We didnt know where to go.. so we chose this little spot in a casino. I had a cheeseburger wife had chicken steak. Large portions and my burger was a perfect medium. Wifes veggies were bright green!

We like, not what it used to be but then again what is? The specials are good and we hit it up occasionally.

Waited an hour for food and no server came for refills during this time. The one time I actually got food here it was just ok. The salad I got was browned.

My wife had the steak and eggs and I had a denver omelet it was great

The food for the most part was good. My buddy got pancakes that werent cooked all the way through. Service was good. Right now they have a very limited menu

For nearly 5 years, my wife and I have been regulars at the Cafe with no problems until today. I was in town alone and stopped for an early dinner.I decided to try the rib eye steak. Bad decision!The steak was tough. The mashed potatoes were out of a box; the gravy was like water and the texas toast was nothing more than a hoagie roll cut in half and toasted. I could not finish any part of the meal. The iced tea tasted like it came out of a dirty container and I was unable to drink it.I expressed my concerns to my waiter and he was most apologetic. I told him the problem was in the kitchen. When I went to pay the bill, I again expressed my displeasure (very politely) and no effort was made to have it discussed with anyone even though a floor supervisor was leaning on the edge of the cashiers booth. This was a very disappointing experience and made me wonder if others who may have had problems were ignored as well. The two stars are for the service as that is generally always very good. No wait to be seated, and quick to take our orders. Long wait for the food to arrive but worth it. Food was great and our waitress was very polite. I would go back. For the non smoker like me it was not overwhelming.

The wait staff was patient with my family and very attentive. The food was good and the portions were great! The only thing we didnt like was the lingering smoke smell but it wasnt as bad as other hotels so I cant say we didnt expect it a little.

Food tasted great and was priced right. Great quality for the price, cheap with some happy hour appetizers. Service was a bit slow.

3rd Visit Encountered the Waitress from Hell-- Driving on this part of an extended cross country trip I stopped at the Gold Town Casino which has the Back Porch Cafe within. The waitress that evening was absolutely wonderful and honest about the quality of certain drinks when I asked, so I stopped in for coffee early the next morning. This time a different waitress was nicer still--and she gave me a large coffee to go without me even asking. But then I tried to get coffee there the next Saturday morning--yikes! All the tables were cluttered with dirty dishes and the solo haggard waitress was screaming and complaining that she was there working alone--and literally kicked a chair in anger right in front of me. Here abuse escalated-- and to make a dull and tedious story abruptly short, I departed without my coffee and glad I did. I found a much better place with really great coffee and nice interesting and courteous people to serve me.

Eggs were burn, but other than that, not bad.

We sat down for lunch. Someone left the door to the kitchen wide open. What I saw was the cook, no gloves on, not wiping his hands, between handling various bags of what appeared to be lunch meats. We got up and left. Paid for the 2 iced teas we ordered. In hinde sight I dont think we should have paid 4.28 for the 2 teas. Wont be back.

The food was good & they have discounts for seniors

The place had three other customers and it took 40 minutes to get our food. The fish and chips tasted like it came from the frozen food section from Walmart. No seasoning whatsoever. When we asked for ketchup, we were given a bottle that was practically empty.

Philly cheese steak, taco salad, chimichangas are good.
