My favorite lumber supplier hands down! Bob is very knowledgeable and dependable! I highly recommend to contractors and home owners alike! Great quality product, great price and great customer service.... You dont get all three of those attributes very often anymore!

First time in the place and love it. Its that local hardware store that I always loved. Just ran in for 4 screws, found the ones I needed easily. Got up to the front and the cashier said I was good. I know you cant get stuff for free all the time, but I was in a rush and it was a huge help. I wont expect anything free again, but definitely going back.

Still my favorite lumber yard. Sad to see there are not as many tools available there as in the past. Amazon is hard to compete with for sure.

We shop here a lot.Sometimes we can only get what we need here since Lowes and Home Depot wont have what we need.

I’d say rude and arrogant describes my encounter with the yard person. The wood I received was less than desirable and apparently cut with a chain saw.The other thing that got my goat was the lack of masks. No one was wearing a mask inside until i walked inside and the yard person felt he didn’t need one. I don’t know the best practices, but I thought that one would wear a mask if the other person is wearing a mask - seems like the polite thing to do.Anyway, i will do cleaver things to make the wood work, but go someplace else for my lumber needs.

Not a place for home owners. This business caters to professionals and contractors and you can feel it. They had no patience for my questions and I hope their regular professional customers get discounts because otherwise they are the highest in the country on most things.

Don’t waste your time or money here. I went here for a tool that I could order for $20 online, but decided to shop locally. Bayview has the tool, but they were asking $70 for the same thing! What? As a local electrical contractor, I won’t be back here. I did a price check on some wire that Home Depot has for $58; Bayview’s price is $79! Looks like all their pricing is inflated.

I am a contractor try to avoid Bayview because every time I go there I wait time is money for me I even sit in the upper yard while they help other people who came in behind me. Selection of material is good but yard help needs to be on the people who come in first and take care of them first. Like I said I am a contractor and time is money.

Wow what a positive experience. I started out at the big box stores looking for materials for my deck and stumbled upon Bayview. Jeff looked at my plan and started asking me questions before I knew it he was dramatically adjusting my shopping list to save me a lot of money and headache. What a knowledgeable group of folks and generous with their time. My new favorite lumber/hardware store.

No Stars. If you are just calling in for material prices, be ready to be treated like your an idiot. I asked the guy to please be patient and kind and he told me to stop whining. What kind of customer service is that? You all lost my business...i was calling in for all material for a full cedar deck...your BIG ticket loss, Bayview. Train your employees to treat customers respectfully.

We purchase our cabinets from them. We were missing some skins so the installer couldnt finish his job and if we wanted him to come back he would charge us more. We did order the missing skins and some extra parts. We were told 3 weeks. After six weeks our parts finally came in. But now no one to complete the job. We had a new installer but after waiting for longer than 3 weeks he started a different job. Once cleaning the cabinet we noticed we had broken drawers and some missing shelf clips. We were told that they would send all new draws and clips and they would come to the house. After about 6 weeks (March 26th) I emailed looking for broken and missing parts, no response. I emailed again on April 2nd and he finally replied on April 3rd stating he had pieces for the broken drawers, not new drawers and the clips for the shelves. Not sure how long they were where sitting there and now have to find someone to install the new tracks on the drawers, at our expense to us. If we didnt baby sit them the whole time, nothing was getting done. The cabinet guy does a horrible job. They did deliver the parts April 4th and the shipping date on the box was February 13th.

Not for the DIY person. I went in here to support a local business. They didn’t seem interested in helping the DIY person. They seemed annoyed as I asked questions. Thank god for the big box store Lowe’s just about a mile east of this place.

This is my favorite lumber yard. When I built my house they set up an account for me and we sourced most of our materials here. The staff are helpful and friendly, and will go out of their way to help.Years later Im also a professional builder and prefer this supplier for the quality of their materials and still-helpful staff.

I asked for some free advice on re-gluing 30 year old laminate facing and received some excellent advice on the process and the glue to use. Additionally this store is the type of old time lumber store that is very hard to find these days. It reminds me of the Compton Lumber store down by the Market in Seattle. Yea, Its like Manna from heaven.

Bayview lumber rocks! They are old school locals that know lumber and do everything in their power to provide excellent service from regular dimensional lumber to exotic hardwoods. Olympia Construction has used them as our supplier for years.

I cant really rate them because I havent been there yet. Seem friendly over the phone. Went to the store to pick up materials on Saturday (their website says they are open 8 am - noon), and they were closed. Great that you have a website, but please update it.Also, whats up with not being open at all on weekends? Youre hardly DIYer friendly if you arent open on the weekends which is the only time most of us with other jobs have time for our DIY projects.
