Its a GameStop but the manager at this one is notably nicer and the staff are very open and have no problems sharing interests with you.

A decent variety of different range of games and systems. Retail items and collectables. Small store, with only one clerk. Still seemed to get the job done and didnt neglect to chat with me while I browsed. I recommend this shop.

Usual game stop location. I stopped in for an old system controller, didnt have any in stock but was extremely helpful in helping direct my business to getting what I was looking for! Clean store great modern system selections... I always reccomend shopping local, but when in a pickle This stop will always do for anything modern...

Why stock used game cases to games you dont have in stock? Because without the cases people would realize you dont have anything in stock, and wouldnt bother going in. 2 stars for friendly staff.

Manager helped me with a huge issue, Wii U wouldnt read discs and I didnt have all the correct information to work with to get it fixed. However, with the information we did have, he made it work. Saving my night. He also had a really cool military story, very interesting to listen to. Thank you very much.

Game stop has very helpful employees, something I appreciate as the mother of games but not a gamer myself. Except Pokemon that is. When I am trying to figure out which version of which game my son will want, their knowledge, experience and willingness to share both make this my go to place with any questions I have. I also like that I can buy older video games since I dont have an urge to buy the switch that Nintendo put out. Its a great place for us clueless moms.

Me and my lady have membership, and were just informed that the membership policy has changed and does us no good anymore. Its pretty un ethical to not let your members who pay for a membership know that your policy has changed. If your a member you should probably look into this and cancel your membership. Game stop is under new management this is the reason why.

The service was pretty good but overall the prices for controllers and the amount of money you get from trade-ins are absolutely outrageous. Still love you though gamestop! Just need to fix those things.

I came in to look into an exchange for my refurbished but defective product. That went ok, but soon as I asked for anything else there the guy who I assume is the manager kept saying nope we dont have it or its out of stock. Only to be followed up by one of his more helpful employees who actually looked and found the items I was looking for. Now normally this isnt a huge deal, but this happened every time I asked while I visited. Then he would just stand in the back with his arms crossed like an angry hardcore kid at the back of the pit; with his guages out and thinking hes the coolest dude in the place. Its moments like these that remind me why GameStop is going out of business.

Offered me 50 cents for a trade in. I bought a PS3 for $130 just to return it when I found the pawn shops sell the same one for $90. Im also tired of constantly being pushed to spend more and more when Im there. I dont know who they think they are trying to receive so much money on used items they dont deserve the money for. Im always getting ripped off by GameStop​ and I know Im not the only one. I welcome the day they finally have to close their doors for good and I know Im not the only one that feels that way. They know at the rate they are going its going to happen eventually and the people see it coming too. Stop having friends of the employees leave positive reviews to bring up your ratings. Dishonest trades and dishonest reviews. All around a terrible company. Glad there are so many others out there with better prices. Btw people pawn 1 offers a 6 month warranty on any consoles purchased. Dont waste your time and money on these crooks anymore.

Went in to buy an XBOX 1 X with 1 TB and they rang up the cost accordingly 300.00. Got home and hooked it up downloaded Fortnite and was taking forever. Then we noticed it was an XBOX 1S! And to top it all it off, only 1/2 TB storage. Very disappointed. Went back and refunded the $$ but what a hassle.

Went in for a pre-order for The Borderlands 3 collectors edition as i was instructed they only had 1 xbox avail and where holding it for me.. after we sat there for about an hour, me and a few other customer were finally told to put money down on the normal edition and then they would move the order over to the Collectors when their systems recovered.. its been 2- 3 weeks no phone call and now once i finally called then all they could say was sorry its no longer going to happen.. Awesome CS..

Im giving them for stars because I think their prices are still outrageously High especially for used games but they do offer a lot you can always bring the game back within 7 days which is a bonus because I remember when I was a teenager you could not even do that with an Atari 2600 game.

At game stop everything i have ever got was broken not working or just unusable the employees are all minipulative deceptive jerks promising every time that they have the best quality but time and time again i find things just across the street at Wal-Mart cheaper and ALWAYS WORKING at game stop everything is truly all a lie the say things not to help you but to get more money they all know that the lame pro gamer card is a rip off yet they promote it they say they will give you the most value for trading in games yet i have personally traded in a game they gave me litteraly 5 cents for the next day the same game i just eased in was being sold for 5 dollars they are such rip offs i cant even count the times they have told me things are in perfect condition and I get home and it wont even turn on

Never really had a problem shopping here. Yeah, the prices are a little higher than other pre-owned stores, but I feel the quality of item is much better. Not to mention the employees at this particular store are insanely friendly. I have had zero problems getting what I needed here. If they dont have it, they will find it for me. They make amazing recommendations for what my gaming needs are, such as great RPGs when I had to be off work for a while due to an injury. This store is doing something right in my opinion.

I brought in my Wii and they told me if working (witch it was, i checked 5 minutes earlier) that they would give me $25 for it, so to check they plugged it in but they just bent down for 2 seconds and came back up and said that they did it. then they plugged it in again to the TV, just to say, they didnt do that. then the lady telling me what its worth told me that she was Sorry then brought in the manager. she just told me she was Sorry and then i had two annoying clerks telling me they were sorry and not doing any thing about it. i walked out of there with $14 and for punishment i made them go through my 100 wii games

Game stop stores are hit or miss, but both of the Nampa stores are famtastic! The stores are well oorganized, clean, and easy to manipulate in. The employees are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They offer suggestions and up sell a bit, but they are not pushy about it.

Okay, admittedly BestBuys gamers club is out-right a much better deal than GameStop--but that doesnt matter because the staff at this strip-mall GameStop on 12th is absolutely phenomenal. Not only are they incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, but theyre aware of my habits and tastes as a gamer and always recommend the right kind of game for me. I absolutely love them and I wont stop anywhere else--even another GameStop. This is THE location and its the best one in the entire Treasure Valley! If they go anywhere else, Im gone, too. Keep them around, manager! Do what you can!

Went in to purchase a gift for my nephew, hes been wanting the Lego movie video game and so I decided to go to gamestop. Price was $18 which I thought was a little steep, but got it and drove home. Once I got home peeled labels and stickers off it to wrap it. Then I saw price tags for $14.99 and 9.99. Tis the season to rip off honest folks I suppose, when I returned I was told that prices can vary and fluctuate. What they really mean is its the holiday season and we can steal from you. They are crooks and thieves, never again will I do business with this establishment as a whole. I only hope you guys are proud of yourselves for ripping off customers.
