They do great work at an honest price. If something doesnt need fixed, theyll tell you. They inspected two potential used cars for my daughter for free and gave great specific feedback on both. Ive even recommended them to my mom... theyre that good.

Would never come here if I didnt know exactly what needed done. The man at the front desk took my car in to find out why the power steering doesnt work. 15 minutes later he comes out and says the entire steering assembly will need replaced, totaling up to $2,000. I brought it home and tried the very first step you should take, checking the connectors. Literally unplugging it and reconnecting them saved me two grand and it is still working a week later. The technician didnt even try.

Like all of the other reviews on here, I must say that these guys are top notch all the way around. So glad to have a mechanic that I can trust. Eric and Shane are straight shooters, who get to the point, while being fair and reasonable.

They are a very reliable garage and also very honest place. Their prices are reasonable and they do not do more work than needed so they can jack up the price of your bill. I have recommended them to many of my friends and relatives and they have become regular customers.

My wife and I were on a cross-country road trip last week and had our A/C give out 5 hours in. We stopped by and one of their staff came out to take a look under the hood and let us know what was wrong. He did it on the fly and didn’t make us wait. He gave us an estimate right there of what a fair price for parts/labor would be to fix it if we didn’t have time to stop. He would not accept payment for the advice. We were so grateful to him for his help. I would not hesitate to go back there if we ever have car trouble in Mentor, OH again. Thank you!

I realize Giles has a couple great reviews, which is what brought me here in the first place being new to the area. But I am just going to share my experience so when this happens to you, you are not as livid as I am.I took my car in on a Tuesday because my check engine light came on and need to get my emission test soon. Ran the codes and all they did was change my oil. I thought that was weird but Im not the car expert here so I left and 10 miles down the road my check engine light came back on. So on Wednesday I came back in and he then thought it was a good idea to actually fix what the code told him in the first place. Left the shop and a few miles down the road my engine light came on AGAIN. I called, they didnt answer and had to leave a voicemail. Youd think they would call me back since Ive brought my car in twice to get fixed but they didnt call me back so I called again later that day and they said they couldnt get me in til the next Monday. Seriously? This was suppose to get fixed Tuesday and now you cant even see me for the third time til Monday?I take my car to get fixed elsewhere on Friday and spent more money but they actually fixed it. Weird. I called Giles afterwards after I got it fixed to say I think its completely unfair you just kept taking my money and didnt fix the problem or even return my phone call to get me back on the schedule. They didnt care at all. Which I cant say Im not surprised, they already got my money.

Just got a timing belt package done on my 2008 ridgeline.Belt, pulleys, water pump, serpentine, etcShane and Eric were awesome. Done on time and was the lowest price compared to two other places (one was Honda...Big surprise).Talked to Shane afterwards and asked if there was anything else I needed, fully expecting the Conrads run around... Oh this and this and this... Instead he was honest and said that everything right now considering my miles was fine.I will be back for anything I cant do myself.
