I took my daughter there for her first time fishing. It was a great spot and super easy to rent fishing rod and bait. We caught a little stingray the first time fishing so she had a blast.

Young teenaged Staff is ALWAYS super nice, friendly, and polite- which is rare these days, so it is much appreciated. Snacks are cheap and drinks are ice cold - they also have big selection of fishing tackle and neat-o souvenirs. They accept cash and credit - really love this small bait shop/snack bar!

Use to fish the pier with my dad at night. Good fishing for bass,sculpin,shovel nose sharks,skates,leopard sharks, bat rays. Use cut bait squid,anchovy,sardine,mackerel. Sliding egg sinker or dropper loop rigs 3 to 6 oz weights. Reels with clickers.

Bought lots of beautiful sea shells here at a very reasonable price for decorating my beach themed guest room! The wrapped them great for transport. Staff was friendly and cordial

The Price is Right. We rented the poles. We purchase the bait and they threw in an extra hook no charge. The guys in the rental shop know what theyre talking about. We had a great day fishing on the pier!

This place has it all. Pole rentals, bait, drinks and snacks. Support the bait shop not walmart. If your lucky Charlie will be working, although his hours vary. Buy him a few sardines.

We had a large group and the staff did great! They were very friendly, food came out fast, hot, and very good! Would highly recommend that you make your way to the pier and enjoy the views as you walk to this throwback diner! They even give you the milk shake canister for you to finish off after your shake is made.

I have came from hemet ca for the last 4 years just to come fishing off the pier because of how pretty it is and how nice and helpful the staff is at this bait shop. They always have what you need and they even gave my son a deal on a toy when he didnt have enough money! They are truly awesome with great service

I recently talked with the owner in them I was heavily mistake and Im also a balloon twister I thought they targeted me because of my pride button badge pain that I was wearing apparently the targeting Busters I think its ignorance on their part they dont know the difference between a vendor and a buster a busker does not charge a set price to let service they ask for tips and do not solicit mean as somebody cant pay the art is still free like in this case I make balloon art AKA balloon animals its because of this fact I protected under the first and 14th Amendment at the United States Constitution I set up an a public area not updating the sidewalk and Im not overly pushy and if anybody wants a balloon I would make it for free and if they want to give me a tip from more than welcome to but they dont have to and theyll still get a balloon no matter what I dont turn away people because they dont pay and I definitely dont set prices

Guy who sold me the shells was very rude first he insulted me by saying I was a weirdo I had strep throat so my voice sounded all messed up even after I told him he just holds my shells up high and drops them and says whoops after I was done paying for them they broke of course I dont recommend buying from this place if they have some guy just doing crap like that

It is a nice fishing gear shop at the pier. In addition to fishing tackle you can also buy coffee and souvenirs. Fishing tackle is American feeling, there is no delicate gimmick.For fishing rod rental, a credit card or drivers license is required. When you tell the name at the reception and deposit a credit card or drivers license, you can receive the rod. Credit card or drivers license will be returned when you go home after fishing. Rental rental fee is 5 dollars per hour (tax not included). If you use more than 3 hours, it will automatically be the maximum of $ 15. Even if you use from opening to closing closure, it costs $ 15, so I recommend you to fish slowly over a day. Also, when fishing at the pier, license fee is unnecessary.Bring fishing baits with turkey ham or shrimp or buy it at this kiosk. The trap is attached to the rental rod, but the needle point is slightly sweet, so it is safe to bring it from Japan.Since the toilet is located in several places in the pier, women and children are safe.By regulation, please keep checking as keeping size for each fish.Besides tourists, there are various people such as Marines of nearby bases, uncle of begging, but because everyone is kind, there is no problem.
