The worst customer service I have ever experienced I was greeted by Brenson the salesman that shook my hand and never for a second felt welcomed or respected as a customer. Nothing compared to the red carpet treatment I was welcomed at Sewell Cadillac! Brendan the Salesman went on vacation and never returned any of my calls. I regret trusting them and in return they ran my credit and offered me a 17% and ran my app w over 5 creditors. Thank god for dealerships like Sewell, I’m proud to say My APR is 4% and LOVE my new Cadillac!

I had my car repaired at Philpott Collision. Emily kept me posted on a regular basis about the status of my car. She answered all my questions and communicated as often as necessary with my insurance adjuster. She went the extra mile and assisted me with all photo uploads etc. that my insurance carrier required. Very appreciative of everyone there and as usual with Philpott, always a great job!.

This was warranty work and a 15000 mile service. I called several days before my appointment to be sure they would have a loaner vehicle available if the repair took more than a day. They assured me there would be but that didnt happen until mid morning of the second day. All work seems to have been done well. Ford Customer Service promised me some complimentary maintenance credits for my inconvenience on the warranty work but that didnt happen.

The part I needed for my truck was in-stock at the dealership. They said it would take about 2 hours to install, and that I could come back the following day and then they could fit in. I showed up around 8 in the morning, and told them I would wait. In about an hour and forty-five minutes, my truck was completed. Nice friendly people.

I got there and found out the appointment I had scheduled hadnt gone through which meant I didnt have one. The service guy was very nice and managed to fit me in. Between the oil change, tire rotation and having everything checked, it only took an hour. That went by quick. Ill always bring my Ford Transit Connect to Philpott Ford for service.

Charged me two months of car payment to fix my car. I didnt even get home and the car was having the same issue 🙄. I dont understand how they can morally be ok with charging someone over $600 and not fix the issue. The service advisor Latasha Saurage was not helpful and refused to give me any update. and the technician Bruce Norris fixed a bunch of other stuff but not the actual issue it came in for. My car has less than 40,000 miles on it and very well maintained.

Took a 2018 Shelby raptorF150 for power steering issue.2 months later I picked it up and now it’s leaking oil and smoke coming out of the exhaust.I gave one star because there is no option for less. Very disappointed. If I did my job that way I would b sued everyday. Had 6 ford trucks in the last 8 years. Will not be buying Ford ever again

I had a appoint @ 8 am Friday 1-8-21 it was being handled my Latasha I got several text from her first text was @ 8:08 Am then again @ 11:29 letting me know they have not started on my truck i called at lunch to talk to her but was unable to talk to her @ 3:00 Pm i got a Text saying my ticket was with a Tech i called @ 5:pm talked to a guy said my truck was being took off the lift to come on and pick it up . Got there around 5:10 and truck was not ready i sat there till 5:45 waiting on my truck and was not given any paperwork as to what was done to my truck and did not sign any paperwork to get my truck . I called Monday to et a copy of my paperwork and was told that Latasha would email it to me . Now its Tuesday with no paperwork so i called back and was unable to talk to anyone in the service department . Called Wednesday left a voice mail with the service manager voice mail and have still to get a call back

Ive been doing business with Philpott for 21 years. Ive been very pleased over all. That being said, The last two or three years not so much. It appears to me that they are selling more vehicles than they can adequately service. The Ford service depart seems to be backed up all of the time. Quick services theyre able to get in and out pretty fast. Warranty and more technical service seems to stay backed up all of the time. Its as if there isnt enough qualified techs employed at this shop. Its possible that this is the new business model. Like going to a store that has 20 checkouts and only three of them open with lines in all three. I dont know if this is the case. I hope it will change for the better. Being owned by a large corporation, its doubtful.

Made an appointment showed up was waited on after another who drove in after me ( with same appointment time). I questioned the lady and was ignored the customer told me he had an appointment at the same time as mine. The customer service rep that came out to me Keegan Johnson was very rude after I asked why they let someone cut in front of me and the experience went down from there. Took my truck at 8:56 am for an oil and filter change and a state inspection. I paid at 11:31am, 2hours and 35 minutes from the time they took my truck, The man that was allowed in front of me left at around 10:00 am and apologized for the misunderstanding. I feel my wait was in retaliation of my complaining to the customer service techs about the line cutting.

