The 3 ladies up front need a lesson in customer service. I have never been treated so rudely. I made an appointment and had a text confirmation. When I arrived they told me I had no appointment. I showed them my confirmation text and they said they wouldnt make a mistake like that. They said maybe it was for another place. I told them this is the place that I spoke with and showed them on my phone.. They finally said well we can get you in. I went ahead and stayed. I really wish I would have went somewhere else. I dont like being treated so bad. They were very nasty and hateful. I am 6 months pregnant and I do not need the stress. I did not purchase glasses. I went somewhere else, where I was treated nice and with respect.

Have used this location twice over the past few years and both times have had great experiences from start to finish. Dr. Cora is great and the front staff are very helpful and pleasant to deal with. Found a great set of Ray-Ban frames that I love at a very reasonable price. Recommended.

Great experience. Havent had my eyes checked in 3 to 4 years and they helped me out. Diane really helped me find a good pair of sunglasses and daily glasses.

Much more impressed with the State Street location than I was with the Clarksville location. Friendly, helpful staff. Optometrist took time to ensure an accurate prescription and health and safety guidelines met and exceeded. My husband found the tech a little too eager to help, a little pushy when picking out frames. But in fairness, he has social anxiety and is easily overwhelmed. I thought he was just trying extra hard to be helpful. Overall, would recommend this location.

I took my nine year old for a check up based on a recommendation from school as she was having some headaches just before lunch. Turns out it was hunger because her eyes are good! The staff and optometrist were great. They treated her with care while following all current protocols. We were in and out in a pretty short amount of time and had everything taken care of! I would definitely recommend Visionworks for kids and adults alike!

I had the best experience here today. I used to think my annual eye exam and picking out glasses was such a headache at my old office. I had a completely different experience here though! Everyone was so knowledgeable and easy to work with. It was clean, spacious, organized and inviting inside. The technicians and optometrist were excellent. Special shout out to Eric specifically who explained my insurance coverage well about my contacts and helped me find my perfect pair of glasses. He is also the first person to ever adjust my glasses correctly to not hit my eyelashes. And he was pleasant and easy to talk to so it wasn’t awkward. I’m so glad I got a random flier in the mail and decided to switch. I’m very happy with my visit and will continue to go here in the future.

I had an amazing experience with Diane at the New Albany, IN location. It was absolutely the best visit I have ever had at a Visionworks office. She was so incredibly sweet and knowledgeable. I am incredibly picky about my glasses. Diane took the time to learn my style. She ultimately picked out a flattering pair of glasses that I never would have picked for myself, but I ended up absolutely falling in love with them. Thank you so much, Diane. This was my first visit to Visionworks in New Albany. It was such a great experience. First, they made me comfortable about all of the COVID-19 precautions they are taking. Everyone was masked, social distancing and the appointments were staggered so only 2 or 3 people were in the lobby or sales area at one time. Diane helped me pick out my new glasses and was so helpful and patient to answer all of my questions. The excellent service continues when I pick up my new glasses, they will bring them to my car! Ill recommend this location to everyone.

COVID-19 Guidelines have slowed the process of the eye exam and shopping for frames. However, the staff are very nice, professional and easy to work with. The turn around for my glasses was awesome, despite the restrictions.

With covid-19 going on etc, this Visionworks service is exceptional. They do everything possible not only to be complient, but their entire staff are extremely kind, calm and completely customer oriented. I cant recommend them highly enough.

There were at least four people who helped us during our visit, I cant remember everyones name, but they were all professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough. The one name I do remember is Diane. She was not only able to inform us on the various frames and features, she was also so nice and down-to-earth that I almost forgotten we were ordering glasses!

Still having trouble getting the prescription down for my contacts but the visits and staff are always nice and my Normal pair of glasses are amazing and they give you all the important details about your insurance and are very knowledgeable.

First pair of glasses had to go back to get fixed as I couldnt see with them as bi-focal line was in my field of vision while driving, they fixed that. But I still have to tilt my head down to see clearly to drive and as a result Ive gone back to wearing my old glasses... Next pair Ill have to pay out of pocket to get as my insurance will only pay for 1 pair a year, dont think Im going back to visionworks again.

I think that they did a very good job on my eyes now I kt at is wrong with my eyes.

