Really phenomenal coffee and a quiet working atmosphere. A cute little find for my day!
Very hipster with a basic coffee menu. I got a cold brew and it was good!
Currently my favorite coffeeshop in Omaha. 5 stars across the board for coffee, price, atmosphere, location, access, and service. Dont expect sandwiches. For now theyre straight forward beverages and breads. Good by me. The wifi was reliable, and everything about this place was so chill.
Best Smoothie Ive ever had! The young man working the counter was also very friendly, sweet spirit.
Stopped here because the smell of coffee outside compelled us.My friend got a coffee but I got the blueberry scone. They have a limited amount of pastries that they do baked in-house daily. The only item that isnt are the croissants that they get Frozen and finish baking there. This is pretty common practice so I am not surprised. The scone was very affordable at $2.50 I believe and tasted great.they also have a small number of vegan items usually baked in the morning but those can sell out very quicklyService was very friendly once you started talking to the staff.Parking is available on the street and was free I believe.
Super friendly staff, delicious coffee, great atmosphere - what more could you ask for in a local coffee shop? Also, great location in Dundee, with plenty of parking, inside and outside seating and a great vibe!
The most divine mocha I’ve had in years. The milk was so frothy!! Such a good price. Love the casual, local feel or the place.
My Aunt and I had medium vanilla lattes and scones. I have to say that they serve the BEST, I mean The BEST vanilla latte I have ever had!!! Thank you for the best day ever. We will be returning.
By far best priced coffee in omaha for fair trade organic coffee. Cant beat it. Got all these coffee places beat. Very friendly staff and knowledgeable in their craft. Accepting of people of all creeds, classes, and colors. Thank you.
IF YALL WANT CUSTOMERS, PUT UP YOUR MENU OR SEASONAL FLAVORS UPZen Coffee is super successful because theyre always on all platforms updating their information! You cant rely on trying to be a secret indie café if potential customers cant see what you offer in terms of drinks, flavors, milks.Update your Facebook page and Google menu what the heck guys.Your website is literally one picture with no relevant information.
Graet coffee place for coffee lovers. I ordered a white chocolate mocha and the delicious chocolate chip oatmeal cookies. They were delicious and I ordered some more for my friends to try the cookies and they loved them. This place is a very cool place and I personally liked it. I would come to this place every day to drink my coffee and eat those tasty chocolate cookies.
Best staff. Great place to play chess while hearing jazz music.
My griend just took me to this treasure. Coffee is very good and they have very good food options if you want to indulge or go healthy. The staff couldnt be more helpful and friendly.
Really good coffee, first time there. Staff kind of seemed irritated we didnt know what we wanted when we first walked in. Otherwise great place.
Basically the perfect coffee shop.
Nice and simple local coffee shop. Coffee is decent. Good place to relax n enjoy Dundee vibes!
Good coffee and pastries, good service, and good vibes altogether.
Love it! Love their diary free options, the decorations, and the baristas.
This location is one of my favorites. The place has an awesome feel to it.
First time there barista and coffee was great
Super friendly service
The shop atmosphere creates a wonderful feeling of local progressive safe space. The prices keep me coming back. I love the variety of coffees, teas, and snacks.I am a patron and will continue drinking my coffee and meeting my friends here for years.
Surprisingly inexpensive place that doesnt sacrifice quality! I ordered a latte which came with great latte art from the barista. Feels like a hometown coffee shop. Eclectic decor and homey atmosphere. They have some unique menu items like cold brew, Thai tea, and flavored hot chocolates. Great location in Dundee with a bench outside if you want to grab a coffee to go. Good wifi service as well.
Last Sunday my date and I went there it was the worst experience Ive ever had at that coffee shop. Normally the atmosphere is great The vibes are positive however it was made very clear by the young woman behind the cash register that we were not welcomed. I ordered two lattes large expecting to have them served as usual in big blue cup with a sauces. Instead we were given two to-go cups when I asked her about the other cups she said they were the same amount of coffee but still did not give us the normal cups instead she gave us the to-go cups. Very subtle hints but the message was clear we do not want you here. The experience was terrible and very frustrating next time Ill go on a Saturday, but I will try going back on Sunday as well maybe it was just an off day for them Im not sure but I do plan to find out.
