I was looking for a car online and came across Mentor Nissan in Ohio. I am from NY, and i got the pleasure of speaking with Chad Trent. He was very kind, pleasant and helpful in my purchase totally over the phone. He kept up on communication with me every day and updated me! Very friendly service and overall a great guy. After about a week my car was delivered to me from Ohio to NY. Only ‘negative’ thing i can say is that the deep paint scratch was not seen in the pictures on their website. This is the only visible scratch I found. I was disappointed but overall the car is very brand new and looks amazing. Im in love. I just wish that they had told me about this. Overall very satisfied.

From the beginning of my interaction online with Michelle S. was amazing. Michelle’s quick response time by email and dedication to provide me with as much information as possible regarding trade and vehicle I was interested in was great.The moment I stepped into the showroom I could feel the sense of friendliness and family. I was greeted with smiles and treated with respect from everyone. There was no pressure from Andrew V. He answered all my questions regarding the vehicles that I took out for a test drive.Went over vehicle and answered all questions regarding cost. The finance manager Gil, explained the deal again, we signed documents and I was done. The whole process with test drives took about 2.5 hours. I was really impressed as I’ve never been out of a dealership that fast. And the follow up email after purchase was greatly appreciated. If I decide to lease or buy a Nissan again, I will most definitely come back to Mentor Nissan.

Tammy is amazing! I called the service department from across the street where I was doing a flu clinic and she was willing to walk over and take my car for the very first oil/filter change and tire rotation. When clinic was over I walked over and picked up my car - so easy and convenient! I couldnt ask for a better service department and staff. Thank you Mentor Nissan!

It is amazing to me how we were convinced to buy an extended warranty where where our granddaughter could take the car to any dealership and pay a $100. How amazing is it that the extended warranty has not covered a doggone thing so far. Salesman was very helpful. Service guys knowledgeable and helpful.

The car I was interested in was not available on the lot, but Mentor Nissan tracked one down for me at a dealership 200 miles away. The whole experience of buying a car, which I usually dread, was made very easy by all of the personnel there. My salesman Ken Dezman even pointed out ways I could save money on the deal. He was also helpful in teaching me how to use the features of the car, and continues to support me as I transition to this new vehicle.

I got my last two cars from here! Even with years between them, I was v happy to return to see all the same faces. The sign of a good business.Adam Gaydos got me in the car I really wanted, which I didn’t think was achievable this time around but he made it happen yet again. The sales team, finance dept. and service team is kind and compassionate, I was presented with many options, and I never felt pressured. On April 11, 2021 I spoke with Gil Vignero to my GAP insurance & sent him all requested information by email. I called and emailed him several times to confirm receipt. Absolutely NO RESPONSE FROM HIM. I went to the dealership in July to follow up and gave the same information again to another manager. Here it is September, I called again inquiring about my GAP refund and got the run around that I needed to talk to Gil. I left several messages for Gil and for a Brian Moorefield and STILL NO RETURN CALL! It should not be this difficult to get my GAP refunded and to expect professional courtesy.

Thank you to Jarrod and his team for the work they did most recently on my 2019 Rogue. They did a great job of communicating the repair work needed, and just as importantly, the repair work NOT needed at this time. What that tells me is that they demonstrate an understanding of customer cost concerns as well as repair shop revenue. Another big value is I met the tech - Bob - who noticed a sound coming from my car that wasnt part of the repair request. The tech knew it was a safety concern, and reviewed with service repair leadership so the brakes were taken apart to fix the problem. You cant buy that kind of care - it come from the quality of the people on the team. Thank you to Jarrod, Bob, Rick, Sam (sp?) who made sure the work was done correctly, efficiently, and with all concerns for the safety of my driving experience. I drive kids somewhere every day; its great to know the team working on my car understands my concerns to do so safely.

When I came to Mentor Nissan browsing for a vehicle, Andrew Chinchar came out to greet me and show me around. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable of the vehicles he was showing me. We talked about my options and he was very patient with me and didn’t make me feel pressured about anything. I went home to think about my decision and Andrew was only a text away if I had any questions. He responded promptly when I contacted him. Then I returned the next day to make my purchase. Everything went quick and smooth. The manager Danny is friendly and loaded my 3 year old up with snacks to keep him occupied lol Then I met with Brian in the finance dept to do the paperwork. So I decided to give this dealership a chance when I seen a coupon for a synthetic oil change and tire rotation. Scheduled for Saturday at the beginning of the week. They had all week to accommodate me.When I arrived I was told that they would have to get my oil filter from an outside source and would try to keep the cost as close to the coupon as possible. I feel like the time to tell me this is when I set the appointment, not when I arrived. It was $15 more then the coupon.The more I thought about it the more I really feel like this is false advertising. Gave them 2 stars because they were nice and professional. But really feeling like I was hoodwinked. Probably will not go back.

Lets start with the bad... Im extremely disappointed that a $59.00 battery cable that is extremely corroded is not covered with my warranty or my SILVER extended warranty which is not cheap. If Nissan has a corrosion problem then perhaps they should use better quality materials or perhaps a reliable battery box ! That cable may or may not cause me not to purchase another Nissan. For the good news... There service department was fantastic ! Very friendly and did their best to please me, the customer even though I was not happy about the battery cable, which I would not pay to have them install it. The service department cares even though there warranties stink !

