Drove to this place after dinner. The drink I had was kind of fatty and not too exciting. So much so that I dont actually remember what it was called. But the customer service was good and friendly.

I used to love coming here for years, Im not sure if they have new management or what happened but its been different the last couple of months. My last visit I ordered 2 of the same drinks that I always get, and one of them ended up being a different flavor. No biggie right? Well when I let one of the girls there know, Sarah, she got upset and told me no you ordered this flavor. I calmy told her no, and she got more upset and said well u need to pay for a new one then. This continued for a while with her giving me attitude and telling me I wont make you another one. I told her she can throw away my drink if she didnt believe that it wasnt what I wanted. She said no, continued to scold me, until she called her manager and I guess was told to make me the correct one. She said here, and slammed it on the counter. I have never met anyone with such a temper, I found out her name is Sarah. I definitely do not want to go back when shes there. My drink was full, and she said I drank it all too. Idk what was her problem that day.

Macchiato is located right off the 10 freeway, and the little plaza has a nice amount of parking in the back. There is a variety of boba shops in the plaza, but Macchiato offers a cute interior that allows people to sit, chat, study or hangout.Their menu consists of a variety of caffeinated beverages such as tea and coffee. They also have some snacks, sandwiches and desserts for those looking to munch on a few things. I ordered the Macchiato signature tea, which was a fruity green tea with passion fruit, mango and peach flavors. It came with chia seeds, but I also added aloe to my beverage. I also ordered a potted plant signature tea for the gram, because it just looks absolutely adorable.The tea was very good, but also quite strong. For those who prefer their teas covered with sugary fruity goodness, I recommend asking them to put a few extra pumps in there (or just try it first, then add sweetness after!). The potted plant was actually very good. The Oreos basically made it taste like an Oreo smoothie.Will come back for some signature teas, and potted plants!

This is over of my favorite cafes of all time. They have such good food and milk teas! The potted plant milk tea is still one of my favorites and had one of the cutest looks of any milk tea Ive had so far! I highly recommend this place for cute drinks and snacks!

Don’t bother to come here, they won’t have anyone to serve you. We came today because of their promotion. Many people were here in line waiting to place their orders but no one was at the counter to take the orders. There was only one guy making the drinks behind the counter and he didn’t say anything to acknowledge the customers. Customers were transparent to him.Many people waiting in the line just left after waiting for 15 to 20 minutes without been waited on. That’s totally unacceptable. Since this shop has a promotion going, I would’ve expected them to have more people to man the counter for taking orders.I don’t care how popular they are with the locals. There are many good boba places in Monterey Parks and the San Gabriel Valley, people should go somewhere else to get their boba milk tea.

Like others have said, they lack flavor in some of their drinks. I got a Taro slush and it tasted water down and not sweet. There are plenty of other places in the area with great Boba.

My son and his wife took me here for dessert after dinner and it was so pleasant! Great tasting treats and a nice relaxed atmosphere to just sit back and have conversation while enjoying dessert!

The Tea/Coffee house was very pleasant.The atmosphere was very lively and vibrant. Their food was okay. The waffles were a bit much for me in the terms of how sweet is was and drinks were unique/satisfying. It can get a little loud for how small the rooms are but if you’re into/use too loud areas it’s a great place for a date or something quick but delicious to drink ! Staff are very attending and the establishment is very clean.

Compare the bread with the chicken. I took one bite from both and i was done. The rest was just bread. 2 small chicken nugget pieces. They put cheese I asked for none. I even put a tip. I paid over $10 for 2 quick bites of chicken.

It’s been a while I visited here! Wow! They are remodeling nw! Although still in progress but I can’t wait to see it when it’s done. My favorite potted plant milk tea still tastes the same, which is a bomb and the decor is more artsy nw! The staff was pretty friendly when he helped me order !

Customer service and food are great. Be aware! Mochi style waffles are raw/gummy in the middle on purpose! Thats the only thing I didnt know and wish I did :(

I had been looking for a place to study and do errands online but majority of the cafes I have been to were either small and always full with really bad wifi quality. This location seemed to fulfill both needs in terms of space and really good wifi connection. Even their drinks were cute and delicious. In the picture there is a dessert called potted plant, comes with pudding, chocolate cake and cake crumbs. As for the drink I had a almond milk tea. In addition, the service here was very welcoming and consistent. I am definitely coming back here again.