Worker called me for appt and just decided to not be there. Anyhow...... so much mold in the building. It appears ac leaks and never fixed. It started making me sick in 20 minutes of sitting in there. The ladies working in there are very nice. They should NOT have to be working in furry mold growing on tiles and spores being blown out of the a/c system.

Ive been a long time Ford customer and purchased over the years Mustang and F150 but have never used Philpott. This past year my son had recalls on his Ford Focus and another dealership that Ive been a long time repeat customer of that sold him the car kept pushing past the Ford recall and we were getting nowhere. I called Philpott and the service person that took my call was very prompt and courteous. We took the car right up to Philpott and the issue was resolved and fixed.We now will use Philpott for our service and plan using Philpott Ford for our future vehicle purchases. Very pleased with this company all around.

I brought my truck in for her 1st oil change and couldnt be more satisfied with my visit. I arrived at the service location at 7:15 am, it was my first time here so I had no idea exactly who to talk to. I walked into the lobby and was immediately greeted with a smile from the two ladies behind the desk. They asked me what they could help me with, once I told them them they politely explained what I needed to do. After pulling up in the service lane I was greeted by Keegan Johnson who was also very polite. I told him this was my first time here with my trucks first oil change and wasnt exactly sure what I needed to do. He took all my information, explained the services they would do, looked up my service plan and then had me sign. Told me he would keep me updated on the process and would call me when it was ready. When it was ready I went to pick it up, and again was greeted with smiling faces. I am so glad I chose Philpott as my service location. Highly recommend them if you are needing any services.

I have bought 2 vehicles now from Philpott Ford. I had no issues until I bought my 2nd vehicle. A sensor went out (not Philpott related) it was covered under warranty. It was towed to Philpott Monday night. I called Tuesday morning to see how long it would take and I kept being told they were going to ask the dispatcher and call me back. This went on all day. I called right before they closed Tuesday and was told my car would be looked at first thing Wednesday. I called at about 8am still no information. I missed work Wednesday because I did not have a ride due to this situation. My husband who is working nights went in there and found someone who gave us the information that should have been told to us in the beginning(He is the only reason I gave a 2 star). They found out the issue but that they did not have a vehicle for me to use and that the used department didnt want to help me. They were able to get my car done first thing Thursday morning thank goodness but still had issues with getting to work.

I had a horrible experience with Ford. I took my truck in, it was there for almost 2 weeks and nobody had time to look at it to tell me what was wrong. When I pick it up my husband mentions to a guy about making an appointment for his truck to what the employee says you can leave it here now and I will have someone look at it. My husband asks wouldnt I need an appointment or do you have time now. He said we can do it now if you want. My husband is shocked and asks well why havent you been able to check on my wifes truck since it has been here 2 weeks and the guy didnt know what to say. Why cant you check my truck but when someone else goes in you do have time to check on theirs?

I took my Expedition in and it didnt take an hour and they were done. I really appreciate the service and smile I received today because its very hard for me to get off work to complete these task. Went in for first oil change and one question about computer display. They said they were competitively priced for oil changes and they were. Service consultant took care of me quickly and I was out of there in about an hour It was a good enough experience where I will take the time (28 miles one way) to have it done here versus the quick lube guys.

Took work vehicle here. they told me the job would be less then a week. they had it for 12 weeks.. and charged way more they supoosed to. couldnt find what was wrong for 12 weeks. they never returned phone calls. had to hunt them down just for them to talk to us. I would never take a work vehicle here. didnt give us a discount or anything. and we had to pay 1000s in rental vehicle fees as well.

Multipoint inspection not done as tire pressure was not checked or aired up to proper pressure, oil monitor was not reset and it’s been raining so I haven’t been able to verify the $50 I spent on oil change was even completed. I took my truck in for service. The vehicle needed some repairs and other issues were found. After the parts arrived and the insurance claim was solved the truck was repaired quickly and i was satisfied with the work. I know that it is a lot of extra work dealing with warrantee work but they took care of it quickly. I will continue to use them for all of my service work.

They kept my car for about two weeks, after I called asking for an update they claimed that I never gave them the keys so they havent been able to work on it. After talking to the manager he said that if I took my spare they could make another key FOB free of charge. 1 year later I am still waiting for the key.In that year time, I have taken it for regular maintenance work and the last time I took it they lost my tires spline (wheel lock) and refused to give me a new one. Manager said to go to Modicas and tell them to charge it to their account. When I went they refused to do anything. I had to go back to Philpott and this time the manager told me that since I left there was nothing they could do.Needless to say, I will never be coming back here.

