Best pawn I ever went to they get to know you and understand difficult times

Was trying to sell some of my old tools and the man I spoke with, while polite, tried to get me to sell my tools directly to him. I do not remember the mans name, he had longer hair, dirty blond in color, and was approximately 5 ft 9 in. I am not sure why this occurred, but I kept my items and left the location, and I will not be going back to the pawn shop ever again.

Great place to bargain and buy things and also pawn. If you become a regular face they really are nice people and are understanding and helpful! I won’t ever go to a different store unless I move out of state!

Called there 2 times both times hung up on father left an expensive watch collection I want to be rid of..screw these guys

VERY neat and organized shop with great prices on everyday and hard to find items! Some things are used, some are new. All reasonably priced!Ive traveled across country and been in some fairly dark and dirty pawn shops... this place is NOTHING like that!The staff also make this place stand apart from other shops. They are always there to help answer your questions, demonstrate how things work, and even load your item(s) into your car!Im definitely a happy and repeat customer! Highly recommend this place!!

I am a pawn shop junkie and this is by far the best pawnshop I have ever discovered in North Carolina.First of all, the selection is amazing. They have so much inventory it is hard not to find something that you have to buy!The staff is super friendly and easy to talk to. And they are always willing to discuss the price!If you are passing through new Bern on highway 70 Town Pawn is absolutely worth a stop!

Extremely Fair and Professional-I had just a left another pawn shop about an hour earlier insulted by the ridiculously low offer made on the gold that I had to sell, so I decided to stop and give these guys a chance.I can tell you I was not disappointed in the slightest. They even stayed open a little later to help me. I researched that days gold rate online so I know they gave me a very competitive price.Rich was extremely helpful in answering all my questions.Little places like these make my move from California a little more bearable.Thanks Guys!!! ;)

The owner was very unprofessional & frankly incorrect when assessing our jewelry. We went further up to East 70 Pawn & they purchased it w/ no hesitation. Avoid this amateur operated shop.

I have been doing business with these guys for some time now and they are always fair priced whether or not you are buying or selling. The car audio side of the business is very well stocked woth alot well named merchandise. The people that work in the car audio side are very professional and knowledgeable about car audio service and installation. I recommend Town and Pawn to anyone who wants good prices and good quality.

After finishing my purchase I honestly felt like I was Gypped. A lot of things I seen as far as the Car Audio side. I could’ve gotten the exact same things that I bought from them (which were brand new) from where they order it for under half the price. I cannot take away from their customer service as a whole, but I paid almost triple. Glad I got what I wanted, extremely disappointed in the marketing.

Great place deal with them all the time solid selection of electronics music equipment and jewelry. This is the only shop I deal with in town they are as professional as it comes couldnt ask for much more 5out of 5 stars Im leaving this review because they deserve it best in the buisness around here check it out trust my judgement.

Not much of a selection...but we still managed to find two fishing rigs. They said that all prices are negotiable, and we negotiated what I thought was a fair price for what we got.

They have this weird lock on their door that they use to buzz you in with. Sorry, if I pull on a door and it doesnt open, you are closed. Even if you come out and tell me you are open, Im not going in.

Very clean and great selection of items, no junk, you can tell the owner takes pride in his business good prices on most of the stuff, some stuff is a bit over priced in my opinion, you wont find a cleaner well stocked and organized pawn shop in new bern.