Support your local businesses. Friendly staff, short wait time and a nice quiet neighborhood to enjoy your drink of choice. Better flavor than the global chain stores. I used to frequent the downtown location but its closed now. Highly recommend this spot.
I enjoy the coffee experience at Blue Line. I dont go often because I dont live or work in the neighborhood. But Ive gone there enough over the years that I recognize baristas and regulars and its nice to see them again when I do visit. Its a quiet atmosphere with jazz playing over the speakers that serves as pleasant background noise. I enjoy the people that patronize the place and the baristas that work there. Very fitting for the Dundee neighborhood.
Great staff, nice and clean caffè, good coffee I got suggested by the Lady behind the counter. I really enjoyed my time at your place and will be back as soon as Im back in America. Its not easy to find good coffee in the states so if you happen to be in Omaha Nebraska, go to this place and enjoy. Must be even better in summer when you can sit outside and enjoy the sun with your coffee.Greetings from Europe and see you soon!
Good Sumatra blend! Followed COVID precautions well
A great, chill and quiet place to work or do schoolwork. The coffee is great and just a nice, historic atmosphere
Very cozy coffee shop with solid baked goods. I visited the for the first time recently and ordered an Americano and a chocolate croissant. The espresso was exceptional, not overly bitter and priced more fairly than most other shops in town. The chocolate croissant was freshly heated (possibly baked entirely) and totally delightful. I am excited to have a new quite place to catch up with friends.
Great coffee blends at a competitive price. Perfect neighborhood atmosphere. Chris and his team do a great job. Stop in Omahas Dundee neighborhood and sit outside on the sidewalk and experience a walkable urban neighborhood in Omaha Ne.
It is a good place to chill out. They have wifi and the neighborhood is cool.
Quaint, dimly lit coffee shop with plenty of tables. Take some time to check out the photos, maps, and other pieces of Omaha history hung on the walls!
Its a small, cozy business located in a nice area and serves great coffee with a delicious variety of muffins. You can also use your computer while youre there.
We spilled our full cup of cider. They quickly cleaned up and made us another one. Excellent service and the hot cider was delicious, too.
This is probably what you’re looking for if you want coffee and an atmosphere. And it’s great for both of those. If they would just get software the lines might go a little faster.
While visiting potential neighborhoods in Omaha to move to, my wife and I stepped into this coffee shop. From the mom playing with her baby (we have a toddler) to the type of event posters stuck to the counter wall, we immediately knew we found our place. Hoping to become regulars in the near future because the menu is also outstanding.
Great little space in dundee. What they lack in decor they have totally killed with offerings. If i lived in the area, Id totally just sit in there all day... ☺
Very nice little shop. Affordable and tasty.
Good coffee. The staff was helpful by helping me w my drink/order. Ill be back. The environment was very relaxed. Very chill. The clientele was diversed. I loved it.
Great prices with a great vibe! I came here to work, but everyone seems to come here every day to chat and catch up. Definitely wishing I wasn’t working!
The Jasmine mint tea is really good
Nice place with outdoor seating and indoor. Little cramped but they also have a bathroom and a nice cafe next door. Easy to find and get to from Dodge
Good coffee, fair service, dirty bathroom. Great location.Went there last month. The grime on the bathroom floor and door was off-putting. At least in the ladies room. Old buildings can be difficult to keep clean but I know the grime wasnt a stain because I took a wet paper towel and wiped a streak though it.If they dont take care in cleaning a bathroom, how much care do they take cleaning their food preparation areas and equipment?I did point it out to a barista, who received the feedback with a flicker of eye contact. Ive yet to be back but expect I will. The nice thing about hot coffee is its a fairly safe beverage to drink even if the environment isnt as clean as one would like.
