I am a frequent customer because i love the coffee in general. But unfortunately, Ive experienced poor customer service with my order on more than one occasion. Its the only one nearest my work and with limited time, I opt to go there.

So I made it very clear my order was going to be long. One lady did warn me and said it will be long and I said yes don’t mind at all. Then this rude employee with the blue (female) hair was very rude and yelled it’s going to be 15 min wait which I already knew and I had told her I was told, I know I know.! Rolled her eyes and started to slammm lots stuff and was extremely rude to the lady that had her two daughter dress in costumes. Unbelievable, on top of that she is talking to a vet army. Unbelievable!

This is ridiculous, never have I ever been served a half a cup of coffee. Especially from Starbucks. I buy coffee from Starbucks everyday, only on the weekend from this location . Super disappointed and I will not be visiting this location again.

I have come here 3 times and every time theres a very noticeable error in my order. Today, the baristas THREW OUT my order because they thought I wasnt going to pick it up and then made my order completely wrong (put 0 pumps of brown sugar syrup in the brown sugar drink). The 3 employees are also blabbing away very loudly- you can hear them laughing from outside the door.

Fantastic Starbucks but they didn’t have peppermint syrup.

Never seen a crew of 3 people more interested in their own conversation than taking orders from waiting customers.

Run out of things often but that isnt their fault. Staff has always been nice and always had coffee ready.

It seems that employees here need a little more training as far as customer service. They seem to be taking priority in doing other things and they dont care if the customer is waiting to order coffee or they dont even have the courtesy to say Ill right with you. I guess having a conversation among them is more important than the client.

When I came the place was empty and I got my drinks really fast. One was a Venti Peppermint Mocha which they made differently with whipped cream at the bottom it was surprisingly delicisous.. ☺

I ordered a caramel ribbon crunch frappuccino but the drink they give without caramel. They didnt tell name of the drink and the name who ordered before handling out. This cause the customer need to wait again.

Worst Starbucks in Monterey park. They have got the worst customer service out of all the starbucks I have been too. Make drinks completely wrong and expect you to remake the drink yourself. Will never come back again.

I placed my order online and it wasn’t ready when I got there plus they weren’t going to allow me in because they have a 4 person limit but the people who were inside where just waiting for their order and they Only asked me to wait Outside and I’m 8 months pregnantThey didn’t ask the other people to wait outside so they had the perk of being in there with ac while I had to wait in the heat for 10 minutes because they were so unorganized I didn’t even know when my items were ready because we couldn’t even hear anything from outside. First time there and it was the worst experience, never going there again.

Service was fast ad the staff was polite. Establishment was clean and tidy. Interactions between staff were appropriate and not off-putting. #recommended

Worst service possible. Forced us out of the store even though the number of people inside would be still below the limit. When we argued, the barista with glasses threatened to call security. They should not work for Starbucks!

Great place and service! Only issue I have is that there are only 2 tables to sit at. This Starbucks is only good to order and go about your day.

The wife came here to pick up some drinks and said she had a great experience,,,cashier mary and barista julian were the best.

Starbucks doesnt have seating, but they still have great Beverages and a friendly staff. Ill be eager for a return to a more normal interaction, but meanwhile be able to get my coffee in the morning is a real Plus.

I don’t live in California but I visit about every 2 years the first time was about 6 years ago. Jon took my order got it perfect. Ever since then I can come like I said maybe every two years a few days ago I was there in Monterey Park and I had my order and I asked for Jon they got him he was in the kitchen he recognize me he said hi Milan how have you been? How are those grandchildren of yours he even remembered my wife that is great customer service. Please recognize Jon as a great employee rate JoNHope to see you sometime again whenever I’m back in Monterey Park to see my daughter and my grandchildren and son-in-law all right thank you for everything and keep up the great work that’s what I call great customer service.

Fast and friendly service

Ordered my regular coffee which I usually get at another location and got the most bitter version I’ve ever tasted. I’ve been here before, staff is nice and location isn’t bad. They don’t usually mess it up this bad but it wasn’t that busy so I’m not sure what happened. Starbucks in general is usually pretty consistent from location to location but like everything else things happen and once in a while it gets messed up. This just stood out as the worst one by far. Added more sweetener and it’s still incredibly bitter.

They were very polite but they made our drinks wrong and where ran out of a lot of things. The simplest drink (the coffee Frappuccino) tasted disgusting.

I always enjoy Starbucks but when I walk into one that is dirty (counters, floors, windows, etc.) And are out of the food I want, I typically try never to return to that particular store. They had enough workers to walk around and do a quick wipe down but deemed it more important to sweep and mop the back area. Oh well.