I love coming here! The atmosphere is very chill, even with the chatter all around. I always order the Mochi Sundae Waffles and it is one of the best desserts you can get! And I tried the Chai Tea this time around and loved it!

Super cute interior, lots of seating, great WiFi, and superb service! Drinks are a little on the sweeter side but that just means I know to ask for less sweet next time. Adorable drinks. After we asked for WiFi the waitress made sure we found a great table by an outlet. Loved it here and got some good work done.

3.5 stars!Made a stop here after SO and I grabbed desserts at Mr. Obanyaki. We ordered a honey green tea (half honey) with grass jelly and a green milk tea.I actually really liked the honey green tea, the brew was clean and clear, but the profile of the tea taste and aroma was still very strong with the slight sweetness of the honey. I just wasnt a fan of the grass jelly type used. It was in the small cut up cubes like you find in cans at the market. I prefer the full pieces (usually handmade) and because theyre in small cubes, they float up the top and you cant really drink it with the liquid. The portion of grass jelly is also very little, would be nice to get a bit more.The sip caps they use are also kind of flimsy and easy to spill so be careful when you drink it/place it in the car.You can walk-in or call-in to order.

I love Macchiato! First came here about 5 or so years ago when I moved to the area and I fell in love with the coffee and tea selection. Since then, the place has expanded so its a lot bigger and roomier. The environment is very relaxed and chill, although some days when its busy it does get a little loud, but that applies to any place. I have always had good service here and everyone is super friendly. I’ve tried a majority of their drinks, with my favorites being their macchiatos of course!!! And their potted plant milk tea is a cute classic. They have delicious desserts like cheesecake and creme brulee. And you cant go wrong with their waffles! Ive tried their Sundae waffles which come with fruit and ice cream, their churro waffles which also come with ice cream, and their waffle chicken sandwich is amazingly good! They always make cute designs in their coffees and plates so every meal is picture worthy. I always find myself coming back.Parking is available in the back of that plaza and its never been an issue.

Loved their potted plant milk tea !!!! Also, their house tater tots is so good as well. I like how it has plenty of seating and the staff are very friendly too. Easy to find parking and WIFI pretty fast. Their waffles looks very good, will have to try that next time when I bring my friends over.

Macchiato is a very great place to eat at. The environment and atmosphere is nice and enjoyable. The presentation is also very nice. They have a variety of drinks as well. The food is also really great and they have a little bit of everything. Make sure to try out some of the boba drinks they have. The waiters and host are friendly and nice since the moment you walk in. Thank you for the great experience, we will definitely be returning.

You get what you pay for and they really deliver! Slightly pricier but definitely worth it! It tends to be pretty busy so if you come with a big group you might not find perfect seating. I really enjoyed the big icecream macaroon I had there, delectable!

Macchiato is a cute cafe and tea place. Its 2 doors down for the Half & Half in Monterey Park. Theres plenty of parking on the street and also in the parking lot to the back of the plaza.Their tea and coffee are just okay. They have this drink called the potted plant, which seems to be very popular. Its basically whatever drink you want topped with chocolate crumbles and a little sprig of green sprouts. Its really quite cute.I love coming here when I need to sit for a while. The service is good and they dont bother you much. I noticed a lot of people come to hang out or study. I recently came to plan my Japan/Korea trip with my friend and we hung out for almost 3 hours there.One thing I wouldnt recommend here is to substitute soy in any of your drinks. They use the sweetened Asian soy milk and not the regular kind. The taste is quite different and it doesnt go well with the drinks.

This shop has a very casual layout. I ordered a caramel macchiato and enjoyed it. It was very pleasant and sweet. The downside to this place is that they are pretty expensive for what you get. Most drinks are at least $4+. I dont see myself visiting again.

Macchiatos is nice. Its a great studying place as well as a spot to make a small night out of if youre with the right people. Its near a few other spots too so it serves as a multipurpose business. Some go for the drinks, others the food, and many for both. They have the 5 star rewards there so if youre one of those people rack those points up with a potted plant milk tea.🍳

When all other coffee places are closed, this one is still open, and people are still hanging out at this cool place. They serve delicious hot & cold coffees, and milk teas! And the deserts are great too (with ice cream). Friendly service.

Good modern atmosphere. Snacks a bit on pricey side but drinks alright. Not as busy as drink place next door. Offers pretty much same drinks but has more food offerings. Mostly young crowd on notebooks. Manager sees me in to go line and ignores me instead of calling staff to take my order.

