Talk about horrible costumer service from the store and the corporation. What kind of corporation does not get back to their cosutmers who have called multiple times. I bought a faulty ignition coil from there and it absolutely destroyed my car, it melted through valve cover through spark plug tube and shorted out my computer, 2300 in damages and they wont accept any responsibility for selling a defective product. I would BEWARE of buying anything from there horrible service. Store manager in Ottawa il never got back to us and his regional manager has not gotten back to us either just pathetic.

Not very knowledgeable, they rely way to much on the computers.Its not the staff because they were great. Its their system because I should not have to put in the year make and model for washer fluid.

Okay if you know what you need.

I dont know who the girl was that was working there, she seemed like a manager. Anyway, I had very nice gentleman helping me and she obviously wanted his attention for something despite the fact that he was helping me. She pretty much brushed me off and said, Yeah, the oil is on that wall and pointed and lead him away. Well guess what? What I needed was on the top shelf and I wasnt even positive which one I needed. Im 55 and struggle a bit physically. It wouldve been nice for the gentleman who was helping me to be able to help me a couple of more minutes. It was pretty rude of her. I then proceed to walk up to the register and all shes doing is explaining to the gentleman that was helping me before and another worker about some basic store stuff, just standing there talking up front. I mean that was so important that she had to drag this guy away as he was helping me?! JEEZ Anyway, the guy at the register was cool but she was pretty loud and obnoxious. Glad I dont live near this Auto Zone, Im just in town for a couple of weeks, most of the time I have really positive experiences with Auto Zone. Someone needs to learn some customer service skills.

Called yesterday for a part so I could just run in and pick it up today they didnt write down my name or have the part ready how hard it to write someones name down and get the part and put it on the shelf I had to wait there for 10 minutes and I should have been in and out

Battery on our van died from the cold. My friend gave me a jump start and told me to go straight to Autozone. So glad I did. As soon as I walked in, Nick gave me his full attention, walking me through the whole process thoroughly, but also efficiently. Very friendly service. Got our new battery installed quickly. Plus they offered a price match guarantee, so I got a great price on my new battery. I’ll definitely be back next time I need auto parts.

More than important than just good auto parts, this location has Top Notch customer service too! Nick was awesome to do business with! My Moms car wouldnt start and not knowing what the issue was, we started by removing the battery and taking it to AutoZone. Nick quickly took the battery to the back to test and sure enough, the battery was dead. Within minutes he explained our options for choosing a new battery, we chose the one we wanted, paid for it and were out the door in 10 minutes. The store was very clean and easy to navigate.

Spent 20 min. Waiting for 3 guys to find a part ; until they finially gave up. Then, they got mad at me. Like it was my fault they wasted all that time. What about my wasted time. Everybody goes here because its on the south side of Norris. Easy access. Let me tell you, its worth the extra effort to use Advance across the highway. Or even OReilly by Interstate 8.

The staff is not very helpful.I asked if someone would call me when a battery I had was on their tester to see if it was good or something else wrong with my truck was done testing due to I was not able to pick back up the battery till the next day.No one called me back.If youre not going to call after assuring me that you will then dont tell me that you will.

Been there twice both times I was told the part doesnt exist. A pcm diode and a starter relay. Awful funny I bought both online and both were correct and exist! I have a 10$ rebate card from buying wipers there but it seems everytime I try to burn it up they tell me things I know exist dont. Maybe I should going to ORiellys instead!

Went for a k&n cabin air filter cleaning kit, not in stock but will have it tomorrow. Stopped at Advance Auto first and was not in stock either, staff seemed like I was bothering them so moved on to a friendlier store and gave them my business.

I rarely leave a negative review for a place but my experience at this particular auto zone location was just awful. I suggest you go to one of the other auto parts stores in Ottawa. I called and asked over the phone very clearly if they had loan a tool sets for doing bubble flare brake lines, the fittings, and the line itself. The man on the phone said they did and assured me all were in stock. After driving 15 miles here I go in and ask for the things I did on the phone. The manager talks to me like I am an idiot for asking if they had the loan a tool and told me they dont even stock it. The entire time he wouldnt even look at me and seemed very rude and unhelpful. This is the last time I go here.
