Loved our experience with them! My daughter moved to Cleveland from Utah for school and needed very inexpensive furniture (preferably not needing to be assembled) for her apartment. The selection, quality, and price couldn’t have been better. She got a couch; solid wood dresser, nightstand, and desk; and high-end coffee table for a song. In addition, she got some artwork for her walls. The service throughout the process was phenomenal. In the store they went above and beyond to be helpful. Delivery was fabulous as they worked to get everything into the apartment despite a teeny elevator and small doorways. I highly recommend this store and only wish they had a store back home.

Wonderful selection and wonderfully low prices, this is a great place to shop while helping the local community. They have everything you could ever need to furnish a new home right in one place. Delivery is free over a certain amount spent ($500, $600?) and all the staff are friendly and super helpful.

I always find good deals on used furniture. Bought a Flex Steel sofa and a Levins furniture coffee table. Highly recommend for those on a budget

Very large and organized. The people are nice. The prices are very high. Many used items priced the same & even double the price if purchased new at Marcs.

The older lady with curly auburn hair checked me out today. My card wouldnt work so I said let me go check my car to see if I have any cash I come back and she already put my items back on the clothing rack. I told her I found a $20 and she rolled her eyes and said well now Im going to have to go get your clothes and ring you out again and when she went to go check me out the second time, she also complained about how now I (she) has to take them off the hangers and bag them again I dont understand why she had to complain so much, at least pretend like you like your job.

Ive been here twice. I thought Id give it another shot. They are ridiculously over priced on everything. Furniture, home decor, rugs, dishes. They do have a small selection of clothes too. And I mean small. Still way too high for what it is.

Very clean and organized. Its on the pricey side for a thrift store. The employees arent so friendly and one yelled in the back the whole time I was in the store.

The furniture in this place was cool and unique, stuff you wouldnt find online. We went there at 5:40pm to look around for a dresser for a friend because the store closing time on Google says 7:00pm. But at 6:00pm someone got on the speaker and said the store is now closed. One of the staff members very angrily rushed people out but it seems no one was aware of the 6:00pm closing time.Great selection of furniture, need to update the online hours so people can plan accordingly.

I donated a fairly good couch hoping someone who could not afford a nice one will be blesed ..instead is was marked up beyond most customers reach.... i guess i dont understand..,, you take a good deed and mark it up consideraby...it ruins the pay if forward.....sad

Great place,but please understand that these things you are selling were donated,so please dont try and sell at a price someone cant afford..If they had money they wouldnt be going their. We poor we need poor prices.

Prices are so high for used furniture and most of it has problems. This stuff is donated from the public and even on a sale day 25% off the stuff is still Ridiculously high priced. I would not recommend buying. You can find better stuff on Facebook Marketplace and at least negotiate.

What a shame. Their prices for clothing have always been high considering the quality and brands they have available for sale but the saving grace has always been the $1 color of the week on Saturday where you could still pick up a few cute items for a good price considering the brands/condition. However they decided to eliminate the one dollar sales and increase the price of everything across the board. Unfortunately I will not be returning until they offer a better value and Ill just shop across the street on sale day.

Love this place. They usually have some gems for a great deal and some other stuff that costs so much it makes you wonder who thinks a used dresser is worth $800

Its a big place, with lots of furniture, house wares, and clothing, but prices are high. I have gotten some nice things here over the years, though, and the women at the checkout go back a long time and are always nice to me. There are too many house ware items with white tags, though, which means they are not eligible for discount on sale days. A lot of those white tag items are overpriced and sit there for months, even longer. Seems it would be more wise to just price so that all the items are eligible for discounts on sale days. Furniture is very overpriced, but now they do 25%, 50%, 75% discount according to how long its been there. Still, even at the 75% discount, you have to think twice about it. Furniture is not bargain priced there, even at the 75% discount. Some of it is decent quality, but I do notice a lot of scratches and dents that look fresh, so it seems they are not handling the furniture carefully.

I used the furniture for families program to get furniture for my new apartment. I could not honestly be more pleased. For 180 dollars i got everything i needed delivered. Everything i picked out is fantastic for being used furniture. Items are clean and bed bug free. The lady that helped me and my case manager was so friendly to us and very helpful..i believe her name was Dee Dee. I would not hesitate to recommend them. Thank you Cleveland Furniture Bank!

