Poor customer service. I went in to make a purchase today and was completely disregarded by management. The manager proceeded to count money in a safe instead of acknowledging that I needed to check out. Her colleague was complicit with her unprofessionalism, also ignoring me and other customers. Additionally he rolled his eyes when asked to service me. Completely unacceptable behavior. I will be making a formal complaint to corporate.

Contacted my home pharmacy in NJ to have my medication refill transferred to this RiteAid as I am visiting my son in Maryland and if I could give them a zero, I would! First they say my pharmacy said I didnt have any refills left (which was a lie) and they swore they called twice and was told thesame thing(still a lie) only to have them put me on hold and call my pharmacy who VERIFIED YET AGAIN AS I TOLD RITEAID TWICE BEFORE, that I did indeed have a refill. I received a call from someone at RiteAid stating that she needed to re-verify my info (which was actually the 4th time in 2 days) who told me my prescription would be ready in two hours. 3 hours later I go to the drive-thru only to be told my prescription WASNT READY YET. When I questioned this, I was told my prescription was deferred and I would have to come in to find out why. When I went inside I was told my prescription card had expired (I dont have a prescription card) and have never had any prescription filled at RiteAid before. I hand them both my ID and my Medicare card(both of which he never looked at) and was told without a card, I couldnt get my medicine. Now, let me be clear, I have NEVER HAD any other card BUT my Medicare card to get my prescription filled- NEVER. But he did tell me I could get my medicine if I was willing to pay $92 for it🤔🤔🤔. I refused and told them to transfer my refill to Walgreens instead because I know my medicine will be covered anywhere else but RiteAid. Im finished with them and will not spend ANY MONEY THERE EVER!!!

Horrible customer service, after making an appt for covid 19 vaccine, waiting for hours and the nurse wouldn’t even open the door or let me know when they would give me the shots and why they are taking forever. There are no lines for the vaccine. I have to abandon this appointment and go somewhere else.

EDIT 09/2021: Im sad to have to change my previous 5 star rating to a 2. The pharmacy is seriously UNDERSTAFFED. Errors regarding meds dosage, excessively long waits at car drive-thru, somewhat long lines inside the store, pharmacists and technicians seldomly picking up the phone and then putting you on hold forever.... The staff is very understanding and have good customer service, the head pharmacist is professional and polite, but they need more help. More technicians ASAP.*******************************************************Im here all the time for prescriptions and other minor needs. Staff welcomes you when you come in the door and that makes a difference. I love the new self check-out machines! The highlight is their pharmacy staff: routinely helpful and good at customer service, especially the head pharmacists! Well-stocked shop and clean. My only advice to management would be to have more people ready to cover as cashiers when line gets long.

I like this location because it is hours. I fill my prescriptions here. I cannot count how many times I go in to pick it up and its out of stock and nobody called to let me know. This has happened a few times.

Never had any problems or concerns. They have knowledgeable staff who are always friendly. The wait times are not very long especially when you call in advance.My last review was 3 years ago, so heres the update...I am absolutely surprised by the terrible reviews here. I have lived in the area half of my life 20+ since moving from another state and again I have never once had any problems from this pharmacy or the store. All the associates and pharmacists have been very professional, prompt and helpful with all questions, concerns, and for any recommendations. I would recommend my neighborhood pharmacy to all!

I frequent this location as it is close to my home. The interior was recently updated and is very nice. The exterior needs to be better maintained as the parking area is littered with rubbish.My major complaint is the pharmacy. It is consistantly under staffed. This is a management issue. The staff is tasked with answering the phone, performing prescription intake, filling scripts and manning the drive through window. Usually this is done with at most a staff of 2.I just used the drive through for the first time. I was the first person in line. It took 15 minutes. I will be shopping around for another pharmacy.Rite Aid wise up and take care of your customers AND you employees.

For a 24 hour place the service was incredibly friendly. I am literally shocked. You know what your getting into with these pharmacies, overpriced items for the sake of convenience. The drink section needs to be reorganized because it is a hot mess. Overall, what you expect with the bonus of good customer service.

This is one of the few 24-hours pharmacies in the area. They could convert a lot of customers if they cleaned up their act. Being that this is a 24-hours pharmacy, my doctor called in a prescription for anti-nausea medicine that my son needed to this pharmacy. I called the pharmacy to check when the prescription would be ready for pick up. I was told to call back in 20 minutes. When I called back no one answer my calls. The next day I finally got some one on the phone and they didn’t have any prescription for my son.

All I can say is, WOW!!! The store looks great and the Pharmacist, Olga and her team did a phenomenal job helping me save money on my prescriptions and answering questions about my prescriptions. I was going to transfer to CVS. But it looks like Im here to stay! The service was EXCEPTIONAL. Thank you so very much for your service

Pharmacy is completely under staffed. I had a script faxed over two hours before I went in to pick up. It was never filled. I waited an hour while the pharmacist was forced to check people out instead of enter and fill medication. This is horrible. There should always be a tech working with the pharmacist. The pharmacist definitely speaks English and is very nice. He’s only one person. I blame management. Get it together cheapo rite aid. Hire a tech.

The pharmacists ARE competent and they DO speak English. The problem is they need more organization or help in the pharmacy. Otherwise my prescriptions have been filled quickly and timely. I like the text reminders for refills. The store is generally clean and usually has just about everything in stock. I wish they had a broader cold beverage selection. The sales and coupons are a huge plus.

