Best coffee shop in the Chippewa valley I could write a book about this place. Kombucha, on tape. Beer, on tap. They roast their own beans and they have a large selection of house made desserts and baked goods. I always get a bagel sandwich. They have the healthiest stuff like juices and smoothies and vegatarian / vegan ice cream. My favorite coffee shop Ive ever been to, a true destination. I wish I had more pictures the inside is huge and awesome with high ceilings and a balcony.

This cute farmers market was going on while we were there. The drinks were good and the atmosphere was great. It has plenty of food options: vegan, gluten free, all natural. My inner hipster was right at home.

I love having a vegan place, especially that has raw options, to stop at on my way from the Twin Cities to back home in Wisconsin. Ive never had something I didnt like and the atmosphere is excellent :)

Great space!!! I would definitely suggest for studying or meeting with groups. The decor is on point with the organic coffeehouse vibe they are trying to portray. The only reason for the 3 stars is the lack or variety in food, there are “organic” options but all that are loaded with chocolate. Their banana bread should be called a chocolate loaf with banana. I was really hoping for some healthy options when I had looked this place up originally. Also it is a little pricey for what is actually is what is a large coffee shop. Coffee was good but not the best I’ve had.

Overpriced vegan vegetarian stuff that looks better than it tastes. That being said, it doesnt taste too bad, the atmosphere is light and relaxed, they sell beer from local breweries, and they sometimes have live music. All in all, I recommend this place if youre looking for a good cup of coffee and a calm relaxing environment.

Great experience! We stopped by on our way through town. We told them what kind of coffee and other drinks we usually like. They wiped together a different custom drink for each of us that was fantastic!

First time here. Not really sure what to think. When I walked in I thought the place looked amazing and inviting. I was looking at the menu and quickly realized everything is very expensive. A 12 oz juice is about $6. I was happy to pay this price but extremely shocked by the price of the treats on the counter. I got what I hope is a vegan rice crispy treat since the girl at the counter said she thinks it is and that it would be marked if it wasnt. I thought everything in this place was supposed to be vegan, but when I looked at the candy they had for sale a bunch of it was not. This is honestly upsetting to me because I really would expect a place like this to be vegan. I wish my juice was a 16 oz for the price but I understand produces expensive. Not sure I will be back often but I would like to bring my husband for some beer and maybe an ice cream.

Stopped for a quick beer but stayed for a few. Nice place with a big selection of drinks and food. My wife had coffee and a muffin, she thought it was quite good. I tried a few beers and they were all delicious. It was nice to have a variety to pick from that isnt the same old tap stuff.

Best coffee in town - fresh roasted in house, and the beans they sell by the half pound are great for using at home. Lots of gluten free/vegan/dairy free options, along with craft brews and kombucha too. Get a rewards card if you like their coffee, not too hard to build up to a free drink.

This is a really cool coffee shop with juice bar, wine and beer, the espresso drinks are good. There is a vegan Deli and lots of space for lounging. Its a great place to have an event or watch local live music. Indoor farmers market in the winter. Recommend.

They have the most delicious cold brew and coffee beans! The relaxed atmosphere of the establishment makes it a wonderful place to meet friends! They have an excellent selection of raw, vegan and organic treats as well but I mainly go there for the cold brew refills and coffee beans! In the winter months they hold a farmers market inside on Saturday mornings.

The Raw Deal is one of the best places you can go for coffee, music, and atmosphere. Great for meeting up, hanging out, or getting work done. It is the most “menomonie” place I know of, so if you’re looking for something unique in town, Raw Deal is your place.

In town for a meditation retreat and wanted to find a healthy spot to recharge. Was amazed to find out that they had smoothies, juices, AND even wheatgrass shots. Excellent product and awesome prices. Will def be stopping here again before I leave town 🙏🌱🤙

Great roasted coffee, assorted hot beverages, and overall cozy place. My wife and I actually got married here. Its a great venue for events, unwinding, or hanging out. They have kombucha on tap now (along with great beers).

