I had an excellent visit at the Verizon Store. MJ, David and AJ were awesome. My husband and I needed to replace our old iPhones. MJ was very patient and answered all my questions. I happily left the store with two new phones. I’d rate this team 10 stars. Customer service at its best!!

The professional customer service, which I received at the Victra: Verizon Store, located at Southland Middleburg Hts., OH, was 5-star extraordinary. AJ Westbroks did a phenomenal job diagnosing the issue with my 5-yr phone, and explaining in simple terms why I needed a new phone. He listened to my needs and my expectations in a smart phone, and selected a great phone that is significantly better than my current phone without increasing my monthly bill. (There was a one time $50 set-up fee.) The transfer of data & information was seamless. Before leaving, he made sure that I was satisfied with access to my apps, photos ... I have shopped at this establishment for over 15+ years. They never disappoint. AJ Westbrook is an example of this stores commitment to do their best for each customer.
If I can give this place 0 Stars I would I purchased a Motorola Z4 from this establishment in July of last year it was under a promotional for 50% off and they told me that I would receive discounts into my bill after the first 30 days it is over a year and I have yet to see one credited dollar to my account. The manager also lied to me and told me that I would receive the 5G Moto mod for free. This place is nothing but scum honestly.

Outstanding!!! I am never disappointed when I come to this establishment. The customer service I receive is exemplary. A year ago the manager took his time with me to make sure I understood my data plan, as well as how to work my new phone. He wanted to ensure I felt comfortable once I left and I appreciated his time and knowledge. Today I came in with a warranty concern and swiftly the issue was addressed. A gentleman, representing Pure Gear, demonstrated how much the company values their customers by replacing a product on my phone immediately. The other members of the Verizon team also went above and beyond for me today any chance they had. It is refreshing to receive such customer service. I have been a loyal Verizon customer for many years and will continue to be one. Thank you. Keep up the excellent work.

Rya is truly a life saver. My family needed new phones and she helped us for hours trying to find the right phones and assisted us even with the difficulties we were having that caused her to stay way past the time her shift was due to end.Despite the dragged out day she maintained professional unlike her co workers who I could hear speaking negatively about the some of the customers. I really appreciated what she did and strongly recommend everyone to work with her to get phones because she actually cared to help us out and for us to leave happy with new phones.

Bought my new iPhone 10XR from this place, it was all (as I thought) up front— our bill came a month later and we were told this store isn’t a legitimate corporate Verizon store and told me the phone would’ve been $100 less at a “real” store. The sales guy at this store was apparently supposed to ge is this information. He also forced us into a payment plan for the accessories, even though we could’ve paid up front. After we left, my phone didn’t work. I couldn’t receive/send calls or texts: I then had to spend an additional 30m on the phone with a Verizon service member to fix it. Overall, I will never go back to this store and urge others to avoid it.
Joey was absolutely amazing! I walked in the door exhausted after a long work day. I almost walked out because he was assisting another client...and well...I was just tired. Boy I am I glad that I waited. My screen had cracked and my phone was not working. After watching his patience and professional demeanor with the current customer, I decided to stick around and wait for him. He truly provided me with AMAZING customer service. He made great suggestions to ensure that I had a brand new phone when I walked out of the store that evening. He worked at lightning speed and was such a multi-tasker while remaining calm. I avoided having to have a phone shipped to me ( I would have been phoneless for a night which is the worst), because of Joey being able to proactively come up with solutions. What was a bad day turned out being great. He also made me laugh, and I am forever thankful. He is truly a gem of an employee and the industry can be very challenging so kudos to him and please recognize his efforts! he went above and beyond and you can tell he is stellar at what he does!!! ;) Thanks Joey!
Absolutely terrible store. Upgraded phones and the guy told us with our plan we could get a free tablet. I wasnt really interested but he pushed it on us saying it wouldnt cost us anymore on our bill. Turns out there is a $20 a month connection fee for it he forgot to mention and now I cant return it because your return policy is shorter than it takes to get the bill. So once I found out about it its to late to do anything about it. Also said our bill would be 180 then we would get a discount for autopay. When i called actual verizon to see why i am not getting a discount i found out this is the discounted price. The guy pushed us on cases to that we did not really want but rang them up before we could say anything. Absolutely horrible store and I am pursuing small claims court

