This Water and Ice has not only great ice cream but a rotating selection of super yummy Gelato! The owner is super sweet and isnt stingy with samples in case youre fickle like my daughter and I. :)

I really like this store. It is a very clean store, and the clerks on duty often carry my 2, 8 lb. bags of ice out to my car, when they have time to do so. They are always very cheerful and helpful and this store. As a senior citizen, I appreciate being treated nicely. It is pleasure to stop in there.

This is a awesome water and ice store in Mesa. Its probably cleanest store in the city. Store is a very organized and well stocked. I drink their alkaline water. I am already seeing health benefits. I love it so much. Consider me as your permanent customer. They also have lot of Thrifty ice cream and shaved ice flavors. My go-to place from now onward! Customer service is cherry on the cake.

Came to this water and ice a few days ago, top notch customer service. The guy was friendly and helpful, he helped me fill up my bottles. And we talked for awhile. He asked me, what brings you to this neck of the woods. Your quite far, told him about my experience with the water and ice on Dobson. He says ! Yeah ! People have complained to us about their rudeness. Told him ! Youll be seeing more of me. Cause I will be coming here from now on

We buy water here to support a local small business instead of buying from Walmart. But this Water n Ice is just bad business.I tried a demo water dispenser pump in the store using one of their 5 gallon bottles. Since I use the 3 gallon bottles at home, he advised me to cut the stem to fit the shorter bottle. This made the pump not work well at all. I came in to see if he would switch out the original length straw/stem so I could then use a 5 gallon bottle that the pump was obviously made for. I wasnt going to ask for my money back. After explaining to him over and over what the problem was, and an ordeal with trying to communicate between him and whom I think is his son, they determined that I just didnt like the pump.He hemmed and hawed over the situation, shifting from foot to foot. Then loudly explained to me how he would be generous enough to give me half of my money back. Making it sound like he is the victim. He hadnt told me that once I followed his advice to cut the stem, I wouldnt be able to return it. There is no return policy notice that I could see. I have never purchased anything from a small business and even wondered if I couldnt come back in with my receipt and get a refund. Especially since he is the one who told me to cut the stem/straw on the pump. Ive never encountered such an unscrupulous small retail business practice like this in the city of Mesa.

I am appalled at the first time (and last) experience I just had at this place. I find there location on google maps and it says they close at 7pm. I pull in at 645 and run up to the door to double check there hours and posted on the door is 8pm and I can see other customers inside. I grab a cart and take it to my truck to load the (6) 5 gallon jugs of water to be filled. I open the door and walk in and get stopped by a young male employee running up and standing in front of my waving his hands saying No we are closed I turn to look and there are four other customers off to the side ordering ice cream and I ask what about them. He tells me that is it. Those are our last customers and we are closed come back tomorrow After having that experience I load my 6 jugs back in the truck and leave. That was an absolute JOKE / unprofessional experience I have ever had at a business. Google says they close at 7pm, the front door says 8pm and either way its 645 but then to have an employee run up to you and stop you from coming in is ridiculous. If you have an employee running up to you it should be to give you a hand not to stop you from bring in business. That was so wrong of these people all because they were in a hurry to get out of work on a saturday evening. I WOULD STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AND EVEN DRIVE MILES OUT OF THE WAY TO TAKE MY BUSINESS TO SOMEONE THAT WOULD APPRECIATE IT!!!

This place looks really nice now. New owners are really nice and really cleaned this place up. They have much more ice cream and many water bottles for sale. They are running a special on water right now only $0.19 per gallon.

Great place! the new owner really made a lot of changes that make the shop more family friendly.. really love their smoothies and shakes, especially the nutella banana shake! And the black cherry ice cream is to die for..

Water n Ice rocks. This was my second time & first time for my girlfriend we both love this place! Super friendly, super good ice cream that I would say they take great pride in. I took a picture of the sundae we ordered because it was perfectly done it appears to be that of one youd see in a food magazine!

This is place is GREAT! The place is under new management and its much better. They have the real THRIFTY ice cream here ! they have milkshakes, smoothies, sundaes and shaved ice and a bunch of other stuff ! Since they just opened they have a bunch of sales going on and even a senior citizen discount !

This particular location is always very clean and the staff is very nice and helpful always professional.

We came for ice cream only, and it did not disappoint! There was only one employee working at the time, but he was friendly and helpful. We will be back for ice cream, and possibly some water supplies. They also have pints of ice cream in the freezer if you want to take some home with you!