My thought of buying a extended warranty on the truck....good or bad idea....don’t know if it’s worth it... any input from dealer or service manager would help me out in My decision.As for the service on the truck...a little expensive but I do like ford factory parts and certified mechanics doing the work..I have spent over 4 grand on a 2013 Ford 150 truck and still believe it better than a big note every month.

I brought my daughters recently purchased 2011 Ford Edge to have the brake booster replaced using the extended factory warranty on that part (since no recall). I also wanted a Low Oil Pressure warning light investigated. I was called by the service writer, Keagan, the afternoon of the day I dropped the car off to them. He stated that the brake booster was indeed bad and would be replaced at no charge, as discussed. He also stated that the oil pressure sensor/sending unit was working fine with no CEL or codes stored. He could not answer what the actual oil pressure was, because they only checked sensor function, but stated that it is now documented in case I had any further issues,Now, here is where it gets good... He then proceeds to explain that several maintenance items need repair: My front brake pads were a 3, my serpentine and drive belts were cracked and needed replacing, and that my engine air filter was dirty and needed replacing.I asked if he understood that I purchased that vehicle 3 months ago,

I purchased a used vehicle. I was told it had been completely checked out. After having the car for 6 days, it broke down on I-10 near Houston. They did not stand behind it. I had to call Ford Roadside Assistance. Vehicle was towed back to them because I was thinking they would stand behind it. They did NOT. I had to use my extended warranty. Thank goodness I had it. The service manager was the only employee that tried to help. I even left messages for the GM and of course he never even bothered to return the call. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone !!!! If I could leave negative stars I would.

Extremely disappointed that I had to contact Philpott Ford to check on my parts for my truck after 3 months. I guess they were not going to contact me. After 3 months they still do not have one part. I wonder if they will contact me when it comes in. I also got my 5,000 mile checkup done and when I went to pick up my vehicle, they wanted me to pay for it.That is Ford Motor Company’s fault. I should have had many points on my Ford Pass Rewards and they did not have any showing.The service people that I dealt with were very courteous and had someone transport me home while they had my vehicle and thanks to Adam Carter, I was able to get out without paying? He is a very good salesperson and extremely professional.Just went in for my 10,000 mile maintenance today and sat for 3 hours for a job that should have taken 30-45 minutes and my part is still not in after 5 months.Again this is Ford motor companies fault on the part and not Philpott’s.Thank goodness they have a salesman by the name of Adam Carter that is very professional and very helpful .I rate Adam a 5 star plus, however I rate the service department a 4 star.I am back this morning to get the recalled backup camera replaced. The service technician was very friendly and courteous and hallelujah Ford Pass Rewards finally gave me the points I was supposed to have when I purchased the vehicle.Again the thanks goes to Adam Carter, who called Ford and finally got this straightened out.Ford is a good product and Adam Carter with Philpott in Nederland is the best salesperson I have ever dealt with. I would certainly visit him if I was like ok’ing for a new Ford.Thursday 4/15/21went in to get the 15,000 mile checkup. Staff was very friendly, however it took almost 2 hours for a maintenance that should have taken no longer than 30 minutes This is why I have given the service department at Philpott only 3 starsPhilpott did a much better job with my 20,000 mile maintenance service. This time it only took an hour and 15 minutes to complete the work Hopefully next time will be even better

Ive purchased 5 vehicles in 5 years from this company, Ive had 2 repaired in their body shop. Body shop was expensive but satisfactory. Id have to say customer service is great when buying a vehicle, but use of my 3000 dollar extended warranty on my 250 was useless. The repair shop takes a life time. And when I finally got my truck back a month or more later the vacuum pump was loose and starting leaking oil. I will never use their mechanic shop again. I called and left them a message, because noone answered,, they never returned my call. I didnt try again. And the front end went full death wobble with 15k miles. Think Im about done with fords.

Made an appointment to get a warranty repair on my truck. When I arrived I was told the diesel mechanic had left for the day and they did not have another one. Was also informed that the online system should not have let me make an appointment that late in the day. The next available appointment is 10 days from now and I’m stuck with truck that doesn’t start half of the time. Throughout the conversation I was treated rudely and interrupted numerous times. Thoroughly disappointed with the customer service at this dealership’s service department. This is also not the first time I had an issue with an appointment made online. Other than warranty work I likely won’t be back to this dealership.

