Amausaan Uji Matcha has a wide variety of matcha dessert and drinks. If you can imagine it they probably have a matcha version. Delicious Matcha on everything.

Super cute and super pink! The staff are kind and the food is pretty and tasty. Theres lots of matcha flavored snacks if youre looking for those :)

The desserts were to die for! We got the matcha crepe cake and matcha shaved ice with azuki beans and mandarin orange.

The new Amausaan franchises in Newark is opening now! This store feels like in Japan, so pinky and so cute! all the environment reminds me Japan. All the matcha dessert are as great as usual. They are lunched new items like SAKURA-pinky soft sever, if you need something else beside matcha series, then this is the one you might try out.

They have cute food that is delicious and the store is really well decorated. It will be a great place for a date, or special outing once things get better!

They really went all out with the theme 🐰 Decorations are super well done and the taiyaki cone is perfect. Gotta try the hojicha!

Cute place. But I ordered the uji ice shave mochi. Problem? Made without syrup on the ice. It was completely dry. They very kindly remade it but it was not good and they tried to tell me there was condensed milk and syrup. Nope. Ice was too hard to even chip at. But very kind to remake it.

Hochija, Matcha Haven! Black cone is bomb, taiyakis are awesome! Great service, too. Really like the drinks, ice cream and soft serve. But, not a fan of Matcha Spongy Cake! For sure,one of my favorite Newark/Fremont Dessert place. Be back for sure.

Agreed that the quality demands premium why everything tasted natural without any chemical aftertaste. The swirl combination between matcha and hojicha was brilliant! I thoroughly enjoy these flavors and would be curious to try other items on the menu when I’m back in the area, esp w the warmer weather of spring coming up! Interior is super cute and obv took a lot of consideration to piece together!!

The staff is very friendly and helpful when deciding what sweet treat you might like. Its open during covid times. They wear mask at all times and gloves when they serve you food. They offer credit payment if you dont want to deal with cash. Id highly recommend this place if you like matcha or are having sweet to not so sweet cravings.

The matcha flavor is nice and heavy and not too sweet. The other little treats are all good and add nicely to the mouth feel.

I truly enjoy going to this place to get some Japanese matcha fix. The decoration looks cute and reminds me of sakura season in Japan. The price is a bit on the higher side, but its worth it. Its definitely not somewhere you want to go every day, but good if you want to go once in a while.For ordering the latte, you can get it bottled and sealed, so that it lasts longer. The cool thing is they bottle and seal on the spot, so you know you get a fresh batch. Loving the details.I also tried their ice cream, and the toppings are basically variety of Japanese sweets. So delicious. Ive gone twice so far, but I know for sure Ill come back for more.

Came in with high expectation but the actual product looks quite different from the menu. Personaly I think another chain Matcha Cafe Maiko did better. (Also has better price.)

Beautiful place, though you can tell they charge for the novelty. Prices were above average, portions looked kinda small.

They are so cute that’s the only one place which I know offer Japanese afternoon tea wish they can reopen the Seating area sooner

Had the matcha latte and the matcha crepe cake! Both were delicious and good quality. The store associate was professional and sweet. The decor is super cute!

The Matcha ice cream is so perfectly earthy, creamy and sweet. The lady at the counter was very sweet and decor is adorable.
