Was looking online to buy a complete stereo system for our 72 cougar and came across this site. Went through the products compatible for our car but none were in stock so I phoned and spoke with Melissa (Im pretty sure that was her name) who went above and beyond to piece together a system that would work in our car and shipping was amazingly fast. My hubby was more than pleased to get his Christmas present. Ill update in the spring once hubby get the system installed. So far very happy...

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! While I dont make it a point to write reviews, I do read them quite often and hopefully others will read this.Recently a family member was kind enough to gift me a radio for my classic car, something Id been wanting for years. The radio that was purchased ended up not working for my application, I would need to buy a unit at twice the price.I inquired about exchanging my radio and paying the additional cost. I was told I would need the original purchaser to make the return, pay return shipping, and pay a restocking fee!While I completely understand paying return shipping Im not about to trouble my family member with this issue and there is no way Im going to pay a restocking fee for the privilege of giving this company more money.Thankfully, there are other companies selling vintage audio who appear to have MUCH better customer service.ClassicCarStereos has an abysmal review rating and this is why. I made a very simple request, I tried doing business with this company. Instead theyve lost another customer, theyve gained another bad review, and their competitors have gained another fan.

Originally submitted a review with a substandard rating. I was frustrated due to a lack of communication and follow up from the company on multiple attempts to contact them and had yet to receive a response. Also was concerned about build quality of an item I received. Received a follow up call from ClassicCarStereos.com today and allowed me to voice my concerns on communication and help resolve my quality control issue. I appreciated that. I have since fixed the problem on my own and no need for a new piece. Thank you for listening, following up with me and offering solutions!

They charge your card without telling you items are back ordered or telling you that shipping will be delayed. Rude and unprofessional support.They obviously dont know how to keep stock up to date on their website, or they dont care and they just want to bank as much money as possible on the spot without telling you its backordered unless you ask. Very shady.

Order placed but it didnt show on the site that items are out of stock.. until I made a call to check why the order was left on pending and the guy on the phone said that it was out of stock and heard that there will be some coming soon.... Its been about a week now, and no news or anything for my order. I was too quick to purchase and forgot to check the reviews. I hope I get my refund back. Will make sure to look at the websites carefully before doing any quick purchases. I put one star because the site doesnt tell you that the items are out of stock until you give them a call which I wouldnt dare purchase a thing on here if items are out of stock, wasnt able to read customer reviews on their site as well. Site is not legit. Id say scammed as well. I dont like to wait on out of stock items.... Wish that was put there out of stock items and the customers rating on their site. Stay away from this SCAM!

Radio went out in my 1969 f250 so I ordered their bluetooth stereo for 1967-1972 Ford trucks. Looks like it belongs in the truck and sounds like a more modern stereo. Got it quick and easy

Radio was shipped fast and received it before expected they even honored the black Friday sale price even tho I ordered it a few weeks before !! I havent installed it yet but sooo far so good will update if any problems after installation

It was worth the wait, took 6 weeks to get but its understandable these days during the pandemic. Kick panels fitted perfect in 71 cutlass.

I ordered a complete system for my 64 cadillac. The wiring kit that was sent with the system was completely wrong. The amp and stereo are both 5 channel and the kit only had 2 dubble rca cables, so I had to order another one. The biggest issue is they sent the main power wires that were 8 gauge and the amp required 4 gauge wire. When I emailed them about it I was told that it would be fine to us the wires that came with the kit. I asked if they would be taking responsibility for any damage caused by using the wrong wiring kit on my car. I was told that if anything happened in could contact the owner... Needless to say Im not going to risk my 55 year old car on a the wiring kit will work just fine statement. So after spending a bit over $1200 for a complete system, I got to go purchase another $120 in wires. So if you care about you car this probably isnt the place to buy a stereo.

Should have read the reviews first. Ordered a couple of things that said were in stock and chose expedited shipping since I needed them in about a week. Received a call a few hours later stating that the items werent actually in stock and that it would be well over a week to even fill the order. I asked them to cancel the order. Now, I wait for them to refund my card so I can place the order at Danchuk. I called them and they verified that they do, indeed, have those items in stock and can have them shipped to me in less than a week. Should have known better.The only reason for the two stars is because they actually called me to tell me that they didnt actually have anything I ordered in stock.

Great company to work with. They are quick to respond to your questions and concerns. They listen to their customers and stand behind the products they sell, even when the manufacturer does not.

Will not refund my money on a part that is available on the website but is not being made anymore. I have waited over a week and half and no answer threw multiple emails. Stay away from this SCAM company.

I placed an order on Oct 12th, that read IN-STOCK on the website, and after 2 weeks of hearing nothing, l emailed multiple times, no reply, so l live chatted, and got a reply of, Item not in stock, available mid Dec. Horrible. At least a reply or heads up of what was going on. The customer service was very helpful and refunded my account promptly. But overall, horrible place to buy from. Will not do business with them again.

BUYER BEWARE!!! I couldnt have had a worse experience with a business. I was treated like dirt from start to finish; They screwed up my order, lied to me, and then made me pay a restocking fee. This business lacks integrity and humanity!

This place is terrible. Do not order from them. They sent me the wrong stereo and I have tried 4 or 5 times to get a hold of them for a return and refund. Still no answer or call back. Do not buy anything from them, there are plenty of other sites out there with the stereo you need with much better service.

My mom and I found this site and ordered a radio for my Grandpas Birthday. It looked so great in his classic ford truck ! My Grandpa couldnt have been happier. Not to mention the Customer Service was great and the shipping was super fast.

This company is a joke that lists an item at one price then does the bait and switch only to tell you the price is actually $200 more then the advertised price, when this is brought the attention of customer service agent they become rude and complacent. Do not do business with a company like this
