We suspected the alternator was going out on our Honda Odyssey. After being told by our dealership that the earliest available appointment was July 8, even for a major issue, Omaha Japanese Auto Repair was recommended to us by a friend, and we are so glad to have found this gem! Even though he was booked, John had us bring the van right in, checked the alternator and battery and said I probably would have made it home but not too much further without major issues. He said if we could leave it with him, hed do his best to do the repairs done. By 4:00 that afternoon, we were driving away with a new alternator and an oil change. John was so great to work with, and the price was right too. Well never take the Honda anywhere else! Thanks for working us in, and keeping the kids and I safe, John!

A good place to take your HondAcura vehicle when you dont want to contend with the dealership. I am a long-time customer at a different local HondAcura repair shop, and while my overall loyalty is there, I used Omaha Japanese Auto Repair for the first time, for a routine oil change and tire rotation, as its closer to home.IMHO, you cant go wrong either way, as Omaha Japanese Auto Repair is very good, too. John, the owner, is very professional, and explained the mechanics observations in detail, all without fear-mongering, like you often get at a dealership.

I dropped it off late afternoon expecting it some time the next day. John sent me a text that it would be done by end of day if I wanted to pick it up. Awesome serviceHave a 08 accord and knew that I needed to do a trans flush and a PS flush. John and his team discovered what I already knew and a couple of other things I wasn’t aware of. I ended up doing the two things above and my car feels like a new car and the low hum I was hearing is gone! John also listed all the service reminders and wasn’t pushy on recommendations. I have been ignored because today 4-25-2020 I got another mailing. I have again sent Wes an email to demand removal of my information.MSM is Motor Service Marketing & they are not even in Omaha. They are in Florida. They have purchased my name from somewhere without my consent. I CANNOT send an email to Omaha Japanese Auto Repair because they conveniently do NOT have any email address.This is an ongoing problem with advertising locally, there is nobody to care about doing the right thing...I am NOT on Facebook, or any other social media so they have purchased my info from an national clearinghouse without my consent..& they have also ignored my name appearing on the DIRECT MAIL DO NOT MAIL list.Their website states that they use a DMV mailing list. I have contacted my city, county & state representatives about selling the Nebraska DMV lists..I have been assured this information is NOT sold to anyone. Wow. From the moment I met John I started to learn a lot about my car. My AC was not working so on the phone he had told me to just stop by so he can take a look. He had some suggestions and I decided to make an appointment. The service was awesome but the report you get after the visit is even better. You can also see your car service history online and keep records there. Top of the line service. I would continue to buy Hondas just to take them here for service.

No nonsense service. Finds the problem, fixes the problem, charges fairly. Came through in a pinch for me. My cars engine fans gave out, causing potential overheating. I needed my car in less than 8 hours to make an important chemotherapy/radiation appointment. Kept in touch throughout the day AND got new tires I needed before the 2/2 storm! Now, thats great service!