It is my first time here, What a pleasant visiting experience today ! Thank you Mr Omar, a coffee master in the store. I just know Starbucks is not just a coffee shop, there are so many knowledge and cultural background behind. Wow, thanks a lot! You make my day! I am willing to come more often, for sure.

Very friendly staff, there was only two people in front of me and when it was my turn the cashier apologized for the wait. Sometimes I have to wait way longer at other places and they dont say anything. The baristas seem to get along and are quick. My order did take a while to be ready but its due to all those online orders so its understandable.

Love using the mobile app! My coffee is always ready for pick up!

Always a nice and quick experience going through this location to pick up my coffee on weekends. I typically order ahead through the app so my interactions with staff few but the times I have ordered in store and all went quite smoothly. Not a great location to chill as seating is very limited inside and out sadly.

I only ordered a Venti Vanilla Frappe for my sister, recieved no receipt but did give my name and sat down to wait. There were hardly any other customers waiting, if any but 20 minutes later we hadnt received anything. Meanwhile, the employees were laughing and chatting. I wouldve assumed it could have been related to work but they were talking to a customer that had already received their order. An employee wandered by and asked if we were waiting for a drink. I said yes and they asked if it was a vent vanilla frappe with extra caramel. I said no, I ordered a venti Vanilla Frappe. The employee left and came back. They had given me the wrong thing. I asked my sister if she wanted the caramel she said no but didnt want to make a scene. I asked the employees names either way. Thank you Nayeli and Jae for having us wait 30 minutes and giving us the wrong drink.

Parking is a problem at peak hrs. It would be nice if cleaner store

I waited around 20mins to get a regular Latte, 3 customers after me got their order before me. They need to pay attention to every order coming in not just ignored it b.c its not a cold drink. Will not be returning to this location!

This LA fitness use to be Ballys in Montebello. It really hasnt changed much, Its no longer clean. Ballys had a grave yard shift of 6 people. LA fitness has only 2 people, daytime only. Smelly!!

Great service and friendly barristas make you feel at home. Its like Cheers: a place where everybody knows your name if you are a frequent customer. Although the venue is small, there is an outdoor sitting area for at least 20 patrons. Gets busy in the morning and at noon, so if you dont have time, pre-order using the Starbucks app.

This Starbucks is extremely busy, but the staff here is very friendly and efficient. For the amount of people that was here, I thought it would take more than 10 mins to receive my 3 drinks, but it was only about 5 minutes, with atleast 6 people ahead of me. Kudos!

Service could be better as some of the baristas are not the most welcoming. The drinks are generally on par with most Starbucks, but some have come out a bit off from the normal taste. The line can be a bit problematic at peak hours and seating is also limited, but there indoor and outdoor areas. Overall, nothing spectacular but its a fine spot for a quick pick up.

Its 5:10 A.M. on Sunday January 26th and they are not open at the scheduled time of 5 A.M. the opener showed up at 5:26 A.M.

I always get a nitro cold brew with sweetened foam. The only sweetened part should be the foam, not the drink !! Its waaaaay too sweet. I told the cashier Migi that I saw the barista pumping vanilla syrup and Migi kept telling me that it doesnt come with vanilla pumping and that he didnt put any in my drink although I know for a fact what vanilla syrup looks and tastes like. Didnt even offer to fix it. Disappointed.

Cant believe this store employees just pile up trash outside their door. Very unhealthy!!

I wish there was a quicker way to earn Free drinks given the ungodly and ghastly mortgages you pay every time you attempt to satisfy your constant caffeine fueled cravings, turned full blown caffeine addiction. The only way I can explain/justify paying such inflated prices... Starbucks Addiction! Next well all be joining S.A. (Starbucks Anonymous).

This is a busy, but very good Starbucks. Lines are long (15 minute wait at most) until about 10:15 am. Seating is not ample, but the space isnt too large, so thats not a problem. Wifi is fast.

This is the closest Starbucks to my house, therefore I tend to order from here. They always miss something on my order. It is so frustrating especially when you are on the go. This has happened way too many times. They dont pay attention to detail.

This is the 3rd time I came to this Starbucks at 1140, and its already closed. The store hours say 12:00am. So why do they keep closing early. Its every disappointing when it should be the only Starbucks around till 12am. False time. Does there store manager know they keep closing early?

Love this location just a bit small.

I go here once a week or so. Several times, they have been out of different selections on their espresso menu at 11AM on a Sunday. One day, their espresso machine was even broken and they couldnt serve anything on that menu. I understand that things happen, but they should at least have a backup to run when theirs stops working. They also stopped serving the veggie artisan sandwich and claim that its discontinued, while every other Starbucks still serves it regularly. That being said, when the above isnt taking place, they actually make their orders really quickly and are very friendly. I will still go here.
