I had filed a claim with my insurance for my windshield damage. Since I was going through my insurance for the repair, they were the ones who called precision auto glass and connected my call. The woman who I spoke with seemed irritated when asking when I wanted to come in. I asked if their was any availability around 4:30 pm. She huffed and said that the service techs don’t like to do repairs after 4 pm so she would have to ask them. I then said I get off work at 4 during the week but if that wouldn’t work that I could schedule it during the weekend too but I just wasn’t sure of their hours. (Because I was not the one who contacted them or had their information/ business hours at that time). she said no they were closed. I then said “okay so if it has to be during the week, I get off work at 4”. She then interrupted and rudely said “oh so you wouldn’t even be here at 4? I’d have to ask.” I then said “if you could I would really appreciate it”. She huffed again and said “okay I’ll call you back”. It’s been two days and she has not called me back. If the technicians were unable to service me at 4 or 4:30 it would be nice to know the latest they were willing for me to come so I could make it work. I understand that they have their own schedules and operating hours. I would not be upset if she said the latest they could do was 3 or even 2. I’d make it work. But the fact that she was rude to me on the phone when I’m trying to make this work and never called back is really unprofessional. Especially when my insurance claim was filed stating my repair was being done there. Its not like I could just take my car wherever after the claim was sent. I ended up calling my insurance back to switch company’s for my repair and resubmitted the claim.
Amazing place great ppl. Always do great work
These guys know what they are doing. Came in with a 72’ Volkswagen bus and swapped it out within an hour. Loved that mike took the time with me to even teach me a little about the are of glazing and install. Thanks again guys. Love it
Original review (May 2020)Fortunately, Ive only needed to have glass replaced a couple times, but also fortunately, both times has been with Precision Auto Glass - they are friendly, professional, and local.Edit (February 2021)Knocking down a couple stars. The installer didnt properly install the lower window trim (missing 4 of 7 fasteners), but more importantly, that lower trim also houses the washer nozzles - and the hoses that feed them. The hoses were designed to be placed in clips, to prevent them from rubbing (on the wipers). The installer didnt place the hoses in those clips, so now, 7-months later, the washer stopped working. The attached picture clearly shows how the hose has rubbed-through
Fantastic service, definitely recommend. Got me in the next day, worked seamlessly with my insurance and in & out within an hour.
After reading poor reviews from the nationwide companies, I decided to stick to a local company. Precision was wonderful to deal with. It was easy to schedule, a price was quoted to me, the guy that came out was very friendly and replaced my windshield quickly. The price was what was quoted. I am very happy with my experience and recommend this company.
Very helpful and fair
Great job at a fair price. I needed my windshield on my 2017 Hyundai replaced, Precision was the only shop that could do it in less than a week.
Great place, the people here will help you out.
