There’s a first and last time for everything and this was my first and last time at this establishment!Purchased a LARGE CAPPUCCINO IN a 16oz cup but it wasn’t a 16oz cappuccino. It was about 8 oz of espresso and 6 oz of foam. The paper cup wasn’t even full! I tried to work it out with the local lackeys behind the counter but they insisted that it was a LARGE not their small, but they wouldn’t budge and were even snarky about it so I simply took a refund!There’s something I think younger people of today just don’t get…they’re not ENTITLED to business or a profit! They actually have to give something of value to get something of value in return!

Staff seems to think that its not necessary to treat customers like humans.

Delicious coffee and scones. The cafe is a bit eclectic with classic rock playing. Lots of local art displayed and for sale. Im a big fan of this kind of place. Plus the service was great. I would definitely recommend.

Great place for a coffee date. Superb coffee, excellent atmosphere. If their food is anything lime the Day Claire location, its a home-run as well (though I havent tried).Craft beer selection is on point too, if youre one to drink beer in cafés.

Liked the ambiance inside the cafe, very mystic types, parking here is tough,, had to go in circles before finding a spot, service is quick, ordered cappuccino and it came in an orange mug with lots of foam in it, also ordered veggie sandwich and the bread was really soft, was served very hot, which was nice on a cold day

Sandwiches are most excellent. I had the roast beef and my wife went with the turkey. Some of the best sandwiches ever. Just something about the perfect combination of toppings and sauce. I love that the bread is soft and doesnt hurt your mouth. I also had the chicken pot pie soup, which was very tasty. We make a point of stopping in every time we pass through. Worth the detour off the highway.

I like the fully customizable menu and comfortable vibe here. A friend recommended we stop here on our way through Wisconsin and Im glad I did- for the bread alone. Its so amazing

This place is worth going a little bit out of the way for. On a long road trip, my dad and I stopped here for dinner after a long day of driving. There were a lot of different, good options on the menu and all of them were totally affordable. The cafe feels super homey and cool, and a few minute walk over is a perfect view of the lake for when you’re done eating. The folks working were friendly and thoughtful. If I wasn’t on my way from Portland, OR to Boston, MA long-term, I’d love to come back and see some live music here on the weekend.

Acoustic cafe is a unique place, not your normal hamburger joint. Sandwiches include hoagies and pitas with different types of fillings. When I was working we would go there for lunch. Now that Im retired I miss going there as much as I used to

First time going in, was just going in for a coffee and had no idea where to start because they offer such a wonderful and extensive selection of coffees and flavorings. The employees behind the counter were EXTREMELY helpful and very nice. Their iced coffee is the best in town, along with their delicious scones. Prices were very fair, (same-ish as caribou and Starbucks, if not a little cheaper) but their coffee blew the others out of the water. Will definitely be going back to Acoustic Cafe! 😊

Unbelievably Rude behind counter. This was second and last time from her. Previous owner and staff were awesome. She complained they were out of bread and we shouldnt come in a half hour before close. There were more snide remarks this visit just like last time. Will not be back until she is gone. Go see for yourself!! Actually almost comical really. If you like that restaurant where they tease you during whole visit you might like it here. Only thing is she isnt joking. Just terrible rude. Still gave 3 stars because the subs are delicious.

Not a terrible place. Restroom for customers only. Looks like they have remodeling going on or are doing. Tiles were missing from the cieling in the restroom I used. More than a few tables were not wiped off. Not a big selection of sweeteners to choose from (could do with a simple syrup?). Music playing was A+

Excellent sandwich, friendly staff, reasonably priced. Staff cleaned dishes off the tables but did not wash the tables🤔. Rustic(ish) atmosphere, a variety of hand made rugs available to purchase for a very reasonable cost! Bathrooms are reasonably clean.

Always a favorite stop when I was in college. I was impressed to find its still just as good. The staff was even friendly to my kiddos, which being college kids I found very sweet. I will definitely be stopping every time Im back in Menomonie! Highly recommend their soups & subs!!

They make excellent soup. They have a variety of soups including California Medley, Wisconsin Cheese, Beer Cheese, Broccoli Cheese, and Chicken noodle. Oh, how I miss Acoustic Cafe. This was my hangout when I was at Stout a few years ago. The pitas are to die for. Same for sandwiches. Coffee drinks are amazing, too. Super cozy space for studying or hanging out on a cold winter night. What I wouldnt give to have one near me!

Hoagie and cup of soup, hits the spot everytime.

The atmosphere is laid back and cozy. My favorite decoration is the William Shakespeare bust with a fake mustache on top of the existing one. The vegetarian hoggies are delicious and very filling. Great coffee too!

I had their vegan chocolate cupcake, boy, it was very delicious! The staff was very polite and professional to my dad and I. I would love to order 2 dozen of their vegan chocolate cupcakes!!!

The staff are incredibly rude, and care more about making a quick buck than their own customers. I worked there for a brief time and I learned a lot of things. First, they use the same knife for ALL their sandwiches and dont clean it. If youre vegan, theyre cutting your sandwhich with a knife covered in mayo and meat juice. Second, they reuse napkins. If they clean up a tray with napkins that look clean or untouched, theyre gonna put em back to give to another customer.Overall they treated their own employees very badly. Especially students. I know this doesnt matter much to the customers so I can see why none of you would care, but I just thought Id put it out there. Incredibly abrasive and mean. Theyve made several employees cry and walk out because of their harshness.

Coffee and food is good. I shouldnt have to pay 50 cents for a refill on regular coffee. Staff could smile a little bit.

We went here based on the reviews as we were traveling by on I-94. It was worth the jaunt off the interstate. We stopped in the morning and though they have delicious home-made baked goods, there are no breakfast foods. But as the server said, Hoagies are good any time of the day! And indeed they were good. The Maple Latte was delicious, really. We ordered 2 Lattes, a hoagie, muffin, whole order of nachos and chocolate chip banana bread. Total was only $23! Portions were great, food was wonderful, coffee -as it should be, and service was fun and quick. Thanks Acoustic Cafe! (Its close to a five but were picky and the awesome plants in the window need some serious dusting.)

I did not think it possible to screw up a wrap. I asked for ham and extra double cheese plus veggies. When it came warm that was my first surprise as I wasnt given a choice. My first bite was the taste of bean sprouts & spicy, to a fault, Italian oil. I actually opened it to see if there was ham or cheese in it. I wish I would have taken a picture because the cheese was barely there. The guys working either just had as bad night or they could use a couple training classes on ratio taste. Too much oil, barely any cheese and sadly my mouth was left with such a stringy taste I coughed. Sorry guys.

Great spot for Thursday night date-night! My wife and i both had the pita + hummus sandwich - delicious! They were packed with sprouts, lettuce, tomato, onion, hummus, guac and their own special sauce. Very satisfying sandwich! Great atmosphere!

A favorite place to get a quick sandwich and soup for lunch if we are in town. Love the hoagies and pitas. And a good beer with it. Just finished a pita with salami, months after the first part of this review and everything is just as yummy as ever. Weve been enjoying the hoagies and pitas for as long as the Acoustic has been here, and hope to for years to come.
