Just purchased a vehicle from Baxter. Juan was helpful and so patient with my kids who added some extra energy to the appointment. He gave me a lot of options for financing and made it easy. They were really accommodating and the whole process seemed like a breeze.
I took my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee EcoDiesel in to service for the EGR Cooler recall as well as 2 other recalls. The staff was nice and friendly no issues there, and they washed my Jeep after the work was done. However, a day after the service was completed my check engine light came on. π€¦ββοΈ Thank goodness my husband has a scanner, and he checked the codes. No surprise, a half a$$ job was done on the EGR Cooler. My husband was able to fix the issues. Then the mechanic supposedly did a multipoint inspection. Well, there was no mention that my oil needed to be changed or a few other minor maintenance things should be done. So, Im not sure what they do for this so-called inspection. They are supposed to check for leaks or any other issues with the vehicle. (I have a leak from a hydraulic engine mount, but nothing was mentioned about that and that it needs to be replaced.) If you decide you want to have their Service Department work on your vehicle be sure to have them go over the work that was done with you before leaving.Update to review- I received a call from Baxter regarding my review asking if there was anything they could do to make the situation right. I was able to provide them with additional information on the work that was performed on my vehicle. I am adding an additional star to the review as they seemed genuinely concerned about the service performed. The reason I posted this review is so others are aware that this could potentially happen especially owners of EcoDiesels.
I had two totally different experiences when there was a chance that I would be trading with them, to when I told them I found a better deal elsewhere. Long story short, I was interested in trading in my Dodge Ram. It has been having issues with the electrical system (covered under warranty), and was told that I should take home the truck I was interested in and to leave mine, because no matter if you trade with us, or not, we are going to get your truck into our shop and have our technicians diagnose it and figure this out. When I brought back the truck that I had test drove (overnight), and told them that I found a better deal at a different dealership, all of the sudden their service department was backed up and wouldnt be able to get to much truck for days. I decided that I wasnt going to do business with them and am not planning on doing any business with any of the Baxters moving forward. I felt that I was treated totally different when I went from a potential customer, to just another service appointment.
In the market for a new truck but only needed a part the other day. Arrived shortly before the parts department closed and asked the front desk person to call parts and have someone meet me at the desk. She said she would. After waiting about 10 minutes I checked again. She assured me they were on their way. Another 3 minutes go by and I ask someone else who tells me they are probably gone now but try in back. When I arrive the one guy left said no one ever called. The 2 stars is because this gentleman was extremely helpful. However, if they are not interested in delivering good service for small business why would I trust them helping with a large purchase? Ill be purchasing a vehicle somewhere else.

I recently purchased my Jeep Wrangler from Baxter at village point and I worked with Tim. He is extremely nice and really knows how to work with the younger generation. This was going to be my first βnewerβ vehicle that I was purchasing and I was already hesitant on making my decision as vehicles cost a lot of money. I came there to look at 3 jeeps and none of them were what I wanted, and he talked to me about a bunch of options and offered to contact me if a new one was brought in. We communicated a lot and I went out a week later and looked at 2 more. I ended up falling in love with one of them and he talked me through the entire process (finances, detailing, etc). The vehicle was a new trade and needed to be detailed and certified and he worked with me on the process after that since I couldnβt take it with me the day I bought it. He assured me that if it wasnβt in the condition I expected it to be, he would find a solution. I went to pick up my jeep a week later and everything was perfect! He followed up with me to see how everything was when I picked it up and was just excited as I was! Tim made a process that couldβve been stressful very smooth and easy. I am very grateful of him and everything he did to pair me up with my new Jeep! 1000% recommend working with him if you buy from Baxter.

