I am from the CT/NY area up until 9 years ago. This is the closest thing I can say that gives me a little taste of home. Its hard to find pizza and bagels close to NYC on the west coast. So all you east coast transplants should give this a try- you wont be sorry. Oh and their shmear is delicious.

Not a pleasant experience and all due to the employee who cashed me out, the young lady who helped me choose my bagels was friendly and helpful. I explained to her on my app that I receive a FREE coffee with purchase she said : no problem Ill help you at the register with that. Another employee walked up as I waited at the register and rang up my bagels I told her I have a FREE coffee as well, she was in a hurry and seemed frustrated about something even when she first walked up. I was digging for my wallet and didnt think about (I Usually scan my phone for my points or add my phone number) and she never asked me anything about points) After I left I realizedShe charged me for my FREE coffee and I never received my pointsShe made it a NOT so pleasant experience.

Good variety of Bagels from breakfast to lunch, I tried the cinnamon sugar Bagel it was pretty good they also put a lot of cream cheese in the bagel (wich is a plus if you love cream cheese) good atmosphere, indoor and outdoor dining. Parking, restrooms,included.

So, I like Einstein Bagels. My boyfriend and I like a few sandwiches and their pizza 🥯 bagels. The garden veggie spread is amazing. Unfortunately I made an order online through the app to ensure I got my food ontime as I was on a lunch break. When I went in after the 10 minutes it said it would take, I was told they were out of my bagel of choice. I was fine with them changing the option to another available bagel. After another 5 minutes waiting I had another person come to me and say they didnt have any pizza sauce now. They offered to make me a different item, but I really didnt want to wait for anything else to be made. They refunded me. I had to head through a nearby drive through for alternate breakfast as my time was running out at that time. This was my second time in a row with issues. Hopefully they can figure it out. I love going to this location generally and Ill write it off as a one off situation.

Clean, quality, reasonably quick service. I got the turkey sausage and cheddar bagel. It was quite good. If you dont get an everything bagel I assume you are some sort of monk?

Got the Lox for the 3rd try.. disappointed as usual compared to other bagel spots. To much cream cheese one onion slice and small pieces of lox on top. No side of lemon or pickle like other spots. Also the bagel was to soft.. I worked at the Encinitas Einstein bagels years ago it was never this bad. Look for a mom and pop bagel spot for your Lox it will be much better.

Been to several Einstein bagels and they are the best!Theyre bagels are fresh, the breakfast delicious and filling.

Well, if a bagel store doesnt have bagels, whats the point.I went in at 11:40 AM to buy a dozen. They are open until 2.No everything, no poppy, no onion and out of many others. only plain and specialty left. When I asked if they would be baking more, the answer was no, its too late in the day. I said this is how you lose customers - the answer okay. I said I would be writing a bad review online - the answwr was okay.Okay - here it is - dont go to this store if you want bagels.

Thank you for being lovely people with awesome bagels...just left, right before they were closing, with a pretzel bagel and an everything bagel. Both were delicious and it was so nice to be treated like a special customer! Many thanks!!!

Just like last year, she was SO great to work with.... and even custom created a special bagel for our 35 gift bundles this year!! I cant say enough good about these folks. Great people and yummy bagels... and the best Shmear anywhere!! : )This Review was from Nov 2019:We had a large order of 35 bundles, and were very specific about what we needed... and Vanessa and her team were AWESOME about accommodating all of our needs and the desired mix of bagel and cream cheese flavors, also adding napkins, knives, freezer bag, etc. PLUS... Vanessa went WAY above and beyond, touching base with me several times leading up to our pick-up, then actually putting bows in our desired colors on our Thanksgiving bundles for us, and having them all stacked and ready when we arrived. (She even texted me a pic that morning, letting me know my order was ready in a fun way. : )Then, without hesitation, Vanessa added another bundle that we realized we needed at the last minute. Next, she and her team patiently accommodated our need to pay in specific small increments... AND THEN they cheerfully helped us load our cars with the bundles. They were all so great to work with, and you could really tell that Vanessa set the tone and had a great relationship with her employees! In addition to how she treated us, I saw her treat other customers with the same personal touch and caring service. I was very impressed.We had worked with the former manager Ash for more than 10 years on our annual bagel deliveries, and he had been great, and so I have to admit I was worried when he was gone that things might not go as well. The bagles were stale yes you dropped the ball.. Do not understand this since they are made fresh each day but 2 bagles out of 3 were stale like someone mirowaved them and the other the order was incorrect.Not a bagel expert but do no a good vs a poor bagel. Very surprising we have eaten here many times and maybe over 20 times in various locals but never served a bagle like this in the past. So maybe its tbe lication!

Normally this sport is perfect, but my last visit both bagels I ordered barley had any toppings or spread. I hope its a one time thing.

Best bagels ever! The staff is very friendly and helpful. I got so much food for only $20. Large espresso, large orange juice, bakers dozen and 2 smears! Awesome! Mondays are great to get Bagels here!

Actually surprised at how good their food was! Definitely recommend. I had their lunch and a Begel and chips was perfect.