I Had a perfectly 2018 F150 but started thinking about lowering my note. I went online and started looking around. In about an hour the salesman called and we arranged a test drive in a Ranger. I thought it would ride like a small pickup but to my surprise it felt just as good as the 150. It handles great and I really enjoy driving it. And i did lower my note quite a bit. Really pleased with the truck and the dealership.

I will never buy or bring another vehicle back to this place! I’ve bought two vehicles from here and after the purchase the salesperson is exactly that, a salesperson! I had a warranty issue with the sunroof on my 2017 F-150 after dealing with tons of neglect I finally was able to bring my truck in to repair a “Warranty “ issue. I arrived to pick up my truck only to realize my headliner was damaged pretty bad and very noticeable. After a long process I was able to bring my truck back in to have the headliner replaced, a week later they called to tell me the truck was complete. I showed up to pick up my truck and the entire NEW headliner was pressed with BLACK greasy finger prints and numerous other issues which they wouldn’t take claim to. I would HIGHLY advise everyone to steer clear! Management will NOT return calls!

I started inquiring on Friday about a used car, no call back. I called on Saturday, no call back. I saw the car on car gurus I asked about info. I immediately got a response and text and said wow finally. Well the weekend passed Monday rolls around no call no email after I text the salesman(Brunson) and even called his office and wow once again no response. I finally called I was curious if there was any wiggle room since I was paying cash for the used car,I guess I wasn’t spending enough when I finally called and spoke to a salesman once I asked if it was negotiable for cash he wasn’t interested in speaking wow how professional. Totally loved the friendly downhome atmosphere. Shawn Gilstrap was amazing, not only as a salesman, but as a wonderful person to share our buying experience with. He and Brunson Ableson made me feel like my own sons were showing me the ropes to my new ride... It was just a FUN DAY with them.

I recently brought my 2001 Ford Mustang, to Service Dept., to address issue with Service Engine Light staying illuminated. The customer service was exceptional! Every person, from receptionist to General Manager, was very professional and genuinely seemed to care about their customers. The Service Department immediately located the problem and my car was in and out, in a timely manner. I was also pleasantly surprised, at the cost! The saleman, who was not new, knew little about his product or the process. The finance manager was unhelpful after mistakes were made by the dealership. The GM had to get involved to straighten things out. Long story short, my husband and I bought a 70k commercial truck somewhere else.

My husband and I spent 7 hours car shopping all over SETX yesterday. Our first stop was at Philpott Toyota; We didnt want to buy the first car we looked at, so we looked all day. After being pushed around, not listened to, we ended our day full of anxiety. We gave him a call and asked him to meet this morning.Justin at Philpot Toyota treated us with respect. Bought a used Ford Expedition from the dealership for a weekend vehicle. Purchased the best extended warranty we could purchase and specifically asked if it covered a/c and was told yes. About 1 1/2 months later the a/c the passenger starts blowing hot. I being the vehicle in and they say the part that went out is not covered under the warranty and will be approx. $550. After research I find the part retails anywhere from $30-70 and takes approx. less than an hour to do. When I call to ask them why they are charging so much they state their hourly service is a set price at $150, which is ridiculous. Even at $150 per hour, I dont understand why they are going to charge me so much and how ridiculous it is that I bought warranty from them that is suppose to cover A/C but apparently not the one thing that goes out on our vehicle. A couple calls to auto shops around the Golden Triangle and I am getting my vehicle fixed part and labor for $165.To top all that off when I spoke to the man in finance he kept referring to the fact that the car has 100,000 miles on it like we didnt already know and that was what we should have expected... which seemed odd to me because we bought the vehicle from his dealership... so what he was telling me is buying a used vehicle from there lot with that many miles is stupid on our part. Then when my fiance went to pick up the vehicle to take it somewhere else they commented on how clean and how great of shape the 100,000 mile vehicle was in.Ford Phillip lost two customers and I will not recommend them to family or friends in the future.

Service at Philpott is always good...it just cost you an arm and a leg to get out of there ...and they ALWAYS find about 2 or 3 thousand dollars of repairs they say you need other than what you went in for...but nice friendly people as far as the service...and the work that is done is good work the know what they are doing for sure...
