I am not saying this is a recurring thing at this establishment (the Party Works on Winchester) because it may not be, but based on my personal experience I will not be back. The staff seemed friendlier to certain customers. I walked in and recd not as much as a nod in my direction, however, when customers came in that were different they recd a warm welcome and were informed if they needed any help the staff was there for them. When i walked to a staff member to request help, her demeanor wasnt ugly, but it wasnt pleasant either. Your experience may be different and if it is, thats great.

Bought sum lights that were just taken out of the box and got them home an didnt work took them back the next day and the gentleman that assisted me was a pleasure to deal with ended up buying more expensive lights and he gave me a discount 🙂

I would definitely be back! My visit today was perfect! The staff was super friendly and more specifically, the staff member Calvin @ the Collierville location! He waited patiently for me to make my decisions on colors and was very helpful in helping me decide! Thanks Calvin! More businesses need peoplelike you!

They have what I needed. Nice staff and good prices

The store was too cluttered and there were no Covid precautions taken to protect the customers. The customers and the employees have to closely pass each other throughout the store. Aside from that I couldnt find what I needed or anything close to it.

A variety of balloons for little nothing

Please teach the salespeople to greet customers by getting out of their seats and say how can I help you instead of staying seated in the back of the store. Also when I asked for an item, the salesperson said over on the left. Not let me show you or on aisle left half way down. Poor customer service means I won’t go back. You just lost a valuable customer.

Party works looks like a small family owned business. Their prices are a little higher than Party City, but they do fill balloons rather you purchased them from them or not. Its like $1.34 per balloon. Im not sure if Party City does that or not but the Dollar Tree which is right across the street does not. They have a lot of products and cover almost every holiday and event that you can think of but just on a little smaller scale than Party City. Their location is what makes them very convenient and reasonable because the nearest Party City is over 5 miles away and there are plenty of other shops and restaurants around to be able to check some items off of your to do list.

I will most definitely be back again... they had everything I needed for my wifes birthday party.

I live around the corner from the store on Winchester Rd in Memphis, TN.I have visited the store on three occasions and I have to say today was my very last visit.Each visit i have been serviced by someone with the name tag that says Madea Regional Manager. Each time she was rude, had terrible customer service. The first visit i let it roll off thinking everyone can have a bad day. The second visit i was thinking, again? This lady is just rude for no reason. My order was placed and I waited for my balloons. Today was it. To stare at a customer and not say anything, then when I start to tell her my order, she says Im not ready. I said, ok, let me know when. Another worker made eye contact with me and I just shook my head. When she was ready I gave my order, the communication was just terrible and I really did my best not to be rude right back. She really needs to attend a customer service training. I will never go back there. I will travel to another location even though this location is right around the corner.

My husband and I were out last Saturday and bought ideas for a gender reveal party. My husband used his debit card. Decided to go with a different theme. Took items back WITH a receipt. Cashier refused to refund my money on my debit card which is the same account as my husbands! Now we will have to make a special trip back out this weekend to return items!! I will take my business elsewhere!!

We’re paying customers and they won’t let us use the restrooms. So we left.

I came in to buy things I needed for a party and I feel like i was discriminated by the owner Judy because she turned a senseless matter into a situation that led to me being highly upset and don’t want to ever shop there again. By her being the store manager that privately owns the store I feel like she did not handle the situation well AT ALL.... I asked for corporate number but they said it’s privately owned which I don’t believe but ok I see now they get away with discrimination..

Needed balloons for my daughters party

This is a great store to purchase your holiday and special occasion needs. When you walk in, the employees alwaysake you feel like fily.

Very unprofessional! Needs more workers. Its three ppl filling balloons but no one at the register. Not everyone needs balloons you know. Waited 25 mins with no acknowledgement at all. Ended up leaving.

Excellent customer service and apparently the only store in the area that will inflate helium balloons not bought in the store.

The store were completely out of happy birthday balloons in the large size. Smh and the selection on the inside was very limited for any occasion.

Its like a secret Oasis of party decor costumes lighting makeup plates food wardrobe whatever you can think of they have it sometimes it can be a bit pricey but its great to catch them after holidays and rack up on sales they truly have almost everything that you can think of

If I could give negative stars I would.I was at the Winchester location earlier this summer and left in utter disgust. When I requested to have a balloon blown up for my son’s birthday, I was told that I first had to pay, which I know is not standard policy but I obliged the nasty saleswoman bc it was for my son. Once at the register she patronized me and asked me how I’d be paying when I said by debit she insisted she needed to know what kind of card I was using. When I stared at her blankly not bc I didn’t understand but rather in disbelief bc the question was irrelevant, she told me just look it’s on the front of your card. I then walked out bc I refused to give her the time of day. If this is how you allow your employees to speak to customers, you’ll definitely go out of business.Customers go to the new store on Poplar. The employees are much friendlier and respectful.

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL .WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN!!!!!!.......I recently purchased balloons on August 14, 2016. I purchase 12 balloons with confetti to go in them and 4 weights to hold them down. On Sunday it was storming very badly in Memphis during the time. I took the balloons to my car and by the time I got in on the driver side and closed the door all of the balloons popped accept 3. Since I was in a rush and it was storming so bad I didnt go back into the store. I called the store on Winchester once I got to my destination to let them know what happen. The male employee inform me to just come back up there on Monday to get my money, because by the time I would have made back they would be close. I was told on Monday by another employee that the manager didnt want to refund me the money, but will give me a store credit. I also brought in the weights that I purchased with the strings still tied to them to show how they popped. I also left everything all over my car to prove they popped. I contact the manager on Tuesday morning being that I had not received a call and I left my number. I spoke with her and I feel like she had the nasty attitude and refuse to give me my money back for the balloons, but would for the weights. I feel like it is very unprofessional for me to not even leave from in front of the store and my balloons pop. If I would have knew it would be this big of an issue I would went back in the store that day. I honestly dont want a store credit that was offer, because I feel like if am going to be treat like that I will never purchase anything there again and will let my Job, family, and friends be aware of the poor customer service.

I wouldnt say staff was rude but they definitely werent nice either. Granted I dont know the exact science of balloons but I dont think they should have been deflated within 3 hours of having been filled.

I found lots of the colors I wanted. Prices are good. In and out. Easy parking.