I was happy. Hot Chocolate is very good!
Great coffee and fruit smoothies. The prices are fantastic and lower than most other coffee shops in town. Theres a few tables outside on the patio and a ton of seating inside.
The Thai iced tea is delicious, but I would have enjoyed it more if I could drink it in a coffee shop that prioritized cleanliness a little higher. This place has a vintage-y vibe, is popular with hipsters, and is in a very lovely location. The enjoyability of this place could be greatly improved by running a mop over the floors a couple of times a week - at least. Didnt venture into the restrooms, but by taking a look at some of the other reviews, Im glad I didnt. Great jazz playlist, by the way.
The coffee and baked goods are great. The people who work there could not be more wonderful. I *love* this coffee shop!
Best coffee and the nicest employees in Omaha
Great coffee. Love their whole bean, cant live without it.
Great tasting coffee with nice employees that know how to make a good cup of coffee keep up the good work
Stopped in on my way out of Omaha for a coffee. I got a cold brew and it was very good! The staff were friendly and the place had a unique vibe.
A nice authentic feel to it- real local type of place. Theres often a wait to get your drinks, but its worth it. A great place to sit and relax
Terrible! I’ve been here on several occasions and have had the worst experience each time. The baristas look like they want to kill you, and there’s always grounds or some type of solid in my drink no matter what I order. One time I called and asked and the barista hung up on me. I honestly don’t understand how this place is still open. Absolutely awful!! Take your business to Dundee Double Shot instead.
Real coffee, real cups. Great place
Great coffee, relaxed atmosphere, the perfect place to do some writing, work on some homework or get the day started.
Walk down here every weekend. The coffee is good and they sell by the pound you. Try the thai tea. It is brewed fresh and is great!
Blueline is the best coffee shop in town. Everyone is kind, you will most certainly know someone there when you go and the coffee is great. I am glad to have them in Dundee!
Clean beans
This place rocks! where better to go the next mourning after a late night in dundee. Besides my friend has meet so many cool people from his neighborhood and got to know his local community from Blue Line!
I think Im just weird because I dont like getting iced drinks in a hot cup? Sometimes theres a wait when theres only one barista. They close kind of early some days, makes it hard to have a study place. The espresso they serve is very good and the staff is generally pretty friendly.
I come here for coffee and wi-fi, they never fail to meet those needs. They are conveniently located and have a great selection of whole beans to buy by the pound.
Cozy environment, great beverages and snacks.
I recommend the chai or cold brew.
A great local coffee shop with good coffee at affordable prices.
Nice place. Closes early so keep that in mind. Omaha Famous for affogatos.
Decent coffee shop in dundee
Excellent coffee (they do pour overs) with an eclectic, neighborhood atmosphere. Good sandwichs too.
Great organic, fair trade, coffee. If you are a jerk dont go. Good place for reading.
I really enjoy coffee and have been looking for a favorite spot since I moved to Omaha a few weeks ago, but this definitely wont be it. The drink I ordered (The Blue Line Special) was decent enough, but thats about all they have for specialty drinks. They really only offer the basics - espresso, latte, cappuccino, etc. I prefer specialty drinks. The shop had a very busy, friendly, communal feel, but the barista seemed apathetic, almost rude. She never, ever smiled. And the shop was dirty. Theres a difference between a place having a cool, urban atmosphere and feeling as if the owner hasnt checked in on the shop in years (or just doesnt care). Ill be buying my coffee elsewhere.
Love the Blueline! I buy coffee there every week and sometimes a muffin.
Great local coffee shop. Located in Dundee. Love the location.
Give Starbucks a miss, save a few dollars and try this place for some yummy local small coffee shop!
Parking was terrible, facilities was terrible, the tea and cookies were good.