I came in knowing exactly what I wanted. I was helped by Tim who was really nice! He let me test drive it right away! I was in love. When we came inside i sat down and explained to him my exact situation such as, my credit, loans, everything. He told me there would be no problem getting it. I told him I couldnβt have a co-signer either because I donβt have anyone reliable in my family like that. He said no problem. I get it home and realize there was a huge dent in the box of the pickup. (Yes, I know I should have double checked on the lot) but they should have also mentioned it and not stated that the vehicle had no previous accidents. Because that is an accident. I called Baxter and they told me they could fix it for $1000 even with me having the warranty. No thanks. I can get it cheaper somewhere else. Then a week later they called and told me I had to put more money down than I already did. AND if I could have a co-signer which I clearly stated before we even tried to get the vehicle that I couldnβt. I am not happy. This isnβt the first time this has happened either. This happened in January to us as well. We just thought it was a one time deal. Guess not. DO NOT LET PEOPLE TAKE THE VEHICLE OFF THE LOT IF YOU DONT HAVE EVERYTHING SET AND RIGHT.
I really enjoyed working with the people I worked with. I worked well with the used car sales manager. With my credit being fair Eric and Noah was able to get something used but certified used with great mileage and fairly almost new car only three years old. I will certainly be back again. Noah made it smooth for me to email all my documents and not running around all day to find a printer which I thought was convenient. I will be back in the future. I enjoyed my time and was blessed to have good people to help me out and made my car buying experience quick, easy, and allowed me to get what I was happy with. Thank you guys
I recently had the pleasure of buying a used Jeep Patriot with Baxter. As soon as I stepped in the door, I felt like a valued customer. The staff there were genuine and professional. They were able to answer all my questions which made me feel comfortable. They even delivered the Jeep to me which was truly appreciated! Tyler, Stacy, and Mitch worked really hard with me over the course of 3 days and the effort was worth it. There is a very nice 2019 beautiful Dodge Ram sitting out in our driveway. Tyler worked really hard putting it all together, Stacy is one of the best in the business when it comes to finance and Mitch he is the guy who puts the final touches on it all.
All around poor experience. Every time i enter baxter on 180th, no one wants to do anything. I stand in front of each desk/counter and I get a glance, then nothing. I go to the next desk/counter and nothing again and again. Ill just take my business elsewhere. I know it will make them happy. Thanks for nothing, again.

