I would never buy anything from Kay Jewelers ever again. I ordered a ring online and the size didn’t fit unfortunately. It says you have 30 days for a refund and 60 days for an exchange in the store. I took the ring in before the 60 days and was told that ring was not available anymore and I would have to get something else. The sales man mike started showing us rings that were 3 times the price and pushing us to buy something we really didn’t want. We ended up leaving and I looked online and they had the ring I needed in stock. So I went back and the person who helped me was very nice but I had to return the original ring and wait to get my money processed and then buy the new ring. Which is a different price than I originally spent. So I spent $100 more to get the right one. And still don’t have my money back for the old ring! Awful company they are just out to screw people over!
Stopped by kay jewelers to find a inexpensive ring and im so glad i walked into kay jewelers not only did i find what i was i was looking for but rosalia the lady who helped me was extremely nice and went out of her way and helped me with everything. Definitely recommend to go here for your jewelry shopping very good customer service and prices

Lets start with my wedding ring broke in less than a year. You dont expect for that to happen on a good quality ring, right? I took it to the store to get it fix. When I picked up my new ring, the first thing I noticed the band was uneven. When I told the sale person that I refused to accept the defected ring, he tried to convince me to go for a bigger size of ring. The problem wasnt the size of the ring. Then, we agreed to get a new ring and send it back for a do it right. After a month now, I received a call that new ring was ready for pick up. The first thing I noticed with the new ring was that it looked smaller. Well, I was right. The ring was almost a full size smaller than my size. I got so frustrated and upset abou it. How its ever possible that after a month they arent able to get my ring right? I requested to speak with the store manager. When the manager approached to me, she said that they made it that size because someone wrote it in the receipt. The last person I spoke with the last time was the same store manager. I explained her that all what I wanted was my wedding ring back as it was in my normal size and in perfect condition. I dont need to tell her how to do her job. She knows better. She should have taken my ring size or look at my account to verify that the information was right. It doesnt make sense to have a ring size so small that it doesnt fit me. Once again, I requested to fix my ring by using a new one. Also, this time I requested to have only the person in charge to do the job. So, after a month without my wedding ring, the manager told me I had to wait another three weeks to get it back! How its ever possible that after all this time that they fail to provide my order right, they cant make me a priority and do it ASAP?I do not recommend this jewelry store to anyone. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
Got my daughters ears pierced there Saturday. The were so so short that left no room for swelling. The employee didn’t check the back properly and the back popped off in the middle of the night and the back of her ear closed with her earring still in her ear. It was a mess. Would never go there to get ears pierced again. I’m out $100.

Salesman Gary leaves something to be desired in the manners department. Went to get my ring finger sized today and what should have been a positive experience was humiliating. He referred to my ring finger as a “muffin top” repeatedly said it wasn’t normal (because his wife’s a nurse) and told me to come back once the swelling went down. I didn’t go there for a medical diagnosis but Gary please understand that a woman retains water when she’s menstruating. I would have appreciated a less harsh and personal way of saying the sizing may not be accurate without words like “muffin top” and “not normal.” My poor husband was probably mortified.
I enjoyed this Kays over the one in West Valley. But over all am very satisfied with both. However, this Kays and the young lady that assisted us was very nice and knowledgeable!
Liz and Gary were AMAZING!!!! My fiance and I walked in to find a wedding band for our ceremony the next day, but instead my fiancee surprised me by buying a beautiful wedding set. Liz and Gary shut the store down to go run my wedding ring to get sized and had it ready for pick up that same evening!!! Today I and my mother were racial profiled by the older man with white hair and beard. He was asking questions that were rude and unprofessional saying, “you guys came straight off of a reservation huh?” Would not let us come in till we confirmed how much money we have. We have been going to this location for a long time always welcoming feeling with other employees, and buying jewelry. But this man is a horrible employee with a rude and passive aggressive attitude.

Just visited for the first time today as I am in need of a necklace! I visited 3 different jewelry stores before going to this establishment and I neither of those impacted me as much as this store. Gary made me feel super comfortable and at home. He was patient. He was informative. He gave me a feeling as if he cared. I didn’t feel this when I visited those other stores. The gentleman who helped us was Super patient when it was almost time to close, he found me the perfect watch for my now Fianće! I wish I could remember his name but he had a white/light Greyish long hair and beard. He was always so cheerful and was definitely dressed for the holidays 😊
Sale representative Gary at Fashion Place was amazing. I came for a watchband adjustment and Garys customer service made me feel like we have been friends forever and I decided to have some work done on my family heirloom ring.He is very impressive and you guys are lucky to have him!

