(Updated as the store has contacted back about the events and has resolved with me what had happened and how they will correct it) I have never had a bad experience with check city untill this week. My loan payment was due on the 7th. When I realized I could re-finance and lower my payment. I chose to. The employee I spoke to that day told me since I had done so that payment on the 7th would not be due.Payment for the loan had deducted from my account. The only solution that was available to get back what was paid was to re finance in an attempt to be able to add 127 the ammount of the payment of the loan.The manager at the other store was only able to approve 87. So from being told that I had no payment due. I lost $49.If the manager of the store reads this I want the owner of the store to contact me about this. Im still waiting on contact.

This would be my rating for Layton, Utah Check City, but its not an option on the list provided. Ive never used any other store as I live in Layton. The staff in LAYTON are very friendly and most helpful. Ive been a long time customer and theyve always been great.

They are just awesome there.

The tellers are always very polite. If they only have one window open and a person gets in line they immediately open another window to accommodate, if a handycap person is coming in they will help them with the door and chair. They are very knowledgeable regarding their services. The store I was rating is on State Street and 2150 South in Salt Lake City.

This location had the most upbeat staff! Everyone in the office was smiling, passing out candy, interacting with each other and customers. Not only that, I was in and out of here so fast, couldnt have been even 5 minutes. If I ever need this kind of help again I will definitely return to this as specific store.

I visited this store to receive my first short term loan. The lady that helped me was so friendly and helpful - she made the process extremely easy! I called a bunch of other locations and learned that Check City is by far the cheapest in interest. If I ever need another loan I will make sure to come back to this location!

They try to have great service and most of the time they do. There are a couple employees that still seem new in their jobs after months of working there though. The interest rate is high but the Paydown program they have makes it possible to make headway on a loan!

Would not make arrangements for one week after I had become sick and couldnt make minimum payment. This has got to the point of not only being unable to keep my checking account open as required for my employer but ruining my job/retirement as Im not very healthy and turn 62 shortly. Made liabs for a couple years without a flaw until asking for one weeks help. Cant believe their were this deceitful and merciless. They pounced on that real quick. DONT do bussiness with this loan predator.

In SLC one weekend and car broke down. Staff helped me in a tight situation. Check City worker, she, told me not to worry. Their system was linked up and all I need to do was show ID and verify my current info. Will be back soon for sure.

This is the option it gives me when i clicked to reviewvSLC check city. I have never been to the one in Ogden. The one in salt lake city on 2100vand state howevee is a very good check city I have been going there for the longest time and not once have i had to wait in line. Very courteous and fast. What more could you ask for?
