching $10.00 to tape two pieces of paper to two boxes.I made comment that this was absurd and robbery. Then it got good... Mumukshu told me it was not robbery because they had their prices plainly posted. He then went on to tell me that he was in the business to make a profit, not for charity!My wife went here a few weeks ago to send back a package to Amazon, where we were told it would be three dollars to add a piece of tape to a box to seal the box. I asked him about this as well and he commented that the tape charge varies based on the amount of tape necessary. Either way to charge to put a $.10 piece of tape on the box is absurd.The owner is not in it for anything but the money and is condescending if you challenge the business practices. He talks arrogantly and snarky. Since this is a franchise his rules go at his location.There is a UPS store at South Park and one in Indian Trail, stay away from this one. I went in to mail a birthday present for a family member. I was going to just grab a box stuff it in there, and have them send it UPS. When I was looking at the boxes, the man behind the counter told me those were display only, and that they dont allow customers to package items themselves, that they have to do it. I used to work at a UPS in California, and never had to deal with that, but I figured it was a different state, maybe they have different policies. So I hand him my stuff, tell him where its going, and the date it needs to be there. He says hell send it ground to save me some money. I figured that since I had 5 days that would be plenty of time. So I get ready to pay, and he upcharged me on the box size, packing materials, and packing fee. $14 worth of packing fee to stick a gift in a box, with a couple peanuts. There was also a card and their house keys that I had forgotten to return. I made sure they were in the bag before I handed it to him. 10 days later, the box finally arrives, and the papers and keys are missing! They never even got put in the box. Very shady business dealings... Unless you have a prepay label and are just dropping of a package, I would NOT go to this location. Make sure you get a receipt!

Worst shipping experience weve ever had in many years of e-commerce transacting. My expensive scanner arrived in N.Y. totally destroyed because the box had been thrown around like trash despite many fragile labels all over it. We had to refund the buyer, after already overpaying this place to ship it.

My fiance went into the store tonight only be harassed the entire time by the male employee working. She pointed out the ring on her finger and he proceeded to tell her its ok because shes not married yet. This is not a jealously complaint or issue this is a complaint of pure harassment. No customer should feel uncomfortable at any point, especially being a female running errands at night.