This is the worst experience I have ever had upgrading my phone. They did not transfer my photos to my new phone and erased them on the old phone. I lost a lifetime of photos! It took about 2 hours and the contractual costs of service and phone where never explained clearly. The quotes I was given on trade ins and plan costs were not what I received. I went the next morning at 9a when they were supposed to open. By 11a they still had not opened the store. They lie continuously or they just dont know what they are doing. Stay away!

Terrible service! First time visiting this store. Went in because my phone broke, tried to reconnect an older phone because I just needed something for a few days before purchasing a new one. Girl behind the counter made NO eye contact, was rude, seemed annoyed by my questions like I was interrupting her day..shame because you could have made a sale! Won’t go back there again. Been with Verizon for years and never have I been treated like this at any of their other stores. Wish I would have gotten the girls name. Management check your staff, train them better!!

I went in simply to pay my phone bill and Zach, the guy behind the counter, asked if I wanted to upgrade my phone. I say yes and ask him how much it would cost, & he tells me only $130 for the IPhone XS and would make my phone bill go up about 30 or more dollars. I was obviously interested so I go in two weeks or so after and everything goes smooth. I get home and look through the bag since I also purchased a couple more items & I just being curious I look at the receipt. I see it says Verizon Financed Amount with a total of $1010.00. Now nobody ever told me anything about the $130 that I had paid was just a down payment on what I was going to actually be paying!!!!! They had totally taken advantage and I will be definitely changing phone companies. Very untrustworthy workers.
Went in to pay my cell phone bill. went to pay cash! Even paying cash they charged me a $3 fee to pay my bill! Rhea the girl behind the counter was very sweet and customer service professional she gets 5 out of 5 stars. Verizon gets one out of one stars and has me looking at other companies that wont charge me $3 fees to pay my bill when paying cash! Ive never heard of that before and feel completely disrespected as a Verizon customer

It is bad every time I go . This was my last time . If you go to this location you will most likely leave annoyed. Save yourself the trouble...go down the street to strongsville location on pearl . And ask for Marc you will be glad you did . He goes above and beyond for people and you will leave happy .

My husband and I had a fine experience at this store last year. We are always nervous about going into stores that arent corporate, but had no issues with this one. I cant remember exactly why we went into this store, but I do remember the sales guys being very kind and personable. Sorry about all of the negative reviews. Doesnt sound like a scam to me, sounds like these folks are just experiencing buyers remorse. When we were given our free tablets, we were told about our monthly access charges and we were also told about the activation fees (one of them they waived for us). They explained everything in detail and had no issues answering our questions. They also helped us with our free VR forms. We purchased our phones earlier that week online and picked up in the corporate store. They didnt have the phones ready like they said they would, so we left to have dinner. Came back and the phone still werent ready and no one knew where the rep went that we had been dealing with. So it took four hours from the time we first stepped foot into the verizon building to get our online order ready even though I received an email confirmation that we could come pick them up. So we actually had a better experience at this authorized retailer than at the corporate store.

