Came across this place looking fir something sweet. Love the fact that you can build your own cupcake, and that they serve Blue Bell ice cream. Had 2 healthy scoops with a waffle cone. The lemon cupcake was moist and it tasted like lemon without being over powering or subdued.The gentleman was friendly and the place is chill. Cupcake Cutie is a place to check out.

So freaking amazing and unique! I love it! Their shop and kitchen is clean and well organized. And there staff is nice and welcoming! They even have little fish to look at!Side note: they help proteome other local businesses and have board games AND have karaoke 🎤!!!!

This place is number one in my opinion. Not only are the cakes and frostings detectible and a pleasure for any palette, the staff, especially the owner Robert, will go above and beyond to meet and exceed any needs you have. Even at the last minute he helped me pull off an amazing 10th birthday for my daughter, and just 2 weeks before that, a spectacular cake for my other daughter who turned 11!!! I was in Memphis on vacay coming from the historic Lorraine Hotel and I stumbled upon this hidden gem. I order the butter cupcake with cream cheese icing and added walnuts with caramel and chocolate drizzle the cake was moist and delicious. I recommend this place for great cupcake with a twist.

These cupcakes are amazing! I love how you can customize everything. We visited from Kansas City this weekend and we loved our cupcakes for my husbands birthday. The cupcakes held up 7 hours later when we made it back to KC! I highly recommend this place!!!

Been shopping with this establishment since they were located in Barlett! The cupcakes never disappoints! They are always moist and delicious. But in addition to the cupcakes… I wanted to try the funnel cake. Overall it was good just a little doughy in the middle! Now the reason for the 3 stars is because my family and I walked in and while walking in there were atleast 15 rude teenagers just posted in front of the store saying all kinds of things teenagers shouldn’t be saying! They didn’t cause a problem physically to the store but I think the presence of these teenagers in this large number could stop other customers from going inside! Other than that…. Love the baking but whoever made that chicken salad just needs to stick to baking! It was dry and flavorless! I’ve had better chicken salads at “Karen’s house”! The board games was a nice touch! One love and thank you!

Came here because I was looking for something sweet, first time here I felt welcomed and everyone greeted me. The cashier Robert quickly introduced me to the cupcakes and also the flavoring and toppings. Although I didnt get any toppings he insisted to give me a lil pizaz which I thought was cute. Next time I will bring my daughter because the strawberry cake and icing was delicious!! The cupcake was soooo good that it barely made it down the street lol. Called to order cupcakes delivered for a birthday but no delivery available. However, I was able to get a virtual Gift Certificate emailed to me and that is even better because the recipient can choose her own cupcakes.

Me and the lady split a cup cake, one half lemon the other half butter cream. Coconut on the Lemon and Cinnamon Toast Crunch on the butter cream. It was delicious. We sat right outside at the park and enjoyed it all. I would have preferred the cereal crumbled but it was all very good.

This place is the best. I called 5 minutes after opening, and spoke with the owner, on my sons birthday to get 2 dozen cupcakes for his school birthday party because the ones I ordered fell through. Everyone was very friendly, we felt welcome as if we were coming into their home. I went the day after Valentine’s Day so the selection was a little limited which is understandable. The cupcakes were very moist and flavorful and I loved the fact that we could choose our own toppings. We have since been back twice, since then. Our favorites so far are strawberry, red velvet, and lemon. Can’t to wait to try their specialty flavors.

I have ordered 6 dozen cupcakes from Cupcake Cutie for my wedding this summer. We decided to go with them for cupcakes because of their bold fruit flavors. We are planning from long distance and were only in Memphis for a short time. Right before we toured our wedding venue and hotels, we happened to pass Cupcake Cutie while walking across Court Square Park. We didnt have a formal cake tasting arranged, so I cant speak to that. However, we purchased several of their cupcakes and loved them so much that we ordered the strawberry with strawberry icing, lemon with lemon icing, and peach cobbler cupcakes. The cake is moist and bursting with flavor and the cupcakes will be delivered to our venue. I will post another updated review after the wedding, but so far, so good!

We came from out of town, and this place was awesome. The owner(s) (I presume) was/were so friendly, and the gentleman who helped us went out of his way to try to have everything totally fresh for us. The cupcake is a great value for the price, and the ability to customize it to your liking is such a great idea. We’ll make it a point to come back to Memphis to come here again!

Probably the best cupcake place in town. They store their cakes individually and naked in containers instead of in an open glass case, so they taste very fresh. No hard cake or old frosting, and you get to choose the exact cake/frosting combo.I order a standard chocolate cupcake with chocolate frosting...its rich, dense, and the frosting is buttery homemade. You can also choose to add a topping for $0.50 extra, including gummy bears and pecans. They’re truly excellent. Take an extra for later to heat in the microwave for a few seconds...instant fresh-baked brownie.*The place also faces a beautiful courtyard, perfect for sitting out and enjoying the sunshine while you have your snack.

WEDDING CAKE REVIEWI am giving this bakery one star for a couple of different reasons. This establishment was recommended to me and after going in for a tasting, I was confident that they would bring my vision to life for my special day. I picked my flavors and the owner himself assured me he could make my wedding cake identical to the picture that I presented to him. After asking more than once he said “it won’t be a problem at all” and I held on to his word. I was quoted a price of right at $500 and I paid my deposit. Approximately three days before my wedding I called to pay the remaining balance and to give the address to the venue where the cake needed to be delivered. This is where it started going downhill. He told me that he had another event that day and if I or someone else could come and pick up my cake. I explained that everyone in my bridal party would be doing other things to ensure that my wedding perfect so I had no one. That’s when he told me he would see what he could do. Nevertheless, he delivered the cake but it was literally as my guests were walking in and the ceremony was about to start. Not to mention it did NOT look like the picture. The colors were off majorly and the beads were falling off before we even cut the cake. I was very disappointed and hurt because I didn’t receive the product that I asked and paid for. He never apologized or anything. For these reasons, I would not recommend this bakery!

Just had the best strawberry cupcake. For the price, it way exceeded my expectations, which is just delightful. The cupcake was super moist, it had just the right amount of icing, and Im pretty sure there were actual bits of strawberry in the cake. Love places who make good products and dont overcharge.

First impression is everything. The young man did not greet me and my wife when we walked in. My wife heard him cowardly make a comment under his breath (“I was wondering if y’all could talk”). For the sake of not being ignorant my wife did not react and she didn’t tell me until we left the store. Customer Tip: The customers are greeted first to feel welcomed for patronizing your business (STUPID). The establishment was dirty and dark. It doesn’t even smell like a bakery. Please sweep and mop. That would make a world of a difference. Never again, never again....