The buying experience was decent, although lengthy.Once I made the purchase, the customer service proved to be horrible. My ring set has been sent into the design and service center 4 times. Each time, it’s been returned with something wrong.The last time, I was told it would be hand delivered to the “master craftsman” along with a photo of what needed done. It was returned incorrect, once again. My band then snapped completely off the following day.It’s been sitting in a box for 4 weeks because of the covid19 closures. Kay Jewelers is open for new sales, but for those who’ve already made purchases, and need help, their service center is still closed.I’m beyond extremely disappointed, and will never purchase anything there again.

Gary was the absolute BEST! My fiance and I were looking for our wedding bands and Gary NAILED IT. I was having a hard time finding what I wanted to pair with my engagement ring, I was kind of all over the place trying to see if anything would stick. Gary was so patient, kind, and was really absorbing my reactions and comments until he knew exactly what I wanted. Literally told me to close my eyes, put the ring on, and BOOM. I found the one!My fiance was much easier and found his almost instantly in comparison to my search.Then, as Gary was finishing up paperwork and what not, he brought out a huge platter of food to offer us dinner while we waited!The best experience my fiance and I could have asked for!
I just wanted to say that I appreciate how kind the rep Brady was when we came in to this store to have a ring checked and cleaned for warranty purposes. He had a lot of helpful recommendations for us and got us out quickly. He even took down my phone number to follow up with questions that I had.
My fiancé was helped by Gary and had nothing but awesome things to say about him. However, Hannah went above and beyond to make sure my experience was great. Definitely a jeweler I would recommend.

My boyfriend bought me a ring more than a month ago that was not my size, at that time they told him that they could take the ring to the jewer to have it fixed and they would have it ready in two weeks. So a few days later we returned with the ring to adjust it at my size, that day at the store they told us it would take 2 and a half weeks, when 2 and a half weeks passed, my boyfriend was waiting for the e-mail to go pick it up, so someone call to tell him that the ring had already arrived at the store but it was reported that a stone was poorly adjusted and they would send it urgently to fix it, they told him that it would be ready in 2-3 days and again at the deadline he didnt receive any message or call, so he called them, they said that the ring has been already in the store to pick it up but when we went to the store surprise again!! the ring wasnt in the store and now we must wait another 4 days to receive it, but everything just seems like a mockery because they dont keep their deadlines and they dont communicate anything or give us an update.All this is very frustrating and there is no one to help, everyone just answers with a sorry, and points the finger/blame on someone else, but that doesnt help, they only give dates that all fall through.Terrible service, we will never buy anything there again and now we are just waiting for the call to know if the date they gave us will actually be the day we finally get the ring. We have been very patient to a great extent until it felt like they were lying to us, who knows where the ring really is and if we will ever get it. Wish wed never bought anything from Kay Jewlers. The story would have been completely different had they been more organized to be able to tell us the correct information instead of giving us false hope every 3 or 4 days.
I found my wife’s wedding ring here. Customer service is good but I really like their style of selection, especially the Le’Veon sets. Overall I would give them a 4.5 star

The worst. Will never buy from Kay again. Have a Levian ring that I bought a few years ago. They sent it to be resized smaller and after not hearing from them for awhile I called and was rudely told they would email me when it came in. After a few weeks I called again and was told, oh ya, we have it. Still no email. When I went to pick it up it was missing a diamond. They told me that they would have it fixed within 24 hours. Well it has been a week and they still do not have it fixed. They have had my ring for almost 2 months now. Im super annoyed.
I love this store. The staff is friendly, helpful, and I have not found them to be pushy. They are knowledgeable and know their stuff. :) Would highly recommend.
Went in with 3 watches for battery replacement, 2 were fine, the third they broke a pin and didnt have the parts to fix it. Tried to upsell me on a new watch after saying there wasnt anything they could do. Wont be going back.

A great environment and atmosphere to shop. I have been here numerous times for different occasions and have always received excellent service!Kelsie has always taken the time to make sure that I got exactly what I came in for and if her store didn’t carry something she found another that did. For example, my wife and I went in to pick out her wedding band. My wife had a specific ring that she wanted and the store did not carry it. After a while of looking through the system and contacting other stores, Kelsie was able to find exactly what we needed. I recommend talking to her the next time you go in. She is extremely knowledgeable about the jewelry they carry too.