Wow. Im looking at litigation with these scam artists. A year ago they sold my elderly mother in law afree tablet, which she went for because she thought it was really free. Shes on our family plan with us, so my husband takes care of the bill every month, she pays her share once in a while. So it is a little over a year later that we go over the bill with her because of a minor glitch, unrelated to the tablet, but as Duffy explained to her she finally grasped the reality that the tablet is costing. She regrets getting it, was completely shocked it wasnt free and said she doesnt use it, thinking that makes the cost go away. I told her if she doesnt use it to let me use it since we must pay for it anyway till the contract is up. So I get it, plug it in and the battery is not charging, so now we have a tablet that weve paid $100 some odd $$$ for and it doesnt work. There is NOTHING they can do. 3 stores, and a manager and they are NOT sorry for defrauding the elderly, nor are they sorry for wasting our money. To add insult, 3 Verizon stores tried to upsell another tablet with another 2 year contract! Verizon Wireless is NOT a nice company, they are not honest, and they talk fast only to make more sales. They do not value customers who have been with them 10 plus years!
Pat Hester may be the best wireless consultant I have ever worked with. I came in and he met my personal needs. He was not pushy, which was pleasantly surprising and refreshing to me. I recommend anyone that goes to this store in the Southland Plaza to ask for him. Thanks again PAT!

We had to upgrade 6 devices!!!! we thought it would take hours! but the entire store helped and set up everything and transferred in maybe an hour and a half. curtis and tony was the biggest help and even lowered our bill! if i could give 10 stars we would! only place we will go from now on.

Unprofessional store clerk charged me a HIDDEN FEE....When I arrived, I waited about 25 min to get service (there was 1 other customer) which was reasonable and understandable. However, when I began discussing upgrading my phone, the store clerk who was attending to me took a personal call, interrupting our discussion. He and the other clerk were not very helpful and were quite unprofessional, discussing their DUIs; in fact, one clerk who was 4 hours late to work was complaining about having to close that day. With this, I decided to simply purchase and activate my new phone, and complete the entire set up process at home. At the store, I was told I had to pay the taxes up front, which I did plus the activation fee, and confirmed there were NO other fees. To my surprise, when I got home and reviewed my receipt (for the taxes and activation), this clerk charged me a set up and go + fee of $24.99. To remind, I spent a few hours setting up my phone, contacts, apps, accounts, etc. AT HOME by myself. This store took $24.99 from me for absolutely nothing. I called this store and left a message almost 1 week ago and still have not heard back. If the store made a mistake, thats one thing and theyre welcome to correct it by contacting me with a credit. If they do not, then id hope this review serves as a good reason for future customers to avoid this store.

I had to have assistance with resetting my password for my voicemail and Justin took care of me and was great and went above and beyond by giving me more information pertaining to our service.
My husband and I visited today to upgrade our phones. We knew what we wanted and didnt expect to be there for THREE AND A HALF HOURS! We arrived at 9:30. The store opens at 9. First the door was locked on one side. The open sign was off. We walked around to the other door and it was open. The girl that was at the desk was from another store and was the only one there. She was helping another couple and stated that she could help us in a few minutes. Her help (the manager) comes in when he wants. Well he showed up around 10:30. He came over and tried to help us. We were both upgrading to iPhone 8s and he told us that if we opened a new line we would receive $700 off of our bill if we added a new line. So we went ahead and got an iPad. He did NOT mention that the discount would not kick in until AFTER the first bill! That I found out when I had to call customer service after I also found that he added insurance onto our phones without our approval. Three of the four computers were not working at the store meaning we had to wait even longer. The store was very poorly stocked. If you want any selection for cases this is not the store to go to. At one point the manager had to leave the store to drive to another store and pick up a micro charger while another customer waited at the register for over 20 minutes. They didnt ask if we wanted screen protectors or chargers, instead they assumed we did and brought them to the counter. Im sure to add to their profits. We leave only to find out that my husbands phone would not dial out or receive calls. Back to the store we went! Once home we found all of the discrepancies with our bill and the things we did not approve. STAY AWAY from this store if you are looking for any kind of explanation on anything you are buying!