Our Murano is apparently designed such that a rodent can cause $2100 damage even though the vehicle has less than 5500 miles. Nissan refused to cover the damage and suggested we go to our insurance company. I needed to call you folks back to get a picture of the damage since you did not take one or offer to help us at all in this matter. It was our problem and Nissan washed their hands of it. I had requested the parts when I was told what the damage was but never received them. Not good service for a new vehicle.

It was excellent. Sammi Zeitz my service advisor who I dealt with when I arrived was extremely helpful and explained everything in detail. I needed an additional key fob made and it was waiting when I picked the car up. I also had a recall on my 2021 Sentra and she told me it would take some time to get the parts and explained the process. She is very professional and pleasant to deal with.

I drove to Mentor Nissan from Detroit. They had a wide selection of good Certified Pre-Owned vehicles and they had what I was looking for [2017/2018 Murano]. Andrew Chinchar was my salesman. He did an excellent job of contacting me, answering my questions, and setting up a test drive of the vehicles I wanted to see (it also helped that he sold a car the week before to a fellow Michigander). I bought the 2017 Murano. After taking delivery, issues with the bumper and computer system developed. I contacted Andrew and he and Brian (the sales manager I presume) took care of the issue within a day. Its been bliss ever since. I would certainly drive a 100 miles to buy another car from Mentor Nissan. They have good cars and good people working for them.

Brought my Maxima in for an oil change to Mentor Nissan and waited. Rick at the service desk was very friendly. The service department was speedy and lots of employees on the floor greeted me or came by the waiting area to say hello or chat. The waiting area is very spacious and hospitable with self serve hot chocolate, coffee and individually packaged snacks. Very clean. We love Mentor Nissan!

Few weeks ago I was a little confused on where to go find a SUV. I went to a few other car dealerships and I still couldnt see and feel comfortable. So I start to Google nissan and EVERYTIME Nissan of mentor kept popping up no matter how much I try to delete and ignore it and look for another dealership it keep popping up in my search so me and sis decided to take a drive out to mentor and see what they have to offer. Man O man from the moment we were pulling up I look at my sis and said this is the place this is it. We walk in and their customer service was AMAZING, they welcome us, talk to us like they knew us forever, and make us feel like family. Danny has such great personality he introduced me/us to Andrew he was so calm, Humble was not forcing us to purchase anything he said he wanted to make us happy and that he is here for us. He let us test drive a few vehicles and he sat down showed us the carfax on any vehicle we ask about. Andrew, no mater how long it took me to make a decision I honestly appreciate your time, effort and patience. While I love my Nissan and generally have no issues with the service department there, I was very disappointed in my visit. I went in for an oil change and what is entailed with that. I pay for it in my lease monthly payments. When I got my car back, the meters had not been reset, no air had been added to my tires, Im going to guess in saying that my fluids were not refilled because I dont know how to check that myself. In going to other oil change facilities, they do an oil change, show you the stick to prove the oil change was successful, fill up your car fluids, and make sure that your tires are all at the correct pressure before sending you on your way. None of that happened here. I feel obligated to continue to return here for oil changes seeing as I pay for them as part of my plan, but I was highly disappointed with the service and very unimpressed with the process and procedure. If I did not feel like I have to return to the dealership for oil changes, I would not. I would still recommend a Nissan car to anyone though as I think the cars themselves are worth every penny.

Service department talks down on everyone and doesnt warranty past work. Theyve had my car 2 times and only reset computer so probem comes back every 2 weeks. Its a security system problem so even though Im a technician, only dealership can handle it. Proceeded to talk down to my sister then to me. Wont tow the car, wont fix what Theyve already fixed twice.

Horrible service! Wife communicated a number of times with salesman and was assured the car was in great shape. After driving 2 hrs from Pittsburgh we test drove the car and prior to leaving the lot we noticed the engine light was on. We asked the dealer about it and he couldnt find it until my wife showed him where it was. Sales manager too busy worried about the browns sports ticker seemed like he didnt want to be bothered. Very unprofessional with no understanding of how to deal with the public. I actually rate NO STARS but you have to pic one to post

I went to get a diagnosis as to why certain lights were coming on. They didn’t tell me about the $100 fee until I got there, as opposed to when I made the appointment. I was then told incorrect information from the representative David about what was wrong with my car. Once I asked for the price breakdown of the repair, David told me a different story about what was wrong with my car and it wasn’t until I spoke with the mechanic that I got the truth. I felt like David was telling me incorrect information to try and persuade me to get the work done. A horrible experience and I will not be back.

This place is seriously amazing! From purchasing my first Nissan to servicing it and everything that is entailed with the customer service side of things, this place has it down! Today, I had gotten tires put on at another dealership and they informed me that it needed an alignment desperately! That was the reason why my tires were bad in the first place. They also informed me that they wouldnt be able to get me in until the next week or so. So, I decided that even though this was my husbands car and isnt a Nissan, I would call my favorite dealership! They got me in within the hour and got it done! They are so friendly and they do a great job! Highly recommend! I wish I knew everybodys names who helped me today, but they were absolutely amazing. All I asked for was the slow leak in the tire to be repaired, thats all. An hour later he came out with the multipoint write up. I had to wait another hour to get the tire fixed. I opened the hood when I got home and found the cap to the coolant reservoir laying on the top of the radiator, and the windshield washer tank cap was not put back in place. And now the car drips a fluid under the engine where it never did before. What am I supposed to think about Mentor Nissan ?!?!I just asked for the tire and rim to be cleaned and resealed!

Took my car for an oil change, about the time I started to get bored and walked around the building they were just getting done washing my car. Everything done in an hour, polite professional crew. I cant ask for more.