Very negative experience. We said we wanted a unique ring that no one else had, and the sales lady started pulling out their best sellers. She was pushy and we didnt feel listened to.
Got a family heirloom diamond ring resized and a diamond replaced here. The diamond is significantly smaller than the others and of completely different clarity. The ring had some sort of ugly tarnish all over the band that looked like it had sat in acid and wasnt polished afterward. The area around the diamond that was replaced is all dented and scratched up. Nice people but do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Not happy at all.
I love kay jewelers, Ive never had a pushy salesperson.. BUT at FASHION PLACE MALL there was one young salemesman who mocked me when I called the (sparkle+shine stick)a dazzle stick.. and he mocked me to another coworker in front of my face.Ive been buying from kay jewelers for 4 years and thats the first time Ive ever been inconvenienced.Other than that they are usually very helpful.
It is a mall jeweler, so you can guess what you are goong to get. The people that we worked with were reasonable. The prices are not the best, so wait for a sale. The biggest negative is that they dont have an actual jeweler onsite, so if you need work done rhey have to send it out.
Went to a different kay jewerls and had an alright experince, came to this location and it was great! Deana was great at helping us pick the right items, we even got a discount. She was patient with our request. Manager was also there and was very helpful to answer our questions. Thanks guys!
Took a bracelet for repairs. It broke the first day wearing it. $54.00 down the drain.I took another ring that had a diamond missing, it snags on everything...it has a sharp spot somewhere on the ring. DO NOT USE THEIR REPAIRS.

These guys dont know their faces from their asses! They dont do as you ask with your jewelry they do as they want, they cant give you correct info or even care about you what so ever. Dont apply for credit here if you are not wanting more than one credit inquiry on your credit report! I was told I was pre-approved which has no impact on my score since it was a pre-approval. Once I decided to go ahead and get the Kay Card I was told my credit will be ran ONCE for a decision among two different credit departments which are Comenity or Genesis. Well I got approved for credit with Genesis and I look at my credit report, to find out that my credit was ran 2 times for Comenity and once with Genesis. I called both places, the Murray store, and corporate and no one can help me with these wrongfully inquirys that I did not authorize. Now I have to fight with the 3 credit bureaus to prove that I did not authorize all these inquirys. If you ever dealt with Credit Dept they hate removing inquirys! Just like a car dealership, you cant believe what you are told. They are all sells people so they dont care about your credit as long as they got an approved credit card for that day.

Too many issues and too much of a fight.Full story with updates below. The district manager in training Kelsey at Fashion Place made the previous situation right for us but ultimately its just too much to do business with them again.In December of 2016 I bought a LeVian strawberry gold, morganite, chocolate diamond and vanilla diamond ring for $2200 (retail price is $2475) to replace my ceramic wedding band. I was told I could trade this in down the road. However, after 6 months of ruling out other issues, I discovered I was allergic to the copper in the rose (strawberry) gold ring. Kay would not allow a trade in aside from the diamond value of about $300. $300 would not replace my ring by any means. The company still sells the ring and I believe it would have been fair to offer even the sale value of the ring toward a trade in.Do not buy jewelry without a center diamond stone from Kay or you will not get anywhere near the value of your ring back if you need or want to trade this in at some point. I am left with a wedding ring that I cannot wear.Update 1/13/2018:Went into the South Towne store to have my husbands ring resized - we bought the jewelry replacement plan which will replace his ring since they cant resize it. The South Towne store told us we couldnt only do this once. The plan terms and conditions do not list only one resize and yet the store would not honor it. As you can imagine, Im highly frustrated with Kay, yet again.I just picked up my ring from the Fashion Place site last week after having it sized smaller and it was a very poor job, uneven in the sides and a dent looking shape on the other.Update 6/29:On 6/8/2017, the Orem, UT store manager made an exception and allowed me to exchange to another LeVian ring ... if I spent $500 or more extra, which I did. I found a pretty black and white diamond band in white gold that I really liked. Later that night, I found out one of the smaller diamonds was missing so I took it to the store closer to my husbands work, South Towne Mall in Sandy, UT, to have it repaired. Yesterday, 6/28, my husband picked up the ring on his way home. The repair was shoddy work - you can tell on the edge of the band where they tried to pull the gold from the band - its a little sharp AND they left a deep scratch further down the side of the band AND another diamond is missing (different place). Did they just take the diamond from another place and hope I wouldnt notice or is the ring that cheap in quality?Im going back tonight in hopes to exchange to a non-LeVian ring. Ill update later.6/29 - South Towne Mall - they were nice and helpful but ultimately suggested I go to the Fashion Place store to speak with the district manager.6/30 - Fashion Place Mall - I worked with Kelsey and she was amazing. I did end up spending an extra $700 (above and beyond the $600 from the last trip) but I got a much better ring due to their 25% off bridal sale. Thank you Kelsey - your assistance has changed this review.
