I wanted an oil change and had my own oil and filter. I called Walmart auto center and was told that they would charge me $15 since I had my own oil and filter, to be there the next morning at 7:00am when they opened. I got there at 7:00 but had to sit and wait until 8:00 for them to open up. I was the second person in line and was told by the female manager that I would have to pay $32 irregardless what I was previously told and the fact that I had my own oil and filter. $32 is the price they charge for an oil change with their oil and filter. She was also extremely rude about the situation. I ended up going across the street and received the oil change for $15, only charged labor for a quick oil change. I definitely wouldnt recommend Walmart Auto Center on Navarre Ave in Oregon.
Order tires, 3 came in, called,no answer, called again and again. Finally called for a manager, heres where it gets stupid. Reply: my manager is on break call back in 30 min please. They dont care about anything but getting through there day. We have been trying to find out about the missing 2 tires for 3 days, the person @ service has no clue and the manager is on break.Just poor busyness skills. Typical
Good service and price
Pretty quick for 1 guy working
They were helpful but didnt have the tires I needed said they had 3 in stock bit they couldnt find them.
Should update your hours. You don’t open until 8am. 😡
They did a really good job with my car and they were very thorough with the inspection to let me know things I should be aware of, so I can avoid future issues. The employees were friendly and they worked on my car in a timely manner.
I’m very unhappy with the service I was provided. The first issue I have is that I requested the power and performance oil change. According to the paperwork I was given (after the service had been done) it says the high mileage oil change was completed instead. I sat there for over 2 hours! I watched the mechanic take in another vehicle that arrived well after I did, and finish the oil change before he even started mine! it was 5 pm and I was already going to be late picking picking my child up from daycare. I was extremely irritated and at this point just wanted my vehicle back so I could pick up my child and make it to a 6 pm class I had scheduled. Finally, the manager came inside to ring up another customer. I expressed my concern about my vehicle not even being started yet. He promised 10 more minutes, hes working on it now” well, 40 minutes later it was finally done. The manager came in to ring me up. I ask him So since your mechanic is working alone and running behind, did he even perform all of the services that your sign says is included with this oil change he said yes. Well, I looked over my paperwork and see that it shows Transmission fluid and power steering fluid with the word “declined” next to it. Considering I didn’t decline this and I really wanted these things to be checked, I was furious that they weren’t! Manager says they don’t have the right equipment to complete that job! And then I see it says battery check declined also. I ask and tells me Oh, our tool isn’t working correctly so it was unsafe” I tell him, “well I wasn’t notified of this and I should have been because I would have chosen to go somewhere else, where the full service could have actually been COMPLETED! I said It’s not the customers fault you don’t have the right or working equipment for the services you advertise, customers shouldn’t be responsible for the full price when the job wasn’t completed He replied I agree; I’ll make that suggestion for you He then told me to come back after 3 months for my next oil change. I explained to him I was very unhappy with the service and would not be returning. He replied I don’t blame you. After I left, I noticed the mechanic didn’t even reset my tire pressure display. I went to air station at a gas station to do it myself and after checking the pressure on each tire I realized each reading was different than what he listed on my paperwork, which tells me he didn’t even check the tire pressure either!! At this point, I question if the oil change was even done properly and now feel the need to go elsewhere and have it done again!
Terrible customer service experience. To his credit, the young man working the register did his absolute best and was very polite, he was the only one working there. The whole place was in disorganized chaos, we waited for many hours.
Only giving one star because they seemed to do just fine installing batteries. However, I realize on my car its an inconvenience to have the front left tire removed in order to access the battery. I dont think, even with how busy it was on Friday, 3/10/2017, that rushing to put that tire back on it was a good move. Found out later all the lug nuts came loose and I was having terrible grinding and braking problems. All I can hope is the tire and lugs arent damaged. I drove at highway speeds on this, not exactly a comforting feeling. All I can assume is the impact tool or torque tool, whichever, was not used correctly.Check your tires before leaving Walmart, so you dont have any wobbling. Thank you for letting me know about the corrosion build up on the terminals, though.