They did an ok job. There was a new guy there when we got our new iPhones last week.. he was alright. The manager was much better. The only major issue I have is that they “confirmed” my iPhone had backed up to the iCloud the next morning after I got my new phone and I called Apple because I still had none of my pictures from this year on my new iPhone and Apple said there was no back up done on my phone and stated the last iCloud update was In September of 2017. Which is exactly what this new iPhone also says even though the employees at that store insisted the phone was backed up. Brian claimed my old phone was packaged up and “ready to be shipped out” so he wouldn’t confirm if my old phone actually backed up to the cloud, which ticks me off and that’s crappy customer service. It was not backed up and I lost everything so I am really unhappy. Also, Brian who I talked to the morning after I received the phone, sounded like he was half asleep when I called at 9am. Justin seemed to be the only guy In that store who knew much of anything. I’m still extremely upset that they claimed an iCloud back up and Apple basically was like “uh no Verizon did not back up your phone because your pictures from this year are not in the cloud.” I probably wouldn’t go back to this location, though. Sorry.

Worst place ever to visit. Just wanted to switch my service to verizon and just before switching to verizon i asked the associate to check my phone if its unlocked/compatible. But they said they have to run my credit just to check if my phone is unlocked. They also gave me another option to buy a verizon post paid sim which would cost $30 just to check if its unlocked.Never go to this place.

Want to have an awful experience while purchasing a new phone? Want to also experience terrible customer service in the process? Then this is the place for you! I entered the store simply to upgrade my iPhone 6 to and 8. It was 1pm and I figured what a great time to get it done! I will be in and out in no time. Oh, how I was mistaken. In the first fifteen minutes the sales guys had misguided myself, and my mother who had met up with me to do the same, into thinking we were getting all these additional products with it (case, screen protector, etc) because we are upgrading. The word free was used only for it to be retracted once time to pay up. At one point we were told they’d give us a free wireless charging pad and then after he rang me up he told me he forgot and that I’d now have to pay for it lmfao. I was already there for TWO HOURS by that point and it was not worth the argument. Then we have the issue of backing up the phones. Clearly no one knew what they were doing because at one point the salesman had no idea how to even use the iTunes. I had to let them know how to operate their own computers!! Four hours later... FOUR HOURS LATER. My phone is finally done backing up. While waiting this four hour time I watched a sales guy eat his food up front on the floor and stink the place up. I watched another guy spray a copious amount of febreeze all around the store because a customer complained it smelled like feet LOL. He fumigated us out in the process and we had to open a door to let the chemicals outs. And then finally another customer had discovered ANTS on the floor. Yes a cellphone store has ANTS. I could not believe it. Finally the salesmen themselves approach all customers with a condescending, I know everything attitude (see above). I will say they were apologetic, which only goes so far, but for a professional atmosphere like this training is needed.I will never return back here and will share this experience. I hope they turn it around because a decent amount of foot traffic. There is an opportunity to really make some money. Starts up top.

Had 2 issues: for the first the rep told me id have to go a true verizon store where they have a technical person because she didnt understand what security option had to be set on the phone for the cloud to do the backup.For the second issue, she said she set up find my mobile for me and all I had to do was go to the samsung website and it would work. I contacted samsung and found out that this option is not available through Verizon. How could this rep not know this???? The Samsung person gave me a link to a google mobile site to use. This Verizon rep was worthless.
The slimey salesman lied to me in order to make a sale. I went in just to purchase a simple phone so I could transfer my sim card and now Im stuck with a 3 year plan on a phone I didnt even want. When my first monthly bill came in the mail and I took it to the store to ask for a refund because I was mislead, the guy behind the counter told me it was too late and talked to me like I was an idiot.So thanks verizon, for making phone bills even more expensive and unfair, lying to me, and just being as scummy as possible with your terrible customer service. When my plan is up I will be switching over to another company because I will not be doing business with a company as unfriendly and distrustworthy as yours.

Stay away from this store, they prey on seniors. My dad lost his phone and brought in an old one to be reactivated. Instead of taking five minutes to deactivate the lost phone and reactivate the one he brought in, they told him they could not do it and he needed to purchase a new phone and new prepaid plan and get a new mobile number. $150 later he now has two phones and two prepaid plans he is being billed for.