Olivia at the raw deal helped to make our event, my sisters bridal shower, absolutely perfect! Her attention to detail and willingness to assist with whatever we needed made the day stress free. The loft space was a perfect venue and the muffins were AMAZING! I would highly recommend The Raw Deal for any special event.

This is my favorite place to go to do homework!! Theres plenty of spots to sit where you would feel rather excluded from other people. They play light upbeat music that is perfect to study to. I enjoy getting a white chocolate sconnie when I go. My favorite thing about Raw Deal is that they are big on composting and recycling. Thats my biggest issue with a lot of restaurants and coffee shops is how much is thrown in the garbage. Employees are amazing!!

Very nice locally owned spot. Spectacular coffee, tea, wine, and in-house made beer. Note that this is ALL raw food - so if raw food is your thing you will probably love it. If it is not, you may just want to drink - but its great for that as well.

Wonderful staff, amazing food and the most welcoming atmosphere. I come to study all the time drinking my fill of the finest coffee to keep me awake. The noise level is always kept down but you arent discouraged from chatting and unwinding either.

If you desire fresh roasted organic coffee, real creamer (not fake stuff in the little packets), real food made from real ingredients - then this place is for you. They even brew their own beer with local ingredients. This place is huge, too, so you dont feel like you have somebody listening to your conversations...plenty of room to hang out! Free pool table, fresh juice and smoothie bar, great diverse event calendar and a great family of owners top it all off. My family of 8 are frequent guests, my kids love it, too!

Easily by far my favorite place to go to in Menomonie! The workers are all incredibly polite, easy going, and very approachable! The bottom less coffee is quite the deal if planning on spending a few hours there!

I wanted to love this place, truly- I am a vegetarian, however there is a lot of room for improvement. I wanted to eat and have a glass of rose after seeing it on their Instagram story. Since the sandwiches were not made order, I looked through the sandwiches and found one that looked good, however all of the other selections with avocado were all brown so I got one without avocado. Since the sandwich was made on a bagel and it was cold, it was very tough and difficult to eat on top of having several thick slices of hard raw beets on it. Also, had I not asked for rose I would have never known they had it because it wasnt on any menu. I suggest having the food made to order and more bread options! It would be so awesome then! For 14$ though, I was hoping for a bit more enjoyment.

This is arguably the best coffee shop in town. They feature a wide range of coffees as well as freshly made juices, locally crafted beers, and a selection of vegan food. I always order coffee and have been pleased each time, returning multiple times a week. Service can be a bit slow depending if there is a line or the time of day, but this is not supposed to be your rushed service Caribou or Starbucks.The atmosphere in The Raw Deal is great, wide open and spacious with plenty of seating options to sit down with a group of friends or to work on your laptop on a table. They also have bookcases where you can take and borrow books as long as you return your book or bring in one of your own to add to the collection. They also periodically feature live music.

Great Coffee! They roast fair-trade beans fresh right there in the front window of the shop. Probably up there in the best drip coffee I have ever had. They sell their beans in the shop and at co-ops in Menomonie & Eau Claire. Really good cold-press too, my wife and I always keep some of their concentrate on-hand.

I have been to coffee houses all over the world. Seriously hundreds - Germany, Finland, Croatia, Italy, Sweden, Costa Rica, etc. The Raw Deal stacks up nicely. The staff is impeccably friendly and helpful, the ambiance is unparalleled in its uniqueness, the coffee is quite good and they serve superb beer.You can get to the Raw Deal in the morning and start with coffee. Then when Jay Collins or Chris Freeman comes, you can always switch over to locally crafted beer. Just remember to drink some water once in a while.Honestly, I always felt more at home there than I ever did in my work environment at Stout. Hail and praise to the Raw Deal.

Coffee Incredible. The menu has So many choices and I think I found my place.. Tell me who has 4 different flavors of Kombucha on tap with the fantastic flavor combos this place does? Hungry?? No problem these magicians will whip it up for you. Seating is plentiful. They have a balcony with seating also a bar and other chairs and tables thats incredible as well.. I seriously could go on forever About this Place. They are doing something Right Obviously.