I purchased a 2018 Subaru legacy, that I loved until a tree fell on it. I had a great experience working with stewart akrin. He made the purchase as easy of one as I have had. Before purchase and after the tree totaled my car. Stewart was pleasant to make a deal with. I will definitely give him another shot at helping find another great car in the future.
Did have some titling issues, however, Im sure the issue was unforeseen. Was unable to contact someone directly about the issue was always sent to voice-mail with no calls being returned. After contacting an outside agency for assistance, Baxter did step up and buy back the vehicle I purchased but also offered me an upgraded vehicle at the same purchase price. There were a lot of challenges trying to make this trade work, paperwork became difficult. However the financing manager Noah Seaman took it upon himself to make sure the situation was taken care of properly, and he went as far as giving me his cell phone number to contact him directly on any issues. In the end, everything was done with satisfactory. I will attempt to purchase a vehicle here again in the future, to give them a chance to perfect my buying experience. π
This is only for my car salesmen, Daniel Rose. I wasnt going to buy a vehicle at all. This man not only found a great deal for me he busted his butt to make sure I was happy and taken care of. If you stop in ask for him. He will do what he can to make sure your needs are met as well as trying to find a perfect deal for you. He absolutely cares about his customers.
Friendly and honest staff! If you live in the area--or even two states away--go to Baxter! They will take great care of you!I had been searching for months for a very specific Jeep Gladiator and I finally found it at Baxter, but I live 1,000 miles away in Utah. From the first call, Charlie in sales and Jose the manager were very responsive and quick to answer all of my questions. It was clear they wanted my business but were going to earn it through outstanding service. After texting them some pictures, they quoted me a value on my trade-in that was a few hundred dollars higher than market. The total deal looked great with the lowest fees I have ever seen.It was still a leap of faith, though, to trust this unknown dealership and drive all that way. On the way out, I kept thinking that they had all of the leverage--a car I really wanted, the fact that I had driven so far and probably did not want to go back empty-handed, and that I am not local and not going to talk negatively about them to anyone local if the deal does go sideways--and wondered if they would stick to our agreement or use that leverage to try to change things in their favor.The minute we arrived, they came out to greet us in the parking lot, escorted us in, and introduced us to the team. They were open and friendly and instantly made us feel completely at ease. Most importantly, the deal went down exactly as we had discussed via phone/text/email to the cent!The whole experience was amazing and exceeded my expectations! Great vehicle, price, sales staff, finance team, extended warranty (I have purchased a few and theirs is a good one), and buying experience. I really cant thank everyone at Baxter Jeep Omaha enough for making my dream come true of owing this Gladiator. I feel like I will always be part of their community.
When I tell you I have been in panic mode and stressed lately I have been. I got into a car accident July 11th and did not know what I was going to do. I start a new job soon and could not think what to do for a vehicle. I was recommended to go talk with Kenneth Johnson about my options and boy am I glad he did! I actually felt like he was actively listening to me and was able to help me narrow down on a choice. I originally just wanted you talk about options was not sure I was going to buy/lease. Mr. Johnson made me fully aware of my choices and we were able to pick the best one for me and I actually drove off the lot with a brand new Jeep Renegade that I absolutely LOVE! He made the car process a lot less stressful than I originally expected and I appreciate him so much for that!
Everything was to be expected with buying a truck, nothing out of line there. I found out on the first rain the truck literally leaks water. Pictures show the back corner of my headliner soaked, water comes out when you push into the headliner. Water also runs down the inside of the rear window in three different spots. Get everything set up to get this fixed only to find out there is no loaner available for me to drive. Suppose to get a call when one is available, over a week later still no call back from service. After I told my salesman about this, I received a call from a manager, stated he could get me a loaner no issue and would check with my service advisor to make sure the parts were in and call me back. Still no call back. This is what a $40K plus certified truck from Baxter looks like.
Apparently Baxter dodge doesnβt top off fluids when you get an oil change done. My coolant is low and oil is low again even 2 days after I get the car back from them fixing the radiator and having them do an oil change on it. Guess have to take it to woodhouse in Blair where I purchased the vehicle if I want it done right. π€·ββοΈ
Both my salesman (Sam) and manager (Eric) were very easy to deal with. They made my buying experience efficient and seamless. They were very professional and were highly knowledgeable. I was in and out in no time and they got me a great deal. Iβll definitely be returning to this dealership and purchasing from them again.
Would really save someone time if their website reflected their inventory in a daily basis. Went to go see about 2 specific jeep wranglers they were supposed to have on the lot as their website said they have 16+. They had 3 new ones up front and they said they hadnt seen those in over a week. He inquired about the papillon jeep dealership and he said they didnt have what we were looking for in stock over there. Good thing we called ourselves as we ended up test driving 3 variations which helped us decide exactly we wanted. I get the supple is low and the demand is high but there needs to be better customer service at this location.
I came for maintenance. I have jeep Cherokee 2019. It was almost 20000 maintenance. I have oil change and general check included in my car deal. They said you need tire rotation and this is not included and will cost 29$. I said sure! I took the car and went home. Fortunately I had to put some air in the LEFT FRONT tire two weeks prior this visit and I noticed scratch in this wheel. After I came home I noticed the wheel still in the same place LEFT FRONT.I called them and asked if they did the tire rotation. The customer service said I am not sure you can bring it back and we can do the tire rotation. I was busy and I said you guys should come and take the car. She said we are busy and I will let the manager call you.The manager called one hour later and he said we did the tire rotation. We did rotation for all of them except the LEFT FRONT as it looked in a good shape. I was shocked to be honest. I know tires get affected at the same level esp. if they both front or both rear. If you tell 5th grade about what he said will not believe it.
Was scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on a Friday to get an oil change done got a reminder text from them about this go to dealership get told oh we quit doing oil changes at 12:30 were having our floors repolished. I received the confirmation text at 10:35 p.m. Thursday night. You cant tell me they didnt know that late Thursday that they were going to be stopping doing oil changes early. Baxter Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram is a serious disappointment I am going to make sure I never make the mistake of using any of the 22 Baxter dealerships for anything anymore.UPDATE:Randy in service called me about making this right. After a discussion I returned the next day and the got this taken care of. Randy understands that people have expectations for what they pay for. So I am changing the number of stars from 1 to 4. Baxter needs more people with his approach to customer service.
Yet another fantastic experience at Baxter last weekend! Despite the weather Sam was super helpful in finding exactly what I wanted. He made the process easy and fun while simultaneously entertaining my toddler. Enrique was great at breaking down the financial portion and didnt make the deal a spiel. Ill be looking forward to my 3rd purchase!

