I scheduled a spark plug change 24 hours in advance. I gave my make, model, year, engine size. I dropped my car off the next day. 2 hours later the manager called to let me know they could not perform the job within the allotted 3 hour time frame. He stated that they did not know the manifold needed to be removed, and tried to reschedule me for a 6 hour time slot and have me pay $110 per hour for the additional time. With the information I provided, there is no excuse for why they didnt know what the job would entail. I took my car to a local mechanic. He performed the job in less than 3 hours...not 6! Either the staff is incompetent, or trying to hustle people. Either way, Jiffy lube should stick to oil changes.

I also appreciated the fact that they did not try to pressure me into an upsell or anything and they took the time to explain what they had done and what the after-care would be. I recently did a drop-in for an oil change. I was in a bit of a hurry, and the team did a great job to ensure I didnt get stuck in queue for too long. They gave me regular updates on the customers ahead of me, and made sure to confirm every additional service they recommended before starting work on it. I was unable to get my tires rotated because they didnt have the tools to address a lug that was stuck. But they gave me all the detail I needed to address that problem with my dealer, which I appreciated very much. This was a COVID oil change, and one where I had to remain in the car throughout. I never had to do this before, but they made it very easy and comfortable for me throughout the process. I actually enjoyed getting to see the team work - they were very efficient, thorough, and communicative. I was definitely impressed! If you need an oil change, Id gladly recommend you get it done at Jiffy Lube Michigan City!

Good experience. Went there to get my front breaks done along with an oil change. Unfortunately they weren’t able to replace my brakes due to some broken retainer screws in my rotors (they didn’t have the correct tools) but they explained everything to me and were very courteous. Devin was great!

Jiffy Lube Service is fast! Their fast service is also quality service. They inform their customers of services the vehicle may need or what the recommendations are for services to your car. They do NOT try to sell the services. They will tell you the cost involved with recommended services but do not push any sales making me feel pressured to have something done, but I know what my options are.

Every time I get my oil changed, I come here. They do a very thorough inspection of your vehicle.

Guys were extremely polite. Made me want to go back to have all my work done. Back wiper blade fell off and the young lady tried telling me they need to investigate it, basically it was something I did. So I’ve decided to take my services elsewhere. And I have at least $1,000 in work to be done but I didn’t like her calling me saying such things.

Just had my rear caliper replaced. The brake specialist had all the parts ready for me and was extremely knowledgeable and courteous. Will be returning soon, as they’ve proven to be a very great shop and give a fantastic experience.

Quick, clean (as clean as a repair shop can be that is), and exceptional professional service. They never talk me into anything I dont need(which is what I love), only simple offers to fix if Id like. A bit more expensive than walmart but the extra care is well worth the small price hike.

The guys did a great job (oil n filter change) & it was quick & easy! I was going to the jiffy in Merrillville but they took forever. Its one thing to have to wait your turn but once it was my turn it still took forever for an oil change. Definitely will be back .

Quick service, fair prices and friendly staff. This was my first time at any Jiffy Lube and I was impressed with the service I was given. I own a hybrid and I’ve gone to other places for oil changes that charge a $50 fee on top of the oil for any hybrid vehicles... Jiffy Lube does not have this extra fee!

The 2 guys who worked on my car named, Kane F and Ashante P (from my invoice) were absolutely amazing. During my break inspection, we found numerous issues. This was expected since I havent been serviced since before Covid. They went to the effort of taking photos and fully explaining the issues and my options. Not being very knowledgable in the cars, I get scared of being taken advantage of. These guys gave me such a human experience that I will go there for advice for everything involving my car, even things that go beyond Jiffy Lubes service!

Nice place. Everyone is nice and my truck had a good looking into. Brianna was especially very helpful. She came out and told me information and helpful tips and opinions on whats best for the performance of my truck. She didnt push me to buy top quality oils or other vehicle items but gave me options and explains on what everything does. She even answers all my questions and reassured me that my truck is being well taken care of. Also recommended on maintenance that needs attentions down the road. Old oil splashed all over under truck engine and crossmember, I had to climb under truck to wipe down old oil, and still didnt get it all because truck smells like burnt oil, and should be that way on a 2020 trucks first oil change.

Coast to coast and everything in between, Jiffy Lube always does a great job for me. Had a horrific experience down the street, but it worked out because I didnt realize Jiffy was down the street and was able to hop right over and get my car in. They were quick, transparent, helpful but not pushy. 10/10 customer service. They even had some coupons that they recommended I use as we went through recommended maintenance.
