It has a genuine Oceanside feel to it. I’ve been coming to the city since the mid-90’s and man, it’s changed. This area could be last bastion in SD county and the little downtown area still feels the same. It’s the perfect place to come after a surf or if you are just making your way down south. Worth a swerve off the 5.

Absolutely worth the visit. Amazing atmosphere, super nice staff (knowledgable & VERY personable), and fantastic coffee. My favorite drink was a latte with their honey and cinnamon blend. YUM.

The right mix of chocolate and orange flavors... and I heard they made the orange flavor themselves...nothing artificial, everything fresh, brewed to perfection, my new favorite coffee spot in Oceanside (sorry Black Rock)

The best summer coffee refreshment is their Coffee Soda😋👍!! so refreshing & sparkling + just lightly sweetened!! The Expresso shots in the drink are rich tasting, not bitter, w/ great flavor!! Nice friendly vibe from employees. Also they have some yummy looking baked goods, will try next time!!

Kindness, friendliness, and customer service and just a couple of words that come to my mind when I think of steel mill. I’ve been in the shop and ordered coffee online. My iced mocha was absolutely amazing and the barista Sam talked to me about his love for photography. Such an amazing place and can’t wait to go back in.

That orange coffee is BOMB! Staff was super friendly. Worth supporting this local business over your standard Starbucks.

Come to Oceanside for work every few months, this is always my go to for a morning cup. Staff is really welcoming, and its a nice walk from the hotel.

Ordered a bag of BBs Masha online. The coffee is phenomenal. Definitely one of our favorites at the office. Shipping was quick and product arrived in great condition. Keep up the great roasting!

Steel Mill is among the only 3 coffee spots I hit up frequently! I love the vibe of this place. The coffee is amazing and everyone who works here is so nice and chill. Their music selection is always on point too. Dope spot!

Im not a huge coffee drinker, but enjoyed a cold brew while out on a bike ride. The guys behind the counter were super nice and friendly.

Nice addition to the Oceanside Coffee scene. Crew working is super friendly and very welcoming. Very consistent coffee. I have been getting coffee every morning now for a week and not one bad cup. Espresso is top notch. Only recommendation is the open time needs to roll back to 6am....

Really cozy ambiance, warm and friendly staff, and great coffee! The mocha I had was one of the best Ive ever had and the maple donut was amazing! Great spot for coffee, would, without a doubt, recommend!

The reason why I couldn’t give 5 stars unfortunately was due to the fact that I found the espresso to be very bitter. I got an iced almond milk latte and I was thinking that it could’ve been the almond milk, but my husband got a regular cappuccino. And his tasted off as well. The reason why I gave it 4 stars was because of the service. The gentleman who served my husband and I was extremely genuine and friendly. Told him we were visiting from Toronto and he welcomed us and it felt so genuine. I’ll definitely try this place again when we visit Oceanside again because of the service. Thank you guys.

Always a chill vibe when I pass through here. Great coffee to go with a great atmosphere. Definitely not the largest selection of records but its quality over quantity with these guys, and you can bet there will be some great albums to pick through.

Great place with amazing (semi industrial) vibe. Central but tucked away not far from the beach and train station. Chris the barista is just a natural charmer :)Only complaint is the music: too much rock-and-roll. I saw 2 families with kids zooming out, could be the loud music. I think house music or light pop would be more fun for the morning hours.The coffee was excellent: cold brew was one of the best!!

First time trying this place. I got the hot mocha with almond milk. Literally one the best cups of coffee I have EVER had; I am really picky with my coffee. Highly recommend!!!!!

The staff was very friendly but this was literally the worst coffee I ever had. I literally had to throw it away! I got the cold brew but I decided to get the vanilla added and I believe thats why it tasted so bad. I dont suggest the flavor adds. My boyfriend got a latte and his tasted fine so I dont think it was the coffee, I think its the flavor add one. It just had the weirdest taste that I couldnt force myself to drink.