Matthew helped me get a better, newer vehicle after my current vehicle blew up on me. Heβs hard of hearing and gets overwhelmed easily. Every person at Baxter especially our salesman Matthew Nerz, made my dad so relaxed and took time to explain and simplify what we needed to know. He helped us narrow it down, he made it quick and easy. No hassles, no back and forth. It was honestly the best experience we could of had! My dad shopped for days at other places and wasnβt happy. He said once he came here he knew he was in the right place. Itβs just a better experience. The people are nicer, more patient, and you can just tell they care to get you in the right vehicle. Its rare that I write a review on anything, but the level of service and quality of work I received with Gavin at this location is second to none. I have a fleet of vehicles with my business and have experienced every other auto-shop around the area, and Gavin has gone above and beyond every single time. I dont trust anybody else with my vehicles and he is the first to follow-up with me on any questions or concerns. As a prior Marine officer I find it comforting to be able to trust the job is done correctly the first time; he has continued to impress me each and every time I come in. His plate may be full on a work-day, but Ill wait and by-name request each time I have a vehicle. Todd was also an amazing the times I came in. His professionalism and customer service at the front desk reflects positively on the entire operation. Outstanding work gentlemen. You have earned my trust and loyalty.
I got my truck in August of 2019. Since then its had two recalls and one warranty related issue. This location is the only one Ill take my truck to. I have a Baxter CDJRF closer to me, in La Vista, but Ill still make the 20 minute drive to this location and work with Mike because the customer service I have always gotten here is the best Ive gotten at a dealership, by far. Ill definitely keep bringing my truck here. When we upgrade my wifes Wrangler, well be bringing it here for service, too. Thanks guys!

The car was door dinged unlike the description and they were unwilling to negotiate on the price. For a used vehicle that was already overpriced and on top of that it was damaged. No negotiation and unfriendly staff, Id recommend looking elsewhere.*Update*I reached out to them as they requested and was directed to leave a voicemail, never received a call back from them.I went to Woodhouse instead and they were extremely helpful and made sure I got a vehicle I would love even if that means giving up the commission.

This is a review of Baxter and of the sales associate I worked with Matthew Nerz. I drove by today not really expecting to purchase a vehicle, but I saw one that I fell in love with immediately. Matt showed me the car and let me take it for a test drive. Everyone at the dealership answered all my questions clearly, made sure I really loved the car and was going to get the best deal possible.I was worried about unseen repairs I might have to do, but there is a 3000 mile/3 month warranty for any kinks that might show up! And so, I went from not expecting anything to purchasing a car Ive dreamed of purchasing since I was a kid. Thanks everyone! So helpful.

I bought the extended warranty which includes road damage to your tires, made an appointment for oil change. They changed my oil and let me know only one of my back tires were fading way faster than the rest. They said they could replace it for free under my warranty but I would have to make an appt due to covid. I made an appointment 3 weeks out. Took my car in for said appointment to get the tire replaced, they said the tire was there and everything was good, and I wanted them to look at the stuts because it sounded funny. They said it would take one day. I called the next day to see when I can pick up my car and they informed me they couldnβt get to it until four days later. I called them on the fourth day to see if it was done, they still hadnβt even looked at it. They called me on the fifth day to let me know that they replaced my sway bar. I asked them if they replaced the tire THE ORIGINAL REASON WHY MY JEEP WENT IN. Randy said he had no idea we were doing that, and they didnβt have the tire any more so they would have to order it. I am baffled by the communication with Baxter. Not just with their employees with me, but the communication between the staff. No one knows whatβs going on. They all give you the run around. I will NEVER buy a car from them again.

Wow... Just Wow.I had thee best experience here!! Got myself a Bitchin Jeep Sahara!! Worked with an awesome Salesman (Sam) and finance-man (Carl). Sam really went above and beyond for us! He made it possible for my Hubby and I to get in and get signed up for the vehicle we wanted .Even though we didnt have our down-payment available yet. He found me exactly what I wanted and wasnt afraid to take that vehicle and make it mine!
Not sure why they make appointments for service. Set up an appointment 1 week out and had a 9:30a appointment because multiple safety features not working- 4 wheel service light, ABS light, Traction Control Light, Park assist Light and no cruise control along with transmission not shifting properly. At 5pm they still had not looked at the vehicle to determine a cause. I could have probably received a detailed report if I had brought it in for an oil change.
Whenever I need to purchase a vehicle the first person that comes to my mind is Ken Johnson. He is my go to car salesman! I have purchased multiple vehicles from Ken and plan to continue my business with him in the future. He provides an amazing customer service experience! We had interest in a vehicle with talking to a sales representative for days finally negotiated a price on a Thursday. Sales representative knew we were coming the next day Friday we contacted him that morning to confirm all the paperwork would be ready and the price changed on us overnight. The salesman completely lied to his boss the manager about ever having a discussion about it we have it recorded that Pacific price was negotiated And they didnt seem to care. Manager rudely told us you either buy it for this price or you dont buy at all we dont care if we get your sale.. Completely shocked and in disbelief I was speechless on why I was going to be treated this way..beware of this dealer ship

