The experience I had at American Hearing was good but I do have some suggestions for improvement. I was treated very well and did have a good hearing test plus I was given hearing aids to try out twice to see if they were what I expected in hearing aids. When I was given the test and tried on the loaners I was given little training on how to use the hearing aids and the hearing aid chargers. Having had hearing aids from your company and from Costco it was assumed that I knew all about how the new hearing aids worked. There are a lot of details that needed to be covered before I left the store particularly how the multi-function button works and how to answer the phone so you can hear the caller in your hearing aids. Also how the program works on the phone to co-ordinate with the hearing aids. The book I was given was not filled out so I did not know the model of hearing aids I have. A suggestion that several phone calls could have been made to adjust the hearing aids to the phone. Plus get to know how to answer the phone without losing the call due to the fact you did not know how to answer so the call can go to the hearing aids or to the speaker phone. Also go over the program in the phone that coordinates with the hearing aids and show the customer how to adjust the volume, etc to their liking Another point were my ears properly measured to fit the hearing aids? Suggest that the hearing personal take the time to make the customer feel that he/she have been properly taken care to their satisfaction so that they feel comfortable with their new hearing aids.
I have had my new hearing aid for about three weeks now and LOVE them. I go to see a lot of live music and I could hear all the different intruments individualy and could understand all the vocals. It was amazing to hear all that I have missed for years! Thank You!!
Always helpful and friendly been going there since 2019 and havent been dissatisfied yet with the service it offers .. great hearing again!
I went in to get a new pair of speakers I call them😁. I had an outdated set. Im in my late 50s and started losing my hearing in my early 40s. I have super bad tinnitus, both ears. My hearing loss is moderate to severe. I met with Angie and she was so patient, kind & helpful!I ended up trying two trials. The staff did all the paperwork for me, it was so easy. She set me up with the Phonak Bluetooth smart hearing aids, and I absolutely love them! The Bluetooth works so good, and the microphones are amazing. When I use the phone thru them I ask if Im coming in clear, and they always say..very.👌Highly recommend American Hearing!
Love my new hearing aids and wonderful and helpful staff
The service I received was World Class. Angie Cerny went above and beyond. At first my insurance company wasnt going to cover very much. I talked with Angie about it and informed her I thought the insurance would cover 90% of the cost. She made several phone calls to my insurance company and was successful in getting it straightened out. I now have Bluetooth enabled hearing aids and they are amazing. The only thing that tops them is the service I received.
Great job. Individual approach to customers. very patient staff. we don’t speak English well enough, but Angela did a lot of work correctly
I have been with Glassman/Connect Hearing/American Hearing for over 20 years now. I had received nothing but professional and personal service from all of their employees. They have never pressured me into any sales, ever! You can trial your aids for 45 days and return them if you do not like them. Each of my hearing aids sets have lasted me 5 years each. They fit perfectly, do not whistle and I can hear the things I need to hear. Once fitted, the aids are shipped out and back to the office in less than a week, need loaners, just ask, they will help you, they want to keep all their customers happy! Again thanks for another successful and happy year! ch
Mark Glassman is great and very experienced. He is helpful and will take care of You until you can hear perfectly. Other review is too critical due to someone ear wax!!! Oh brother!!!
Poorly fitted hearing aids, follow-up substandard, defective product, poor service I took my mother to Glassman for hearing aids 2 1/2 years ago. She had an inital hearing screen done. No other follow-up hearing tests have been done. Industry standards recommend annual hearing tests due to age and conitnued hearing loss. My mother has had nothing but problems with the hearing aids she purchased. Her hearing aids have been in the shop for repairs more often than not. Over the last year we have taken in her hearing aids multiple times due to beeping sound from her right hearing aid, inability to carry on conversations with us due to porr hearing and the antenna keeps falling off.We take her in and its brief and often sends us stating the hearing aids are fine. Both hearing aids are poorly fitted as well. Mr. Glassman just tested the hearing aids on the computer and occasionally checked her ears. Our most recent visit in November in which Mr. Glassman checked my mothers ears and reported no ear wax and stated she needed to send her other left hearing aid in for an overhaul for $300-400 and her right hearing aid was functioning well. We opted to seek a second opinion. My mother is on a limited income and insurance does not cover hearing aids. She intially paid $1800.00 for her hearing aids. Due to the frustration with our most recent visit in November. First she went to her own personal Dr. and had her ears examined and both ears had large impactions of ear wax and had to removed at the Drs office. Her hearing was re-evaluated by Ear Specialists of Omaha today. My mothers hearing aids were ill fitting- she had lost weight over the last year and so her hearing aids fit poorly and hence she had a poor seal and this was why she was having the beeping sound constantly from her right hearing aid. Her left was ill functioning as well. Her hearing loss had porgressed from mild hearing loss 2 years ago to moderate loss at this time. The hearing aids she was sold initally were made for mild hearing loss. Knowing my mother was elderly and often hearing loss progresses as you age, she should have been offered a more progressive hearing aid. I feel Mr. Glassman is running a volume business and never really took the time to listen to my mother or my self and he was always very short with us, giving no or poor explanations as to why her hearing aids were not functioning. It has been a very frustrating process. Due to the frustration we are starting all over. My mother wil pay another $3500 for new hearing aids even though the hearing aids she has should last another 7 years. My mother was so frustrated with Mr. Glassman that she was unwilling to return and have the hearing aids re-fitted and repaired after not noting the hearing aids did not fit well/ missing impacted ear wax/ ignoring her symptoms.
