The owner at Sandies Tailoring has been working there for 17 years and knows her stuff. I have a clothing business and asked them for help. They work long hours, past the closing times and rarely take days off. I was iffy about giving them so many of my products to work on, but all of the apparel came out exactly how I requested. I cannot recommend this business enough! Thank you Le for your help.

They went on vacation for a week and did NOT express to me that my item needed to be picked up on the day she “circled” it would be ready. This happened to more than one person in a wedding we had in the area. When I went back to talk to her about it after frantically rushing to find a different dress- the lady there basically didn’t own up to their mistake. I did however get a call Friday 8/6 at 5:36p saying I needed to get my item by 6pm otherwise I wouldn’t be able to get it for 10 days. It was terrible business practice.

By far the best tailoring shop in the lansing area. They do a better job than the competition, at a lower price. I’ve shopped around in the past, this is the place to go.

I dont know yet since I have not picked my clothes up yet but it was a pleasant experience.

I brought a pair of slacks to Sandie for shortening. I didn’t notice that they had double stitching. Sandie did and the double stitch matched the color of the thread perfectly. Price and quality. You can’t go wrong!

I had two identical experiences when I took items into Sandie’s for alterations. Both times, the items were not ready for pick up when promised. There were no apologies, the representative said: “Not ready. Tomorrow.” Even when picking up, when the items were finally done, again, no apologies and no offers of a discount or compensation. Not fond of this establishment.

Ive been taking everything here for almost 10 years now. Shes fast, cheap, and her work still holds up 10 years later. Im a big fan.

A very special jacket was damaged in a fall recently, so I decided to take it to a professional tailor to fix it. But I was very disappointed with what they did! Their staff used different color material & thread to fill in the hole and also the patch is still loose😡. I paid $12 but I can’t believe that they charged me with that kind of work. Very poor work! I will never take my stuff to them again!

They are always flexible with time. I could get something done and picked up the next day, and alterations always come out the way I want them to.

She (Ms Le) is fast & inexpensive & reliable.... And that is the golden tri-fecta for me . Highly recommended :)