Multiple trips to have addressed got vehicle home and check engine light came on, OBD scanner showed three stored codes which meant they were prior issues likely cleared by service team and not disclosed. **Update Sales leader Eric Johnson (I think) called me the day I posted this asking for me to call back, I did, left message, zero calls back.***

Bought a fantastic Jeep Unlimited Sahara here. Did all the paperwork over the phone and flew in to pick it up. Had a small hick up as I was not happy with the tire wear. We came to an agreement with that and I left happy. Scott in finance was great and Danny with the customer satisfaction team was great too!

Will and Bailey were great to work with. Test drove a vehicle on a Saturday and came back Monday evening to purchase it. Both stayed well past closing to help us finalize our trade-in and purchase and get us on the road back to Lincoln in our new truck. Noah in finance was great as well and provided answers to all our questions. All involved at this Baxter made a normally stressful process a breeze.
When I walked into the Baxter store, not knowing exactly what kind of car I really wanted, I was met by Matt Pepek, told him I was looking for a vehicle that would be easy in and out for a senior (me)! I picked a 2017 Outback that he had shown, a perfect fit for me and we made a deal within an hour. Matt seems to really know the business and I would do business with him again! I had a 9am appointment for an oil change and a recall on the floor mats for my 2019 Ram. I arrived about 8:45am. At 10:30 or so I hadnt received an update so I asked the service agent where we stood with getting it completed and he said that it got looked at by the technician at 9:45am. About 30 minutes later the work was completed. It obviously wasnt ideal for an oil change to take over 2 hrs. All other visits prior to this one were good. This one just took too much time out of my day.
Your typical experience at a car dealership getting a lease can be stressful and time consuming! At Baxter it was everything BUT!! The process was very quick!! Scott and Kennan had paperwork ready to go and the finance office worked their magic to get me the best deal! Thanks Baxter!

Took my Jeep in for 2 software recalls. There was a third open recall that I was informed when making the appointment did not have an approved part and would not be performed. However, when I got home my car began smoking and spraying coolant and oil all over my driveway nearly catching fire. They βperformedβ the third recall without informing me or asking permission. I appreciate that they towed my car back to the dealer and gave me a loaner car for a few days but upon picking my own car up the service tech was EXTREMELY dismissive about my concerns over the long term effects of coolant contaminating the oil might have on my vehicle. Just told me βshouldnβt happen again.β Worst experience I have ever had at a dealer.

He was careful to pay attention to the details and I didnt have to compromise on any of the things that were most important to me. He made the deal happen within the budget that I needed. Just purchased a jeep Cherokee from baxters motor. They had a great selection of cars to choose from, we actually bought a different color then we originally planned on, because you get to see all these different colors next to each other. Our sales person was Wil VK, and he explained everything about how the car works, the engine, safety features and just how well built they are. If you want a great salesperson, he will take care of you.
Pretty disappointed that I was ghosted by one of your salesman. We were trying to work out a deal with my trade in and I was contacted once by the salesman Rodney who said he would call me back and then called by another guy who never called me back either. Its very obvious that customers calling over the phone are not important. I live two hours away and dont want to drive all that way for no reason. Doesnt seem like a great dealership to deal with.

Terrible management of service appointments. We had an appointment to diagnose an engine light at 9:30am. Showed up on time. After two and a half hours of waiting, they still had not even looked at the vehicle. What was the point of making an appointment?
Wil VanderKallen with sales took good care of me. I purchased a used vehicle drove from Des Moines Iowa to get it . Even tho the truck ended up heating up on me. I brought the truck back in and Wil made sure service took it in to have it worked on. Iβll be purchasing a new truck in the future from Wil once this truck shortage ends.