I appreciate and am grateful for the fact that I could get a bed and couch for $100.00 however, on the day that I went to pick out my stuff they had NO box springs to go with their mattress- and I asked if I could come back when they they did or if they could just hold my order until they got some in- since I also paid the $80 delivery charge- NO to both questions. Sooo I get the mattress and I’m putting my sheets on it and the tags say it was distributed in 1996!!!! They gave me a 23 year old mattress with no box spring- talk about the most uncomfortable thing EVER!!! ☹️☹️☹️

I bought an almost brand new TV stand for a 60 TV for $25 and was assisted in bringing it to my car. Like most stores, the inventory depends on availability - so its always smart to check back in if you dont see something your first visit. The employees have always been more than helpful and pleasant! Cant say enough about this place.

Dont bother coming here looking for a deal, their furniture prices are more expensive than brand new for items that are scratched and broken.They wanted between $600-$900 dollars for hutches/china cabinets with deep scratches and broken door closures.I saw a Thomasville buffet there priced at $1800. What a joke! I bought a buffet by the same manufacturer that was larger and in better shape at a consignment store down the street from here 2 months ago for $350.00.If most furniture is donated to them by the public, thinking it is going to a good cause, their margins must be near 100%. Dont waste your time, this place should be shut down.

I just went to look at knick knacks. Thank goodness I didnt go for furniture - their prices were downright shameful. $1800 for a used China hutch, $250 for a small fake cherry wood curio, items marked premium in their scratch and dent area like the corner portion only of a sectional - who could possibly use that?! What a joke.

I attempted top donate a large sofa and chair with ottoman. All pieces were high quality from Arhaus. If I were in need of furniture and struggling to make ends meet., I would have LOVED to have these pieces. Apparently, they werent good enough for Cleveland Furniture Bank. I do believe that this organization is simply out to make a profit, and not truly interested in providing furniture to those in need. Dont waste your time with them. Donate to Goodwill, instead.

Prices are higher than Goodwill or Salvation Army, but their stuff is nicer as well. A lot of the furniture they sell is brand new and the prices reflect that. However, it is still cheaper than most places. The clothes and shoes are priced right, but the small kitchen appliances are way overpriced.

I always find Bargains!The best part about shopping at the Cleveland Furniture bank is that most of the items are discounted continuously of they are not sold. if its still there the first discount is 25% then 50% then 75%. I found a curio at a 75% discount and several chest of drawers at 50%.

Bought a brand new dresser that was cheaper than other new and used furniture stores that we visited. The workers were really nice and made sure no one else bought the dresser we were going to buy. I would definitely come back in the future.

They change the prices when it gets down to 75%. I have seen it twice, I took pictures they told me it was a different shelf. Lol. An old beat up album shelf no way in the world their would be two dented n broken in the same spots. They think since I shop second hand that I’m stupid, they are the stupid ones they lost a lot of business I put this everywhere. I sent it to news stations Facebook, Twitter all social media—word of mouth is the best advertisement. They blew that.

The employees and volunteers here are amazing! The furniture is the best used furniture you will ever find, it looks almost brand new. What makes this place unique is that they sell used bedroom sets, so you can get a bed, dresser, end table, desk, etc. for a pretty good deal. They also have some clothes and other home accessories. I wish I heard about them earlier before going to all the goodwills.

Neat place. We found a few treasures. It s a pretty large secondhand store. Mostly furniture and housewares, but some clothing in good shape too.

I used to love this place but they have skyrocketed their prices! Their furniture has always been relatively overpriced for used furniture but now they raised the prices on all the small things(household goods, knick knacks, etc.) Im sorry but Im not paying $12 for a simple used vase when I can get it at Goodwill right down the street for less than half that! Just very disappointed🙁

Don’t waist your time unless you have some type of low income discount. This place is way overpriced, outdated, junk for the average shopper. Housewares priced by someone who clearly has no idea what they are doing.This is an embarrassment to Cleveland.

CFB should make it more clear on their website that in addition to not accepting furniture that is too worn, they do not accept furniture they consider out of style. I had a house full of furniture in great shape but the pick up person said the furniture was not in style . I was stunned. Not expecting that type of scrutiny with a donation. I found another place that was not quite as selective.