This is the first time Ive used this pharmacy and I was skeptical because of the reviews, but my 4yo daughter was showing signs of significant dehydration and we needed a pharmacy that was open on a Sunday night. Initially there was some delay because they hadnt checked their messages, but once I called to check the status, they checked and started working on it right away. There was some difficulty getting the insurance to go through correctly but they worked on it until it was resolved and made sure we got her medicine. Even with the delays, it took about an hour. Im very pleased and appreciative - they may have saved us a trip to the ER tonight.

Besides the fact that most of the staff is not that quick to begin with oh, the cash registers Ive got to be the slowest Ive ever seen in any store in my life. No matter what your transaction it takes forever to ring it up on the register. Besides that the too much paper is wasted in the receipts

So the first day I drop off my prescription the lady said they had it in stock it will be ready today well I waited a hr and then left Im not spending a day in that place so I called they said they dont have the one but they have the other okay cool I will take the one for now they said we will text you when ready never got anything have it a couple days I called they said oh we still have it okay wasnt ready still so I called sunday they said oh we still have the one and the other Im like I know this thanks when will it be ready Im just getting frustrated now so tonight I called he says to me oh we will have to order it and it will be here tomorrow or wednesday like now Im over it they never can get anything rite they only have about 2 people working poor customer service I will for now on after this stick with going to walmart to get my prescriptionsThe reason I was coming here sense its more convenient but I rather go out my way.So update today is Wednesday I call they said they only have 27 caps available so they have to order more and wont be ready til next week now so its been a week last time I talked to them they said it will be ready Wednesday because they had to order it now I have to go get my papers and take it somewhere else never again this place is just getting worse

I am living in area for 4 yaers and this place has the worst costumer service ever. This pharmacy should be closed immediately. You have to wait for prepacked prescription for 3 hours. Pharmacy staff will substitute your prescription for generic without even notification or discussion with you. For that you will wait for 3 additional hours to get and then you will argue with pharmacy to prove to them that you are right. I lost my patient with this location. Better to drive to other place then waist your time.

There is no real point in them having a drive thru if they are not going to service customers properly. They are awful at the pharmacy drive thru and ignore customers 95% of time and wait even if you are only one in line is over 15 mins. If it were not my nearest pharmacy I would never go there. The woman in the pharmacy had enough nerve to tell me that Im not a priority since Im not standing in line in the physical store last time I checked a customer is a customer is a customer that is ridiculous have a good day you wont be getting my business.

Handed in 3 scripts hours ago, and also called to check in and find out if I could pick anything up. I live a block away, but I guess Im going to sleep without my asthma/COPD meds.Seems very dangerous, but these pharmacists think Ill survive.

On multiple occasions, I have tried to pick up prescriptions only to be given some excuse about why my meds arent in yet. Ill be told to come back on some specific date, and that the meds will definitely be in then. And yet again, I go in and hear more excuses.If youre a pharmacy incapable of filling prescriptions, what good are you?!

I had given my prescription slip and they told me that the medicine will be ready the next day by 3pm. So called the day of the pick up and they said come at 4 pm. Oh well..I was there at 4:15 p.m. waited 20 MINUTES in the drive through only to be told the medicine is not ready. We just got the medicine box, and we need to sort it out. When I explained that I have been waiting for this medicine for two days, seeing my displeasure, he told me to wait which I did and took him another 10 minutes and I got my medicine. They need to shut down the drive through. It is NOT SERVING THE PURPOSE OF SPEED AT ALL. One shouldnt have to wait that long to get a prescription filled. We need a competitor like CVS or Walgreen. Right now they are monopolizing the area and we have no choice. This is one of the reasons I ask my doctor to call the pharmacy to give them enough time to fill the prescription. Doctor couldve called them in the morning and I can go in the evening. The medicine is still not ready.. What is the problem? - is it inefficiency, understaffed or is it lack of time management. Someone needs to fix this problem. You have many dissatisfied customers.

And sometimes it is impossible to understand what the representative is saying on the phone- in this one instance the representative kept repeating the same unhelpful information would not explain exactly what she was trying to say.

I will never ever ever go here again. The pharmist was the rudest person Ive ever talked to. I was calling because I ran out of my anxiety medicine which is an ssri, it is bad to go without it for days. If anyone knows what ssris are and how, if you just stop, it can really affect your well being... My doctor is out but hes told me before to call and the pharmacy should be able to give me a few pills to hold me over. Also the doctor on call said the same thing. I called, first was on hold for about 10 minutes to have the rude pharmist man answer the phone. I told him the situation and instead of giving me other sudjestions or being even polite about it he flat out said no RUDELY. I asked why he couldnt give me an explaintion. I said my doctor told me I could ask that they should be able to give it to me. He said that my doctor doesnt know anything he tried to argue. I hung up the phone, called Walgreens immediately and they were polite and without any agreement gave me a few pills to hold me over. I will never go here again and suggest to everyone I know never to go here. Go to Walgreens they are polite and reasonable dont even give this rite aid the time of day.

This pharmacy serves a huge area with no other options (CVS, Walgreens) except to get involved with a grocery/department store. They are grossly understaffed. Overnight service is the worst--the phone doesnt get answered and there are some rude pharmacists as well. Thanks to pharmacist, Peter, its the only reason I havent transferred my prescriptions elsewhere.