Since it was remodeled, I havent gone as often as i used to. I loved the chill and relaxed night scene that this place had. It is now super bright and upbeat, which isnt bad... just not my style. Coffee and food is still pretty good! So I have to rate it 4 stars.. wish there was a 3.5 option though!

Great place to meet with friends or study groups. Staff are usually really friendly and easy to be found when you need something. One time we stayed there for 3hrs and we didnt feel like we were being pushed out.

Its pretty decent place to hang out with friends, they closed at 12am, and if you need a place to study and coffee. Its not a bad place to go. They have plenty of space inside and outside.

I used to go regularly after eating out with friends but I won’t be returning. We seen a roach in plain sight while waiting for our drinks. We took out drinks but i really did not want to drink it after I saw that.

So they just changed their menu. I kinda liked the older one more but its still pretty much the same. You have to get the Taro latte!

I always enjoy the atmosphere here. The staff the, the Desserts and Drinks are very good. Their tiramisu is really tasty, and there donut ice creams are also good for a nice hot day. The coffee drinks are very tasty. Just the right amount of chocolate in their chocolate drinks.

I love the macaroon ice cream here. The servers are always super friendly. Its a small place so sometimes theres a wait but its definitely worth it.

Pretty solid coffee/dessert/hang out spot. I think the decorations and atmosphere are definitely the draw here, as their food/desserts are nothing that special.Parking is pretty hard to find, but there is an extensive lot behind the store, that they share with a bunch of different businesses.

This is my favorite place to go for milk tea! They are a bit pricey but I think worth it. They have a bunch of options to choose from like potted plant milk tea. I like how they have hot options for the tea as well. My go to is usually the hot almond milk tea latte or the taro. Usually not too crowded unless you go later at night.

Our party had 10 people, and since its a smaller cafe, it was going to be hard to seat us. However, the waitress moved some people around and got us a table within minutes! Their boba is chewy and has enough resistance to let you know its not old or overdone.

The atmosphere was nice. The drinks were good. And the servers were great. I only wish they had a bit more varierty to their menu.

Great spot. First time here and just finished my cup of hot Rose Macchiato. Perfect cup of Joe. Rose flavor was spot on. Not too sweet. I will be returning to buy it again. I was expecting to pay $5+ for this cup and it was closer to $4. Music is perfect mix. Staff was welcoming and attentive. People dont chat too loud so it was enjoyable to stay after my cup. I have an update ya. So I have been here about 10 times now. I have tried about 8 different drinks and they we were all different and great tasting. They are served at my perfect heat temperature. The first time I tried the plant pot dessert it was delish but the second time I ordered, I was overwhelmed with the sweetness I couldnt finished it. But this is just my personal taste. My favorite dessert is the tiramisu. This will be my favorite place to go when it rains.

I think the cafe is way understaffed. I ordered two ice-cream, and I waited for about 20 minutes. The people who got there earlier than me got their boba milk tea. I guess they have to make their ice-cream from sketch or they just do not know how to scope their ice-cream. Therefore, I just did not want to bother them any more of getting my ice-cream, so I left and told the waiter I didnt want my ice-cream any more.

Drinks are decent, probably ask for it to be less sweet though. The boba is just okay, doesnt all fit through the straw easily. The food itself is actually really good (I got the chicken panini). Probably dont come here if you want to study/do work, the light is pretty low. Better for chilling.

They expanded! (: Now theyre the size of two stores lol, theres a lot of available seats but they fill up quickly with all the people studying. Most of their drinks are okay but Im really iffy about the multiple flavor mixes, not all of them work well

Service is very slow. Asked for my coffee 3x and at the end of my meal coffee still never came. Worst service ever. Only 2 servers that are overwhelmed and looks pissed off when you ask them for anything. Food was okay, service sicked. Do not recommend coming here unless you have time to kill.

I come to this place every once in a while as I work right down the street from it and its always a pleasurable experience. All the girls who work the register are friendly and personable. The crowd is young with many on laptops or working in notepads.Id recommend the Potted Plant boba if youre looking to try something new that isnt way too adventurous. Its essentially milk tea with marshmello cream and ground Oreos that form the soil for a plant and a small clover placed at the top for effect. It tastes just as good as it looks.

Nice relaxes atmosphere and enough sitting room to chill and have a cup of coffee, tea, or whatever. Has a pretty good selection of desserts, like macaron ice cream sandwiches and waffles and so forth. I ordered a matcha latte of sorts, and my friend got the potted plant drink, both were good!