Note you have to be on time they wont see you.. You only have 30mins to pick furniture. The lady was very very nasty smart mouthed and rude.. It cost 80.00 for delivery you wont get your stuff the same day.. They do curbside drop off you have to bring your own stuff in your home. You think they was paying for the stuff they attitudes suck ass. I would never tell people come here if their in need of help. These people are some foul and rude.. NO CLEVELAND FURNITURE BANK EVERY AGAIN!!! unless you like to be talk down too

The worst place ever! The staff here is unprofessional, and racist. The program manager is extremely disrespectful Dee Dee Scovil. She should not be working with the public her attitude is horrible. I know that the higher ups are aware this women should not have a job assisting families in need shes extremely rude over the phone and ever worse in person.

I think they are a rip off. That furniture is used and outdated very outdated. They make you pay 100 dollars before looking which was a mistake. The stuff they had was literally beat up. Then I had questions and the lady Debbie was very nasty with her responses. I would recommend CFB as a LAST resort. Your better of saving your money up of going to a thrift store. The thrift store on the other side is wayyy better then what they offer for the furniture for familys program. Sorry rant over.....it just was an awful experience for me personally.

If they are helping so many in need why is all the furniture priced so high when most is donated. There is no need for a donated couch or bed to be almost as much as it is new. Would not recommend this place at all.

I give one star because, Im in need of furniture. I had my caseworker fax a referral and theres an 180$ fee that my caseworkers agency doesnt cover. I cant afford the fee. I work but all my money goes to my rent and bills.

This place is a rip off! They are so so so overpriced its ridiculous. Now theyre having 25% off 50% off after certain amount of time. Even at 50% off this stuff is still overpriced. The reason they do that it because they know the county is going to pay them full price when someone comes in with a voucher. They literally have items on the shelf that have the store price on them and their price at the furniture bank is higher than the store sticker price. When you bring it up to an employee they just laugh and say that the price marked is their price.Several years ago they were good, but now they are just a bunch of greedy people. I wonder what the CEO salary is?

I have went there on 4 separate occasions hoping to get a deal on some used furniture. Since I had to start over from scratch, my budget was limited.. I was also very disgusted with the customer service there. Considering how high the prices were and that this is the same stuff in other thrift stores, I am very surprised they are still in business. I also tried to question if the items were inspected for bed bugs and the sales clerk told me to sit on it and find out. Such a hell-hole of a place.

Changed the delivery date without my knowledge then wanted to charge another 100$ delivery fee after dropping furniture off in my lobby. Place is full of scam artists.

Seriously anyone in need couldnt afford anything. 15.00 for a used wall clock & 25.00 for a crock pot sounds like a racket. We were there 20 minutes & never even saw an employee. They are WAY overpriced for furniture simply because people bring in vouchers from the county to get the furniture and they can charge basically whatever they want. Even when something is 1/2 off, the Furniture Bank STILL charges the County voucher for the full price of the item. We taxpayers are paying for this furniture that was donated, and now sold for a HUGE profit. I will never return.

Have been shopping there for more than 10 years and furnished many rooms. Customer service has been steadily declining and just experienced absolutely terrible service today. Had to walk out and leave. Not worth returning to.

Ive purchased many items from the CFB, in support of what they stand for, however i made my last purchase from them Saturday 2-10-19. In trying to help a friend out i purchased a table and two chairs, and loaded it into my van myself because there was no-one there to help. Later that night i found out someone else also bought a table for the friend, so I called CFB on Sunday to see if i could return the table, which was still in my van, and was told No i couldnt. I could donate it to them but not return it. I will donate the table, but it wont be to CFB. Nor will I ever buy from them again.

SHE IS OF NO HELP TO PEOPLE IN DESPERATE NEED AND SHE HAD AN ADDITUDE WHEN WE ASKED FOR HELP. SHE LEFT US IN THE LOBBY THE ENTIRE TIME WHILE WE FILLED OUT PAPER WORK. HER CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS SHOULD BE RE EXAMINED ESPECIALLY WHEN DEALING WITH THE PUBLIC. PEOPLE COME HERE BECAUSE THEY NEED HELP. NOT TO BE TREATED LIKE GARBAGE.