Horrible mobile order service. We waited 25 minutes for our order while people who just walked in the door got served instantly. Bagels were squashed and had 1/4 the cream cheese as normal. We wont be back.

I got the beyond breakfast sandwich was ok & the only thing is the bagel 🥯 wasnt as soft as I thought it should be so for that reason they didnt get 5 stars. But they do have great customer service.

Got a Turkey Bacon Avocado bagel and a Chicken Bacon Egg bagel to go... got home only to find both were missing the bacon 😭😭😭 Check your food before you go! They usually do a great job and have good bagels.

They have great customer service!! They act very professional even when other customers are being extremely rude to them for no reason. They work well under pressure and the Manger Vanessa is very good at her job. Also the shift leaders that they have at this location are great as well!!! Overall a great place to get some great bagels!!🤗

The new manager has come a long way with this store. We were all VERY upset when the old one was let go and the whole store went down hill but she has done a fabulous job of turning it around - especially during a pandemic. Thank you for making us love this store again! We love our weekly Einstein bagel trip.

I ordered 3 sliced jalapeño with cheddar bagels, thats it, nothing else on them, waited 15 minutes just for them to tell me they didnt have any. Then they suggested the green chile bagels, which I was ok with, waited another 10 minutes and they forgot about my order, everyone else that came after me left before me. I just asked for a refund instead. They need to get it together at this location, the lack of communication is what made this error occur. I love einstein bagels but this is the first and last time Ill come to this location, take the time and go to the one in encinitas.

Solid bagel spot. Will go back again to try the new bagelrito because they were out of them when I went in, which was a bummer. I still enjoyed the bagels that I got though.

We ordered two bagel sandwiches and a bagelrito. The order was completely messed up. One of the bagel sanwiches was supposed to have turkey sausage, but instead there was ham and bacon in it, which I do not eat. The other sandwich was missing the bacon. The bagelrito was completely cold on the inside and not enjoyable at all; it seems the bagelritos are kept frozen or refrigerated and although the outside was warmed up, the inside stayed cold.We ordered the items for to go, so we didnt notice the mistakes until we were already well on our way. I emailed corporate twice to ask for a refund or credit, but received no reply. Its very disappointing.Entire order was incorrect, bagelrito was cold, corporate didnt do anything about it. The only reason why its 2 stars and not 1 is because the bagel that we did eat was quite good.

Drove 25 minutes to get here and when I got home they had forgotten both of our smears. Called to complain about it, was put on hold and promptly ignored for 15 minutes. Called again several times and no one answered.

General Manager, Ash, is the best. Friendly, and has high stand of cleanliness and quality. Weve been coming here since they opened, and its always been consistently excellent.My current favorite is the Harvest Chicken Salad, which I get on a garlic bagel, but I havent gone wrong with any of the sandwiches.

Love their breakfast bagel sandwiches, they are soooo good! A very yummy way to start the day. Gotta make sure to go early though (and I am NOT a morning person lol) cuz by 10 am they are running out of all my favorite bagels. I really wish theyd make more...i mean, theyre open til 2pm so you think theyd make enough to last until at least 12 or 1.

The food is good, but management has changed. Caribou coffee owns it now. It used to be personable and family oriented. Now it’s nothing special. Bagels are the best, but the experience is no longer pleasant. Just kinda run of the mill.

I love this place however they mess my to go order up over and over again I’m so disappointed. I always give them another try because I love their bagels. I suggest to double check your order if your taking it to go as they are so busy I think it just gets misplaced. They always offer to replace the missing sandwich however I usually can’t go back which ends up making it a loss. Food is good, service can improve.

Lines get long but they keep them moving fast. The manager (maybe owner) is fantastic and takes pride in his work. It is very obvious he wants every customer to have a great experience and he takes time to know his customers. Oh and the food is delicious.

Food is OK, just a bad overall store experience my last dozen visits or so: inane (why do you need a name for my order if its a single cold bagel youre about to walk over to the register?), slothlike service, incapable of keeping enough stock of popular premium flavors on a Sunday unlike every other store in the same chain; management deflects their own issues by berating staff in front of customers...just cringey

Slowest Einstein Bagels Ever!!! Too bad there is not more in this area, drives me nuts to wait over 15 minutes every single time for just 1 bagel with spread! Coffee is never hot. It is always warm and once you put creamer it is completely cold.Love the bagels, really wish upper management would really do something to become more efficient.

Bagels are always fresh, I love the special of 13bagels on Monday for 7bucks. They sell there on cream cheese and my favorite is the salmon smear. Omg

This has always been my favorite Einstein Bros location....the restaurant is always clean and the service has always been superior...the fact that its so conveniently located off the freeway makes it that much better!

I have been going here since 2008 the bagels are awesome. The one downside is that because the bagels are so delicious they have a line most of the time and you will wait. Call ahead it will save some time in line.

The young ladies working here were not that friendly. They lacked of a good customer service. They looked mad or just so unhappy. The time I went there wasnt even that busy either, it was just 2 of us(customers) at that time.
