I dont think Tanner nor Michael warrant even a 1 star. They do not know there job nor their product and when a mistake is made, rather than own it and make it right they put it back on the customer. They like to use comment like you approved the ticket . Yes that is correct. I approved the ticket. However, what is listed on the ticket is NOT the same as what was given me. Not the first time either. So I guess shame on me for going back. I wont be making that mistake again. For the record, the products are great. The customer service an knowledge base of the employees are severely lacking.

Went to get 10 foot posts. Needed 6 of them. Two young men both named Ben had amazing attitudes and went through about 20 different posts until we were satisfied with the ones they showed us. They also loaded them into our vehicle. I would recommend going here for all your lumber needs. The warehouse guys customer service was incredible.

My experience has been a complete 180 than what it was with Home Depot. Long story short, I went to Home Depot, demanded my money back and hopped across the street to see Angel. I had just spent four months trying to buy an entry door. I came to Angel with what I wanted. He was able to mock it up and give me an estimate in minutes (HD took about an hour mucking around on their software). We worked back and forth on details and I made the purchase. A few weeks later the door came in (on time - HD was 2 weeks late). He called me, let me know it was in and we worked on scheduling an install. They ended up coming that weekend to install (HD was a month out for installs). The installer, Michael, was wonderful. He was very detailed and they were there much later than expected (everything in this house was done wrong). I couldnt be happier with my entry door and the process. This is what buying local and the customer experience is all about. Thanks guys! I cant recommend yall enough.

After sifting through the big box store piles I decided to give you a try.I knew exactly what I wanted by size and quantity. I called in the order and then realized that I would probably get the picked over leftovers since I didnt see them in person. I was wrong. The entire order was the best of quality and it was delivered and placed in the EXACT spot that I asked.That service goes a long way. Keep it up!!

Your window salesman wants a paycheck but wants to do as little as possible to get it. I went in to ask him what the difference was between manufacturers windows based on the price difference for the same window. His lovely response was. It is my job as a buyer to go investigate on my own. He is only there to order what I want. Well I was there the learn the difference so I can make a informative decision. So yes I was doing my investigation.How lazy can one person be.I also referred a few other people to millard lumber but after this fabulous experience I have called them and told them my experience and withdrew my referral.Now off to their competitor.

Monica was awesome. We had just a small order for some hardware, but she made us feel like our order was just as important as a large order. Even after I miscounted what we needed, she jumped right in a placed a second order without hesitation. I would definitely work with her again!

Recently built a pergola.....after a bad experience with Menards where they messed up my order and made things way to difficult I went to Millard Lumber. They had everything I needed and the service and delivery was outstanding. Realized mid way through we needed a few more pieces and they went out of their way to get them there quickly. Left Home Depot after a lackluster customer service experience thinking we would get better service at a local lumber yard. Not the case. We waited at windows and doors over a 1/2 hour for help. No one came and we finally started to walk out when someone hurried over.The salesperson we finally had was condescending. But we finally ordered a new sliding glass door expecting that it would arrive in a single frame ready to slide in. It came in 3 boxes, the doors separate from the frame. This was not what we expected and had we been told this, we would have ordered a different door.I would also add that we intended to order a new window as well, but decided to keep the old one rather than spend more time in this business.When the door arrived, I called the salesperson he assured this door would be easier to install and level because the frame would be lighter without the windows inside. This might be true for someone else, but 40 pages of directions later, I will say that has not been our experience.

From start to finish-the team at Millard Lumber was there for all my DIY questions and concerns when I took on rebuilding my deck with composite. Helping me with design and structural needs and choice of the best material for the project. As with most of my projects, I try to take them on myself and when I’ve used the big box stores, I generally can’t get a straight answer on how to deal with questions that normally come up as I am learning how to do things. Not the case with this team. Deliveries were on time and very professional. The materials were in great shape and made it easy for me to just work. Thanks ML team - I’ll be heading back to you the next time I decide to take on another project.

Extremely disappointed with the timeliness and follow-up from Millard Lumber. Tried to obtain quote for a project and the only information received from Millard Lumber was excuses about project timeline and needing to provide them with all the measurements. The company markets they handle everything from start to finish and guarantee their work, but the two times I have tried to work with them I have been unable to even get them to come out to take measurements and see what the project entails -- all other contractors were out within 48 hours. Please keep in mind, they will have the homeowner do all the measurements and still cannot provide a quote in a timely manner. Very disappointed especially when they build a showroom like they have giving the indication they are willing and able to help homeowners with remodels/updates.

I have an extremely esoteric door project that Ted Johnson and Co at Millard Lumber have been kind enough to work with me on. They’ve always been very attentive and followed up with me every step of the way to make an otherwise unwieldy project doable. In fact they’re the only company that could even touch my project because of how massive the doors are. I’ve worked with near two dozen contractors in Elkhorn and Omaha and Millard Lumber are tops on my list for carpentry projects.UPDATE 10/17/18: Have to mention to anyone who needs their hardware job done right, that Mark at Millard Lumber is your go-to pro. He has worked with me at-length to get exactly what I want. No nonsense no problems. Perfect. Truly appreciate it!

My wife went into Millard Lumber today after leaving the gym. The purpose was to find and purchase some unique knobs for two dressers we are refinishing. My wife explains to me that an older fat white balding salesman looked her up and down and judged her. Telling her “oh you don’t want to go in there, those are expensive” My wife feeling quite offended replied “How do you not know I can’t afford the more expensive Knobs.Are your sales people trained in condescending and belittling customers. Never judge a book by its cover. We do quite well and will not be going into Millard Lumber again. Great businesses fail eventually because of poor customer service. Your fat white bald salesman needs to keep his flippn mouth shut!!! Maybe he should go on a diet and grow some hair and and take some classes on ethics.

We bought a beautiful front door with sidelights and a smart door handle lock from Millard Lumber . It has been a good experience - they have been responsive to all of my concerns and all will be perfect as soon as it is not aFrozen Tundra outside !! We would recommend them for sure !!

We recently had a complete renovation of our kitchen. This was all guided by Joanie Fredenburg, the interior designer at Millard Lumber. She is so knowlegeable about all of the aspects of a kitchen renovation. She was a great advisor with selection of cabinets, countertop, backsplash, lighting, color coordination, and integrating the overall look of the kitchen with the style of the rest of the house. We would have never gotten the beautiful results on this project without her expertise.

Great service for the do it yourself type of person.

I had too many cabinet handles and I wasn’t able to return them. I needed more knobs and they took 3 weeks to come in. The screws for the handles and knobs were too long and had to be cut by our contractor. Very frustrating.

Dont say you are open until 3 but actually close at 1. Even your banner on the store is wrong

I am having three bathrooms remodeled. I ordered pulls for all drawers and cabinet doors. Turns out the pulls I ordered won’t work for the smaller drawers-something about the way they are constructed. I attempted to return the items and discovered they have a zero return policy!Unused, still sealed in package, with receipt. Nope! So I am just out of luck.This is an example of horrible customer service. I will be telling my contractor to warn his other clients of this terrible policy.I’m sure they have a “reason” but it’s certainly not a positive experience for a customer.
