Picked up a birthday cake from the bakery. Wasnt exactly what we ordered, but it tasted great.

One of the young men that works there walked passed me and rudely said to me you know theres a speed limit in the parking lot, when I was coming in I was driving just the amount I need to be, it was completely uncalled for and if I new the young mans name Id of called and had him reprimanded. Other than that everyone is so nice and I absolutely love this store.

I understand its hot out side honestly. MANAGER!!!!When your employees are sweeting their brains out and customers are complaing its too hot your respone is I dont care.. its set at 77. Im quite disquested in her lack of professionalizm and empathy.. There was a 7 year old boy beat red and the elderly were struggling. NOT COOL.Manager!!!

Ive been shopping here 7 years and they are awesome. The store and staff just get better and better. Recently I was $5 short and an employee paid it. There produce is always fresh and they have so much cheese! The prices are the best in town. The only negative thing I can say is they dont have frozen spinach or crystal light. I love this store!

Worst grocery outlet I’ve ever been to the manager and owner are unprofessional they don’t know how to handle situations professional and were extremely rude. Come here if you want to be treated badly. So terrible!

Another good store in Oakdale.

I shop Grocery Outlet in Oakdale frequently . Most of the staff are friendly and helpful. I find good bargains on some things..pays to know your prices tho.And always check the expiration dates..many things are expired.I am shocked at their lack of safeguards for protecting their customers and also their employees. The carts are put back for use from the parking lot with no sanitizing..and there are no wipes to sanitize them yourself. I see no sanitizing of checkout areas or of surfaces in store frequently touched. The employees have no shields to protect them when checking out customers..and until this week did not wear masks. Even Costless has very good sanitizing measures for customers and employees. The carts are wiped and then given to customers. All the other grocery stores in town and in Modesto that I have shopped are extremely good at protecting customers and employees from the virus. I worry about the people working there.

Grocery outlet in Oakdale is where I do most of my shopping. They dont always have everything, but the have the best deals and I can plan my meals around what is available. Produce and fruit are not great and fairly expensive but will do in a pinch.

The staff is great. Theres some really good deals but, no catsup?? Weird. Needless to say, I came out with two bags of stuff minus the one things I needed. Catsup!! 😄

Today after being a loyal customer of Grocery Outlet since 1977 in the 3 states I have resided in I am NO MORE. Due to the action or more correctly, lack there of, from the Oakdale CA store owner, Tami this afternoon. For NOT wearing a mask over her nose as mandated by the State of California and signage as you enter her store?. Not complying when requested to do so politely, shows complete disrespect or concern for her employees (lack of leadership) and (compromised) customers. Tammy has one less household shopping there now!

Great prices, very friendly and helpful staff. Some use by dates are close so watch for that and dont buy more than you can use before expiration. Good quality beauty products etc. Many vegan products. This store doesnt have everything but everything it has is of good quality and great prices.

I wish I could give -5 star for this store, I was shopping there and they didnt let 8 month pregnant woman use the restroom and said go to pizza place next door and use thire restroom. Never shop there again I will spend money somewhere that they value their customers.

Sorry for the rant. I do like the place but a company that wont close on New Years day lacks awareness to the needs of employees. Some business like WALMART OR TARGET have come to understand the importance of family first is ok instead of 24/7 profit chasing. A couple times a year close your doors, for a holiday. Its really not asking that much and in the grand scheme how much does it effect your bottom line with operational overhead factored in? Store moral would benefit and in turn it creates a healthier work environment. Food for thought. Pun intended.Take care and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

Nice place, keep forgetting its in the same shopping center as cost less. Friendly staff very neat and clean. Wish we got their advertising in our area to see whats on sale. But we do go there when we go grocery shopping in that center and always find something.

This store never gets old. I love this store so much my husband doesnt even want me to go here alone because I cant help myself and will have 2 carts full. The money you save is absolutely astonishing and you find things you wont find anywhere else.

Oblivious to the COVID-19 PandemicI was appalled when I come into your store today and noticed there was literally no attempt at creating a safe environment for your employees or your customers. None of your employees wore face masks and there were no reminders for customers to maintain social distancing.Granted Oakdale has not been hit hard by this pandemic, but the lack of concern on behalf your employees and customers is appalling. This pandemic is not over. Cases are doubling every 19 days. As of today, June 14, 2020, our county has had 1,212 active cases of COVID-19 of which 102 are active.You should be ashamed of yourself. You just lost a customer. We will NEVER set foot in your store again!

I stop in here whenever I take the highway home.I like some of their obscure treats in the cookies, ice cream, frozen food, and beverages.Prices usually very good. Hard to keep prices competitive with the large chain stores. They do quite well here. Ice is cheaper too.

Grocery outlet is always a fun shopping experience for me because I never know what new products Ill discover and what Ill end up taking home. I saw a wall of sake bomb kits when I first walked in and I knew it was going to be a fun time.Get over the ghetto looks and occasional weird smell and you will start to enjoy it too!Checking out is probably the worst part. Staff are usually friendly but can sometimes be slow.

This store was packed full of great deals!!! With a large family, our grocery carts are always packed full every time we shop. This was the first Grocery Outlet we visited where we saved nearly one and a half times what we spent!! Worth the drive!

My favorite grocery store, but they smash your fruit. Esp your aging already bruised fruit. The young mexican guy put a box of cans on top of my bananas. Why would someone put bananas in the bottom of the bag and put canned food on top? But they have great selection!

Love this place. Inventory is erratic but prices are great on most items. I usually shop the Oakdale store and get anything they have that I need before hitting the regular grocer and by my guestimate save 10-20 percent overall.