05/07/2018Laughably-backwards experience. OWNER: ALERT!Preface: I travel frequently and patronize restaurants/coffee shops often upwards of thirty times per week; only 3 of the past 300 experiences were negative, this one being such a standout failure that I felt compelled to share my experience and perspective.I visited when employee, Rex, was behind the bar.I ordered 4 drinks, and Rex was helpful enough to provide a recommendation (I was curious about the frozen cappuccino, which was great!).I have been frequenting this business (as well as the now-closed 14th street locat) for nearly 10 years, so I decided to add a T-shirt to my order. I purchased a navy Blue Line shirt (American-Apparel-made, formerly), before moving out of Omaha in 2014; and I have worn it coast-to-coast, receiving compliments and fielding inquiries all along the way—It’s one of my favorite articles of clothing, and I loved bragging about Blue Line!Rex informs me that the Army Green version that I requested was out of stock (along with the grey, brown, & black), so I ask if I can have the display shirt hanging, to which he declines, rudely informing me that he can’t sell it. Slightly taken aback, I mention that perhaps they should put the navy one on display, as it is their only offering. Rex rudely, sarcastically mocks my ‘suggestion’. As he’s tuning me out, he runs my card, before I can order a San Pellegrino water for my mother. I ask to purchase itseparately, which he then declines, stating he won’t run my card twice. Here I am, shocked: a merchant who refuses to run an additional transaction. As I have relevant industry knowledge, I inform Rex that such a practice is a violation of Visa Rules and Regulations. He then tells me that he does not care about my advice. I calmly remind him that perhaps the owner (whom I’ve met on multiple occasions) would care to know that he’s in violation of Visa’s acceptance requirements. Flustered and combative, he repeats that he doesn’t care at all. Meanwhile, the gentleman at the table behind me is witnessing this customer service trainwreck and laughs, shaking his head in disbelief.Though disappointed, my family and I will laugh about this exchange for the rest of our relatively few days on Earth. What I do not laugh at is the abhorrent, childish demeanor I had the displeasure of engaging—I pity Rex; at this rate, he’s not success bound in or outside of a cafe, with such horrible interpersonal skills or rather lack there of. He is a detriment to this business, and made it publicly known that he doesn’t care about the best interests of the merchant, who employs him. What I find funny (ironic) is that a customer who is eager to advertise for a business for free (the shirt is a wearable billboard; the wearer has a mouth and an opinion, mind you) is turned away and treated so poorly, in front of their family, no less; my attempt at an immediate repeat patronization is mocked and belittled.Needless to say, Blue Line won’t receive another one of my hard-earned red cents; I have also contacted my card issuer, to file an inquiry about this situation.ALSO: merchant does not accept American Express or Discover, which is highly inconveniencing.[Discover/Amex rates are actually less expensive than Visa/MC’s for half of their transactions and costs no additional monthly fee; sadly, they are turning away both loyal repeat customers and cardholders simultaneously]
My favorite cozy coffee shop, personal and light music ambiance
Staff is always rude and condescending. Has been for years, coffee taste terrible to boot.
Cozy little Dundee spot. Decent coffee, WiFi and polite baristas.
Great place!
Solid coffee, really friendly staff. Fair prices.
Great coffee. Love that they brew by the cup.
Wonderful place to get work done. Coffee is on point.
Best cappuccino Ive had.
Great coffee and excellent service!
Its so shabby and dirty looking. The bathroom is so gross. They play the same bad jazz station all the time. There is a 25 cent charge if you pay with a card which is in violation their merchant card agreement. Worst coffee shop in Omaha.
Blue LIne is the best tasting coffee in Omaha - especially the pour over at 14th street shop / modest prices and no bs
2orathna.tk
Nice little shop with plenty of options and places to sit.
Best coffee in town, and Ive tried them all.
Economical coffee pricing and friendly service. A little dark for a coffee shop.
Love the coffee and staff! They remember our order every time!
Need more outlets for electronic devices.
Desperation coffee. 1/2 better than gas station brew.
Great little coffee shop
Always a sure bet!
Best coffee and drinks hands down
The right size coffee shop in the heart of dundee.
