I was super excited to check this place out but it looks like its permanently closed. The sign out front from previous pictures is down and previous reviews mention customers have tried coming here frequently and its never open. So sad, looks like it may have closed during the pandemic!

This is so cool the hot chocolate is a little too hot but you can let it cool and the organic iced tea is so good. Just to let you know that the iced tea are not sweatend but they will gladly put in some sugar.

Velobahn is one of Milwaukees gems. The interior is decorated in a minimalist style (bike themed, as it shares a space with a bike shop), the music is enjoyable and quiet, and the owners are great people. Coffees fantastic as well. I enjoy coming here to get work done, but its also a great place to bring a friend, especially since the Hank Aaron Trail is right around the corner. Grab a cup and enjoy the walk! :)

I love this place and wish it were not out of the way for me. It is a true chill community place. I have attended it for events, meeting people and after a bike ride through the valley, as it right by the Urban Ecology. Coffee or a Macha Latte, it is always served with a little conversation and personal service. My dog and my bike are welcome there.

I checked this place today but it looked like they were permanently closed. So sad.

Great coffee shop with cafe standards, a comfortable atmosphere and seating, friendly & knowledgeable staff, and bike repair. They have a great vinyl collection and have bikes hanging from the rafters. They are involved in the community and host a variety of events and local musical acts. Great spot for a date, meeting, working or studying alone, or just to grab a cup of coffee.

Every time I come to this coffee shop it’s always closed. I always check the hours on google and Yelp and it says it’s open but when I get here.... it’s closed. Today was my third attempt at coming here but it was closed again. Pretty disappointed!

I was here for a bridal shower and the staff was so accommodating! We were able to set up and decorate however we chose, and they were happy to help out, too. It was a great spot for an event like this! Plus, the coffee is delicious!

FABULOUS coffee shop that supports local businesses here in Milwaukee with Anodyne Coffee and Rishi Tea. A tucked away gem right off the Hank Aaron State trail if youre biking / right off of National Ave on Pierce St if youre driving. Great owners who love and support the community. A must visit in Milwaukee!

This is one of Milwaukees best kept secrets...but not for long. Velobahn has a great atmosphere, filled with bicycle and City of Milwaukee collectibles. Its a great landmark in the Silver City neighborhood, virtually right next to the Hank Aaron State Trail--ride your bike here and let the delicious coffee or tea fuel your bike ride in the Menomonee Valley afterwards! Their chai tea is amazing.
