These guys are reliable and professional. They helped me on such short notice. Its hard to read such negative reviews on this business when Ive seen how efficient and care taking of my belongings these guys were I give them a 5 star review and would definitely recommend them to anyone who is moving.

I never write reviews, but this one, I had to. I contacted Aaron on a Monday in desperate need of getting movers to pick up a piece of furniture and deliver it to my home. Aaron, the owner, fit me in on a Wednesday afternoon, and I was willing to pay the two-hour flat fee. I advised Aaron the store closed at 6 pm, and the drivers called at 5:57 pm to let me know their last job ran late and could not make it to the store by 6 pm. My delivery window was between 2-3 pm, could you not have informed me earlier!Oh, I forgot to mention I did not pay for my item at the store until confirming with Aaron that he could, in fact, pick up my item. The next morning, he wont even pick up the phone or return my phone call to say whether can or can not help me. Yes, I still had hope! The lack of professionalism and not owning a simple issue could have been resolved by picking up the phone.I did end up texting the owner only to receive a response The guys went over on the job. Thats out of my control. I was in the process of getting something lined up but never mind. He responded at 11:43 pm, and they open at 9 am; I am sure he received my desperation voicemail messages, and I just wanted to figure something out.After reading this, I beg you, if your move is important to your family, go with a reliable company who is professional.

We had a wonderful experience! Frankly l did not expect a small local company will do such a great job. Aaron was friendly and easy with the look-around and quote. He responses to all email instantly. Brad and company showed up on time and went right to work. They were dedicated to getting the work done in a safe and timely manner (very helpful and courteous). There are so much trust that we have to remind them to charge for the packing materials in the final bill. Anyone who doesn’t call them for moving won’t know what they are missing. Aaron, thank you again.

We would use these movers again. The 3 men who moved us were very professional and courteous and were very focused on the job at hand. They communicated arrival time and other details very well the day of the move. There were a few scratches to some of our pieces of furniture, so if I could do it over I would protect our nicer pieces ahead of time. We very much appreciated the sense of urgency in moving our furniture and were happy with the amount of time it took to move us.

I had a wonderful experience! Brad and Nick showed up on time and went right to work. They were very careful not to mark up my freshly painted walls. As soon as the truck was loaded they headed to Indy, and they almost beat me. They arrived about 10 minutes after me and started unload immediately. They moved all the furniture to a 5th floor apartment and set it up very quickly. The total was almost spot on what I was quoted. Very happy. Will recommend to all my friends.

Im fortunate to have had (3) opportunities to move with Affordable Packing, LLC. Aaron advised me on how to pack my belongings and which type of packing materials worked best. Very thorough on the entire move process. I hired them to load, unload and transport my belongings. No damage and they even put bed frames together for me!!! I can recommend because Ive had all good experiences myself :)

Great experience! They helped us move with only a 4 days notice and were able to come 2 hours earlier than originally planned. Both guys were very professional, nice, and were able to move our heaviest furniture with ease. No scratches on any walls or furniture. The movers we had were able to get a job quoted for 5 hours done in only 3 hours saving us money and time. Definitely would recommend to anyone and will use them again in the future!

Aaron and Nick were great. Careful and speedy at the same time. They moved fridge from store to house and they were patient waiting for the store to find and bring the item to the parking lot. Took only one quick phone call and 2 days later job was done. I am only sorry I didnt know about them sooner! Would hire again.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!There was damage to nearly every piece of furniture and every box/bin. Only 1 strap was used in the entire 28ft truck full of our belongings. They stacked heavy stuff on top of boxes marked fragile. For example a large garage tool box on top of a small box of dishes marked with red fragile stickers. When emailed and questioned about the situation the response i received was “Shifting will occur and boxes will get crushed when contents are not packed into the boxes properly”. Shifting will occur when you only use one strap and promise 4-5. Boxes get crushed when the heavy stuff is on top of the stack. None of this is groundbreaking information!!! Zero accountability! You and i spoke/emailed about you providing pads that i could rent and return and also about you providing 4-5 straps that we would pay for. You did neither therefore your crew did not have the adequate materials to safely pack our belongings. Had better pads and more straps been used, the shifting and consequent damage would not have occurred.The bottom line is you and your team did not deliver the quality job that you could have and should have. I mean we’re not talking about a few items here!! Any person whether in the moving business or not would know not to put a heavy toolbox on top of a fragile box of dishes!!!! This is just idiotic. I have a hard time believing that this is how you would pack your belongings. Probably need to revise your website...“We promise to treat your belongings as if they were our own”. You need to own this mess and make it right.

Affordable Packing and Moving is an outstanding company that operates with professionalism, courtesy, and a great sense of urgency. Aaron and his crew are all kind, efficient, accommodating, and just as important, they complete their work as quoted and on budget. They have moved me and assisted me with packing twice in the last 14 months, and for my money I’d not work with any other mover in the Michiana area.

Affordable packing made it so easy for not only moving but pick up storage and drop off. I was able to use their storage rental while I had a hiccup in my moving process and they were very careful with my belongings. They asked me where I wanted everything put in my new house and really made the whole process of moving an ease.

The move was over quickly and painlessly, and they were great about putting items in specific rooms after checking labels. Aaron and his helper did a great job moving all my belongings from U-Haul moving boxes in the driveway into my new home at a very reasonable cost. They were on time, very careful about moving the large items, and when the queen size bed frame didnt fit up the staircase they took it apart figured out how to get it up to the bedroom and put it back together! I would highly recommend Affordable Packing to anyone who lives in South Bend.

Very positive family oriented people to work with! They were able to accommodate all of my needs as well and went above and beyond the service I have had in the past with other companies. ::AHEM:: (Two Men and a truck) ::I was very stressed regarding some of my items in my move since they needed to be moved on different dates however Affordable Packing was able to store my piano in their wear house for much less then I was expecting!! They also packed my entire house and I was able to just buy all of the packing materials I needed straight through the company! Thank you for making my move stress free! My family and I are very impressed and great full.

Our entire experience with them was fantastic! Aaron was responsive above my expectations to emails for a price quote and emails with other questions. Steve and Gene were our movers; they were punctual (early, in fact), professional, courteous, efficient (very efficient) and even fun. The price per hour was reasonable, and they didnt try and squeeze extra time out of us, but they got the job done right. They were cautious with our belongings and interior of the houses. First thing is they were late my quote was for three hours two men $330 they charge me for drive time which was never stated in the quote and they charged me for three men so my bill ended up being $500 don’t use them the owner won’t stand by his quote Took them two hours to move my stuff and they charge me a third hour for drive time which was never stated and they charged me for three men for moving quote was for two

We had an moving emergency 3 days prior to leaving for our big move to Alaska after our original moving company told us the day of that they would not be picking up our household goods. I found Aarons number on Google and called him and they not only helped pack up some of our goods on a last minutes notice but they also picked up all of our goods and took them to their warehouse in order to help us get out of our house so we could close! Gene and both Steves were extremely helpful and professional and Aaron helped us out a lot. I cannot say enough about these gentlemen and the job they did and I will be recommending them to everyone I know who is looking to move in the area in the future. AMAZING!! I couldnt believe how quickly they work! Nothing was damaged in my move across country with Affordable Packing, LLC. The owner of the company (Aaron Morris) himself was there loading the truck right along side the crew (Gene and Dylan) he had sent for my move!
