Nice little Cafe, good and unusually inexpensive food (for the location). However, be worn! if you are (like myself) not white and dont leave in the multy million dollars neighborhood, people will be looking at you and probably judge you. It made me uncomfortable.

The chili cheese omelets are excellent and prepared consistently as Ive visited this restaurant many times in previous years. The quality of the food never changes; which is something to look forward to each time I visit. The chili and cheese are mixed inside the omelet, which makes it memorable. The hashbrowns are fresh and the way they are prepared makes them stand out far and above other restaurants. Staff are friendly. The restaurant is small and feels cozy in what is normally a very busy and bustling metropolitan area. The restaurant is within sight of a marina on the ocean so there is always a nice view while eating. One thing to note, you will often find a line to get in due to the popularity.

Great local eatery. Someone needs to know about this place and recommend it to you. We were vacationing in Balboa Island and heard about it from locals. Definitely the place to go eat for breakfast. Great menu. great prices, and easy parking at the end of Harbor Island Drive. Terrific prices and breakfast items. I had the two eggs over, hash browns, and bacon. My wife also had eggs and toast. You can always find other nice people to mingle and chat with there. It is small seating in booths limited and a long counter. We squeezed in at the long counter. Used to have outside park benches to eat at--removed due to Covid19. Enjoy good home cooking and terrific service. Highly recommend this place.

This place is very popular and busy. Wonderful staff. Super friendly and attentive. Id give 5 stars for service. Taste and authenticity Id give a 2. Youd be guillotined for serving these breads, and pastries in France. Quality/taste is supermarket grade at best, and doesnt tadte scratch baked. Almost like its made with commercial frozen dough. ( or just a bad recipe) If youre looking for a local friendly joint for coffee etc. Its great. If youre a foodie, look elsewhere.

Disappointing. Staff was rude from the moment we checked in. Pancakes were rubbery. Hamburger patties were frozen. Portions were small. The fries were overcooked (time to change the dirty fry oil). You will find better food at Denny’s...McDonald’s serves a better breakfast. Seriously, how can you serve an English muffin as hard as a hockey puck?A member of our party spilled a drink and we were offered 3 napkins to clean up the mess. Really?Plan on reusing your straws when you get a refill.I can go on but it’s doesn’t get any better. The restaurant is located amongst the yachts in New Port. Maybe the owners would do better as bait shop.

Always good food and coffee and a great place to just meet up with friends or family or get some time alone to read the news paper (or boat classifieds). If your alone, feel free to skip the line and check for a seat at the bar. Friendly service and a staple of Newport Beach.

The Gallery Cafe is an extremely busy place especially around lunch time. Its the only restaurant around its area. Its rated High because the food is good the service is excellent and the ambience is very quaint and cute. Its set up a lot like a 50s Cafe on the inside but looks a little bit like a fishermans Shack on the outside. Chicken breast sandwich and my brother had the chili cheese burger both were well-cooked and delicious. I think you would enjoy this restaurant if your out and about in Newport.