I had a good experience. I made an appointment online for a Sunday after lunch. There was very few patients in the store at that time. The young guy who checked me in at the desk was professional. The young lady working beside him however was not real professional. She was on the phone with a patient and after the call she voiced her feelings in front of me in regards to that patient. Not really a big deal, just poor taste on the front lines, which was my reason for the 4 stars. The lady who checked my eyes was very nice and prompt. The Dr was very friendly and helpful. The lady who helped me find my frames was very warm and she put my mind at ease in regards to my needing glasses. My appointment was quick, I spent about what I thought I would in regards to money, the facility was clean and bright, and there was zero issues with parking. I recommend visiting this office.

Not bad, they were even accepting of my service dog, . Me and my husband both were there, me being diabetic my sugar was high and my service dog was doing some whining due to my husband had to be away from me some, but i apologize to them they said its fine and even talked about how cute and well behaved she was, i did explain when apologizing for her actions they were completely understanding especially when she was trying to get there attention on my behalf to help me. Very nice, and understanding people. I will be going back as needed forsure.

Besides the wonderful staff who goes out of their way to insure a pleasant visit and that you get exactly what you need/want, the doctors are awesome! Very good with kids and listens to you. My 11 year old daughter has to wear glasses and I cant imagine taking her anywhere else. I cant speak for the other Visionworks locations, though l have no doubt theyre great too, but the one in New Albany on State Street is the only place Ill take my daughter for her vision.

Fast, friendly, and great selection. My son and I made our very first trip to the eye doctor here and it couldnt have gone better. The staff were professional, very helpful, and made us very comfortable through every step. Everyone made us very aware of what was and wasnt covered on our insurance so we knew exactly what we were getting ourselves into which was very helpful. The doctor was friendly, funny, and very laid back. I will definitely be going back for next years visit. My son and I are both pleased with our new glasses and can finally see the world like we should have been all along!

I went here as a walk-in customer, on a Monday afternoon, and had a great experience. The staff here was very friendly, informative, helpful, and educated. They have this new state of the art machine, that looks at the back of your retina and it can tell if you are predisposed to certain diseases, and help treat such things prophylactic. I walked-in around 2:30pm, and was finished with my part of the visit by 3-3:15pm. They have a wonderful selection of frames, and they can even do prescription sunglasses,..... and if you choose from what they have there, then they generally have the lenses in the back for them. I had my glasses by 5pm, the same day. So they get you through pretty quickly, even if you don’t have an appointment. And they were all so very nice along the way.

I bought glasses at Visionworks on State Street in New Albany IN at a time when they had buy one get one. I bought a pair of glasses and a pair of sunglasses. The glasses were fine, however the vision for the sun glasses was distorted. The first person I talked to told me to wear the glasses for a while and they should be fine. The second time I went in to get the problem corrected they told me the lenses were a little large and that was the problem without any remedy. When I bought the glasses the sales person didn’t say there may be a problem. This seems to be a dishonest business as no one wants to make my second pair of glasses right. I will never use them again or recommend anyone else use this company.

My boy friend and I have both used vision works multiple times in the last two years. We went in on Christmas Eve and they were the BIGGEST help. All smiles. I love the staff at this location. I highly recommend them

They were all very nice, but didnt tell me the truth. My old lens fell out and I cant see very well and they said I would get my new glasses in 7-10 days and now they are saying it will be 14 days. I just wish they had told me how long it would be when I bought my glasses. It is always best to tell the customer the truth in the beginning. I hate going through Thanksgiving weekend and not being able to see.

Ive seen Dr. Cora for many years. Hes very kind and a professional. I was seen quickly and it looked very organized. I was greeted and helped immediately when it was time to look for my glasses.

The first time I visited this location I had a good experience however Im not sure what has happened since but I will be taking my business back to Dr. Blacks in Jeffersonville. I chose to move to Visionworks because it is closer to my job but I would rather inconvenience myself a little and be satisfied vs. how I have left the past two times. Yes - two times. Saturday I had a 10:45am appointment ..... I finally told them I would have to reschedule because it was NOON and I still had not seen the doctor. I rescheduled for 4 days later...same time... 10:45am. Check in process was fine - Dr. was fine - check out process... YIKES! (there were only 2 of us customers in the store by the way) I left there for the second time aggravated, annoyed and trying to keep my cool because it took 3 people 45 minutes to determine how to use the computer system. Ive never wrote a review and dont plan to again but feel as though people should be warned when making appointments here and anticipating doing anything else the rest of the day.

