This is my favorite place to get my hair cut; everytime I leave I am happy with my experience. I have only had my hair cut by Carm and she does an awesome job and really goes above and beyond to get it the way I want it to look. The vibe of the shop is great, Carm and Norm are fun to have a conversation with and it really adds to the experience. I would highly recommend this barber and I look forward to going back!

Amazing place!! Hero is a true barber shop from a bygone era when service really mattered. They’ve got it all on tap with hot towel treatment, incredible cuts, straight razor shaves, advanced grooming tips, amazing product w/deep product knowledge and the whole bit. Expertise and attention to detail live at HERO. Norm is the only one I allow to touch my hair and beard, and he’s a true master of the follicles. Carm is super amazing too!!! If you want a killer fade, a fantastic undercut, a solid taper, a regular everyday trim, or a total redo — especially if you’re hunting for a superior beard shaping — and you haven’t gone in to check out HERO yet, you’re SERIOUSLY missing out. I just dropped by this place as a last resort since Im not from the area. Only bad part about this is the fact Im moving over an hour away and now Ill have to travel biweekly for a cut since Norm is that good. I never post reviews for anything unless theyre absolutely awful, but this place deserves the few moments to add. Clean, fast and friendly. Id recommend to anyone.

HERO is a gem. Norm did an excellent job shaping and lining up my beard. He’s also super conversational and knowledgeable. I definitely learned a thing or two. They also have a great selection of shave-related accessories, and you can play chess and drink beverages while waiting. I highly recommend.

This was my first time going to Hero. Wow! What an experience! Carmen was awesome! My beard has never looked so good! Ill definitely be going back when this chia pet of a beard grows out again!

I just had the best beard trim and grooming ever from Norm. You can tell he is passionate about his profession. He’s extremely meticulous; it wouldn’t be overstating it to call him a perfectionist. Norm has a wealth of information and introduced me to some new grooming techniques for my beard and mustache that I wouldn’t have come up with on my own.I’ve always felt one of the most important relationships is the one you have with your barber, if you have the good fortune to actually find one who is excellent and rises above the vast sea of “average“. Norm is a real find.

Fantastic haircut, knowledgeable personnel, and great ambiance. They pride themselves on getting to know the customer before the haircut and pratice the lost art of the straight razor trim up. Nothing beats the feel of a hot towel on your neck after your haircut! Well worth the price.

I have had my hair cut by Steve two consecutive times now. Both times I received an outstanding cut, with exquisite attention to detail. Steve is clearly very knowledgeable and experienced with respect to the craft of traditional barbering. If this is the type of experience youre looking for, I recommend giving them a try.

I used get to my hair cut and beard trimmed by Chad but he has moved on. Today was my first visit with Steve, the new barber. I was impressed. He took his time and has extreme attention to detail. I am really happy with my service and look forward to coming back!

HERO wasnt open the last time I lived in the Valley, but now that Ive moved back Im really happy its here. I met Chris and Ryan; they were both extremely nice, welcoming and hospitable. I was in and out in less than a half-hour, and I will be going back in the future. I highly recommend it.

This place is Awesome. All your masculine needs to look good, feel good,and smell good. Great vibe, People are friendlllllyyyy. The barber does a great job in both hair and beard cuts. 15yrs experience in cutting hair; if your looking for grooming needs like beard balm especially if you have sensitive skin than Hero is the place to go. They have different kinds of beard balm for different types of beards and skin types. Great smelling after shaves,colognes that are just the right amount of strength in the scent department.

I used to frequent a salon in town for my haircuts but wanted to find a more affordable option without sacrificing the quality of the cut. HERO has been great. Pleasant atmosphere, friendly and experienced barbers, nice cut, and a nice price!

I had really long hair, came in to get a fade and ended up getting all of my long hair cut off at the top which I didnt want. Super nice guy but does not know how to cut long hair. Plus, a regular haircut here costs $26. Never coming back here again.

This is a great place to relax and get a haircut. I made an appointment last week for a shave and a haircut, and I was more than please with the service and result.Chad was my barber, and he has an excellent feel for what you need. He doesnt do meaningless small talk, but actually gets to know you.Straight to the point, my hair is looking damn good, and I left Hero feeling like one haha. I recommend this to any other man trying to find the real experience. Its worth the cost.I have had nothing but compliments all week.

The owner of the shop helped me with all my questions, even going so far as to demonstrate various products and recommend helpful websites. Not only that but he didnt try to upsell me, which he easily couldve done. Ill definitely be coming back for my shaving needs.

Every time I have come to this shop I have had a different barber. Today I tried to make an appointment and they have no barbers on staff.While every barber I’ve had has been very talented, this tells me the employees are not being treated well. It’s time for the owners to look in the mirror and ask themselves what they can do to attract and retain their employees. If you treat one of these talented people well the city will line up out the door for you!RE: Norms reply - Norm, I know you treat your employees poorly because I have spoken with barbers at other shops about your business, and you are known for your high turnover rate. Ask yourself why that is. You guys also disclosed sensitive details to me about one of your employees departures that violated their personal privacy.