Be very careful when getting your oil changed at Walmart. It is cheap but not at all worth it. I recently got my oil changed and I checked my oil later that night and my oil was extremely low. So I called and talked to the MOD who asked me to bring my car back in. They then told me it was OK because its within the Safe Zone. Still having oil problems I took my car to the dealer to find out they never changed my filter. If you are going to go to Walmart put a mark on your filter so you know if they actually changed it!
First time here. Arrived at 330pm on a Sunday. Got right in for an oil change and was out in an hour. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Nice to shop while your oil gets chsnged. Price is one of the lowest around. Takes a very long time to complete the job. Depending on how busy, it could take 30 minutes to 2 hours.
Too bad there isnt an option for a zero star rating. Took my car to the Oregon Ohio location for 2 new tires and an oil change. I was quoted 2 hours to have this work completed. At the 2 hour mark I noticed that they had still not brought my car in to do the work. I attempted to make eye contact with one of the employees and was ignored. I continued to wait 20 mins and at this point I am told my car is being pulled in and worked on. My car sat for another 45 mins with the hood up while 2 employees were arguing back and forth about a screw up on another vehicle. At this time the department manager is at the desk so I inquire what is going on with my car. I explain I have been waiting 3 hours and she hollers into shop for a status and is informed they dont know. I explain that I need to get home because my husband has to leave for work and they inform me that the oil change and the tires are not started. I asked them to halt the work and they tell me they can stop tires but they already drained oil from car. I asked the department manager what happened and she refused to make eye contact stating she didnt know. Enraged I went to front of store and requested a store manager. Only the assistant store manager was available and she was very nice and empathetic. She did provide me with a $20 gift card which I used towards my oil change I was still unhappy with the outcome. I have 2 bald tires on the front of my car and very few days off a month to get work completed. I now have to wait until next week to get tires done and will be paying more to get them done at a reputable business. I wasted 4 hours of my time and experienced the worst customer service.
Love these guys. Fair and fast
Came here for some new tires and an oil change. Service was spectacular.. So much, as I was passing through the town again.. I stopped in for another oil change when my next one was due. Could not have been more pleased with the speed of the second oil change. I was expecting to have some down time after picking up some items in the store(Bc lets be real.. some of these reviews 😩😒).. when I made it back to the autocenter.. my keys were waiting for me. Idk why there are all these reviews how bad their service is.. I was greeted each time by MORE THAN ONE PERSON (I was already being helped right away) the only thing I could complain about was when I came back just for the oil change.. another CUSTOMER was rude af to the employee having an attitude about the time her car would be done IF SHE BROUGHT IT IN. Maybe it’s just me.. but if I were a technician and got that kind of attitude.. bet your sweet cheeks I’d be taking my time. And what if your oil was thick and took a little bit longer to drip out.. 45 min for an oil change is pretty average. Even if you’re the only one there. I honestly think mine was under 30 min just for the oil change. The technician and the cashier were both VERY friendly, through the whole process. Oh I also got some wipers which are working out fantastic, shout out to the one who went in the cold to install them.
I have been going there for years, they do a nice job.
Convenient but other than that not a runner up for quick service. Expect it to take a while.
Nice staff just not very fast.
Took our car in last week for a slow leak in my tire, they patched us up and my family and I were safe again on the road. All for $10!!
Wonderful!!! They were fast and very helpful.
All business and very professional. They even vacuumed my car.
Very service oriented.
Only one tech on duty. Slow in and out. But oil change is $20 + tax, so what can you do?
They said an oil change would take 30-40min. Its been 2 hours and Im still waiting. I will NEVER! Come here again !
Customer service is questionable. No common courtesy when leaving the bay empty while youre waiting while they take their brakes. Was quoted an Hour and half and took over 2 hours. Will not be returning.
Employees were conversing more than working. My car was the only one in the bay and still took 45 mins to complete an oil change.
Took my jeep in to have tires put on And went shopping while we waited, over an hour (with 4 kids under 7). Just to have them say they cant get my lug nuts off.Stopped at a tire shop on the way home and it literally took them 5 seconds to get them off.
Went for an oil change over two hours later they didnt even get to my car yet got my keys and left
Very knowledgeable