I was convinced to get 2 pairs of glasses for $89 1st pair was great. The second pair is not the same strength.Now I have a pair of glasses I cant use. I dont know how this could have happened. But honestly they assured me when the second came in they would call. They never did. When I called to check on glasses they told me they were in. Im thinking they probably gave me the display pair of glasses nonetheless I just want issue to be corrected

Visionworks in New Albany was very good. I was there today getting an eye exam and new glasses. Dr B was thorough and seemed knowledgeable. The lady helping me with my frames and prescription was extremely helpful and knew what she was doing. I especially appreciate her giving me the exact cost as I was deciding which frames to buy, my insurance coverage etc. I will definitely go there in the future!

Rock stars here folks...good doc...who took time to ezain things to a simpleton such as myself. Staff super great and helpful with opinions of my glasses choices. I had a tournament with 256 pairs of glasses and I eliminated the. Down to the elite 8...the nice guy with glasses who name escapes me now and his tag team partner Cheryl with C, were awesome. So 2 of three of us picked my winner. a gr8 pair of Perry Ellis....extensive understanding of insurance and how to best use, not at all pushy...oh I left 26 bucks in the store and they called and has it waiting for me 30 minutes later when I returned. Solid team. Oh turnaround superquick too. Pick pair at 430 on Tuesday and picked up by 1130 Wednesday.

The doctor surprised me, he talked to me, for a while. Im so use to the 15 second appointment at other places that I was completely surprised. I got a great exam and the office personnel were equally great. Walked me through what I could expect from my insurance and I only need readers. Got a great pair for what I would pay for a crappy drug store rack pair. Very happy.

The doctor was good he told me a lot! The regular staff however are rude. Before picking my glasses up on Labor Day I called to see if they were open. When I left my wife told me that the staff were making fun of people who were calling to see if they were open. The woman that was giving me my new glasses seemed very uninterested in her job while cleaning them. Wont be back to this one and the doctor told me its better to see a regular optometrist anyway so you dont get varying opinions.

Staff is very friendly and dr was informative. Didnt seem bothered by my questions. However, be prepared to wait. I got there at 5:40 (had a sch appt) and didnt leave until after 7. Much of that time was waiting!

I came in their half blind and with one contact. The perscription for my trial contacts were out of stock. I came in there two hours before they closed and they did everything to get me my glasses today so I didnt have to drive home half blind. They were supposed to close at 630 but handed me my glasses at 6:45. Thank you to the VisionWorks staff!!!

If there were a zero rating, i would give that.I had an appointment for myself and my daughter. I wasnt seen until 45 minutes past the appointment time. The only friendly person was the doctor. After we were seen, it took almost another hour until anyone checked us out for our glasses. The girl that finally came to help us had no clue what she was doing, was not the friendliest either. . I also got contacts and in previous experience have left with contacts in hand, the girl didnt even attempt to check for my prescription but instead was in such a hurry to get us out, i have to wait to pick them up with my glasses. The worst part is my self and 2 other people were the only ones in the store, with 4 or 5 people there working, none willing to move from behind the desk to acknowledge us. I believe it is time to find a new optometrist, because I will surly not go back there.

I always have a good experience here. However, a young girl with long red hair at the front desk was obviously in a HORRIBLE mood and had a major attitude. She was throwing things around and was very unpleasant and unprofessional. It looks like she may be new, so I hope she realizes how it looks.

This last visit was uncalled for .I didnt even get a chance to fill out my paperwork and they were already calling me back I saw the doctor .they said they were going to put drops in my eyes and they didnt .he just sent me out and said I could look for some 69.95 glasses .come to find out it has to be 5 years because I am on Medicaid. it goes to show you how they treat people that are onMedicaid different from others.

My fiancé went here for an eye exam and glasses. He saw Dr. Cora and had glasses made, but there was an issue with the prescription. . So he went back and saw Dr. Stanis who was more thorough and discovered that the original prescription was wrong. So they remade his glasses and when we went to get them, they were still wrong. The issue was reported to the general manager who spoke with the lab supervisor, and the issue was resolved. When we went to pick up his glasses the last time, we spoke with the manager and he was very friendly and glad to have been able to resolve the issue. He even checked the prescription in my glasses which I didnt even buy from there, cleaned them, and told me if I ever needed them cleaned or repaired to bring them in. It seemed at first like the experience here was going to be bad, but their customer service definitely resolved the issue and turned us into returning customers.

While traveling, my fiancés glasses were bent out of shape and a screw came loose. We were worried the glasses wouldnt make the trip. We stopped in and they fixed the glasses right up! She answered every question very quickly and informatively.This location has an Optomap device that can perform the eye health examination without dilation.The front staff were very friendly and patient as well! I cant recommend this place more highly.
