I met the manager. Her name is Tara, and she was knowledgeable in every product I was recommended. She seems like shes in the right place. If you ever need anything at Sallys, she is the one to go to; professional, honest, and sincere. Managing a wonderful staff, she deserves all the praise she never asks for. To be honest, she is too good for this company. I am sorry to say that, but a manager who cares about their staff, and does not take no ill will towards others, is a boss worth having. I even opened up a credit card. A good manager has the naturistic power of persuasion. A perfect saleswoman.

I actually used to work here and I LOVED IT. I was trained by Marissa and we always knew to put customers first and try to achieve the best customer service possible. With that being said today was the worst visit I have had in a very long time.I walked in and there was nobody to greet me. The store has been changed around and things look way different so it was difficult to find anything. I walked the whole store about 4 times looking for the hair glue and still couldnt find it. The whole time the 2 store associates were in the back room gossiping about a guy one of them liked that plays basketball or sports or something. I literally had to go to the back and wait before someone came out to see if i needed help.Once they came out the girl with a lot of eye liner around her eyes told me they dont even have that product and dont order it anymore. I had to ask 3 times before she would call the other location to see if they had it. To make matters worse she had the nerve to ask me if I was doing a return.I literally had a handful of items that I wanted to buy. How insulting to assume I was doing a return. Nothing in my demeanor said that as I literally was asking for a product.I ended up leaving the store without my purchase and I am completely disappointed. This is not the culture I know from Sallys and definitely not welcoming.
Tara is THE WORST. She terrorized me out of going to the west side location 5 years ago and last night she terrorized me from ever returning the this location on pacific. Trying to return products I purchased online she argued with me for 5 minutes about having a printed receipt. I ordered my purchase online, ship to store. I showed her my purchase email, she was not satisfied and only wanted to put my refund on a gift card. When I accepted she started scanning items for return and throwing them aggressively at the counter after each one, items falling to the floor. Worst of all she called my daughter a boy. Just don’t say anything about someone’s child’s gender if you can’t tell. I will not be returning here. But the location on the west side is great again, hooray!

Manager of the store was very rude and sat on her phone in the back room with another girl while one girl upfront helped multiple customers at once all by herself. Very unprofessional.
Love the store !!! It’s neat and clean !!! The girls are helpful at recommending products !!!! They always check if I have coupons and offered me there new credit card . The manager is super sweet and always offers alternatives if there out of things due to covid.
The customer service is horrible. The ladies there do not smile and act as if the customer is a bother to them. The store itself was clean and organized but the staff needs a lesson in kindness.

I’m leaving this review about the awesome customer service I received from the employee Tara. When I first came in I was skeptical on getting hair dye because of my thinning hair me figured I’d end of buying something that could damage my hair more, well Tara was able to help me out not only with information about certain products that I wasn’t sure on if it would be good or bad for me but she was able to steer me in the write path which I appreciate because I’d rather leave then get help on something embarrassing like that, other than that professionalism at its finest when I came in thanks again!

Excellent customer service. Very courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful staff. Shelves are stocked and clearly marked with product info. I asked for the best product for moisturizing very long, semi curly hair and a great wet brush. I was handed a jar of Generic DEEP CONDITIONING HAIR MASK Compare to: ITS A 10 MIRACLE HAIR MASK. She said that I would love this product and it will be amazing for my unruly curls. Ive seen the ITS A 10 product online before but I wasnt sure of its benefit compared to the much higher price...almost 40.00 for the same size jar. Well...I love it! I think it was 8 or 9$. Now for the brush. She directed me to right by the register where there was a small blue, plastic short bristled brush with yellow lemons. This too is absolutely perfect for removing tangles. It was only 3$. I am completely satisfied with the entire experience! Ill be back...
Not very helpful, they got robbed while we were there and the store manager RAN after the thief. This Is not the 1st time we have been treated like this. We were not greeted by anyone. Because all 3 employees were in the back eating.

This Sallys is great! They are helpful and knowledgeable. You know how they say there is always 1 bad apple! Well no exception here. The Manager and Asst. Manager and their staff are rockin awesome, except 1. Melissa is rude, and does not provide anything resembling customer service. Not a fit for the store or retail in general!Thanks to the Manager and the rest of her Team for a great shopping experience!

I have been a Sallys customer for many years. Of all my years of shopping at Sallys all over the country, this is by far the WORST Sallys I have EVER visited.I just stopped by Sallys to get two items. I waited five minutes at the register, no one even attempted to assist me. Then, up walks the cashier with two other customers and proceeds to check them out; before looking up and asking, Oh, were you waiting? Clearly upset I said, Yes, but go ahead. Instead of checking the customers out in a timely manner, (not fast, because I understand customer service), the cashier proceeds to take her sweet time. Shes chatting with the customers as if no one else was even in line. So I put my items on the counter, and walked straight out. I will NEVER spend another dime at that store. Not that they care, but I thought the owner/manager should be aware of this behavior. That is no way to treat a paying customer.
This local Sallys staff 97.99% of the time has me, my desires, & my best overall interests in mind. Staff is knowledgeable & accomodating. When with a customer, full focus & attention is with that customer. Theres always a deal or discount going on.The store is small in size and can feel cramped so Id recommend not bringing your child if at all possible.Lastly, closing time... is closing time and with that in mind, your need for last minute help will most likely be resolved so pay it forward with getting in & getting out remembering empathy if youre asked 3 times are you finding everything okay and if you feel a sense of urgency, just respect it.. I love Sally Beauty!!
They have a nice variety of beauty supplies. The lady at the front counter provided really good customer service today. She was pleasant, polite, and had a good sense of humor.

I know how hard it is to please retail customers especially those looking for cheap products and free advice. These girls take a lot of cr#$& from the customer s and still manage to smile. I know they dont get much corporate support and they are often understaffed but have the bar set even higher. Many are working two jobs because Sallys is too cheap to pay well. Give them a break people and dont forget this isnt a full service salon so dont expect them to treat u like a queen. You are just one of thousands that demand their time. Be patient and the will do the best they can for you.
The Manager here is awesome! Super chill but also really helpful in advising, walking through processes, finding what youre looking for, helping a girl out when she needs to save some mon-ay!

My daughter is biracial and I had no idea how to manage her hair. I got great information on products and styles to use for her hair, and was also given information on products for myself that I had questions about. Great staff!
Bald girl with glasses was rude, and unhelpful. She was blocking the color wall that 3 other people were trying to look at and was annoyed when I asked if they had something I couldn’t get close enough to see if they had. Went to the other location, and had a perfect experience. Will not be returning to this location

Good products. Bad directions. Came in today with bright yellow orangish dyed hair seeking help. One lady who worked there said oh use this itll keep the blonde an get rid of the orangish yellow. Ha yea right, my hair is now orangish copper an all the blonde parts turned green. Dont know why i trust any who work at any sallys. Ive always been misdirected by their staff when i ask what will tone my hair.
Not a hello, can I help you, or even an F u......I own a business and spent $$$ at Sallys and this is the WORST customer service Ive ever had; and thats saying a lot. The two there were more concerned about talking to each other. Get a grip kids.... Great customerservice still rules business. Just moved here & will NOT ever return. **I can see from the reviews they get a lot of complaints about the service **
