This place is incredible!Authentic taste of French baking and desserts. We had the plain croissant, Ham and cheese croissant sandwich, macaroons and coffee. These croissants will live in my dreams, so delicious, flaky, and buttery.The macaroons we tried were lemon, pistachio and almond. The fillings were luscious and delicious, the cookies on the outside were soft in the bite, with a slight crunch to the outside shell. They were the perfect texture!

Absolutely one of our favorites in town - the best bread and croissants around! Real deal fresh baked french greatness. Everything weve tried is amazing but my personal favorites are the brie sandwich, ham and swiss croissant, lobster bisque on Fridays, lemon bar, beignets and the cherry turnover. You really cant go wrong though! Super friendly atmosphere too!

Fantastic place to eat. We recommend the tuna sandwich plus the soups are incredible. I hear the Brie is brilliant too. Service is great as well.

This bakery has quality goods. The olive loaf was fresh n delicious. A bit of a wait due to only one employee at this time and pricey. I would recommend this bakery .

Baked goods are excellent. Garlic Flutes are my favorite. 5 starsCoffee is better than your generic corporate options, but leaves a little to be desired. Could benefit from fine tuning grind/steaming techniques. 3 stars

I can’t even describe how incredible this place is. I came to Pahrump to ride my pedal bike big miles in Death Valley. They supplied me with the energy. A TRUE GEM. Not just for Pahrump, but for the USA. I’ve travelled all over the world multiple times and this is Hands down the best bread out there.

Our first time today. Visiting from out of town as my mom lives in a community close by. So this will be the main bakery we come to when we visit her.Will return to try other things but the creme brûlée was tasting off like it wasn’t refrigerated properly, so it went bad, or that it was old. The quiche was hard; perhaps overcooked, or also old. The macarons were good. I will try other flavors next time. They were the saving Grace to the visit since the chocolate chip cookie was also hard. Maybe it’s supposed to be that way?I did notice it’s understaffed so we will come back when it’s early and everything is fresh, and hopefully staffed. And then I will add an update to the review.

What a great bakery! A hidden gem in the desert! I was looking for a little pastry or donut for my trip back to Vegas. I wound up buying 3 pastries and 2 loaves of bread. My girlfriend, who happens to be a baker as well, loved the bread! She said it was better then anything weve gotten in Vegas.

Near Death Valley and would be a great place to pick up desert try the tiramisu.... Or the eclairs

I have lived in 10 countries in my 50 years, and spent every summer in France, I did not expect such a realistic and perfect French bakery experience in Pahrump, or even in Las Vegas, this is without doubt the most authentic French baked food Ive tasted outside of Europe, the baked Apple slice brought tears to my eyes. Bravo !

If you are looking for fresh delicious bread, this place offers just that! If you are looking for a sandwich with more than one paper thin slice of ham then this is not the place. I ordered the Parisian, ham and cheese sandwich which just wouldve been nice to actually taste ham in it. Very clean and quaint atmosphere. A bit spendy but their pastries are very fresh.

Their croissant can be a little more flaky and a little more buttery. The french macaron is top notch!

I don’t know why Google wants me to review this place so much, every time I log on they want me to review it? So I will! They seem to pride themselves on being a 5-star French bakery, but I think that’s stretching it, 5 stars in Pahrump, 3-stars in Paris. It was fine, to be fair, I only went once. I got their cinnamon roll, their bread pudding, chocolate chip cookie (or was it toffee? I can’t remember) and a chocolate cake. Everything was good. They seem more focused on their breads and sandwiches, I feel like I ordered the wrong things. Nothing blew me away but I’m sure the owner can comment how wrong I am and tell me what to try next time. People were nice and the place was crowded.

O happy bread is a hidden gem! The bread, the croissants, the macarons, the Madelines. Just try everything! The mushroom & brie soup is so tasty. Stop what your doing and just go!

Super duper excellent quiche... amazing fruit tarts and freshest bread anywhere as a whole make it there in the shop.... great price is very reasonable also their onion soup is very good...A genuine ...French Run... Bakery and FoodWill be definitely going back there and also mentioned & recommended it to several people already.The owners son was in. he is from France and we told him about some fun stuff to do for travels nearby..... also shared some pictures of 13th century town in France where my wifes two French cousins live...

So incredibly good! I called ahead to ask about their cake options for a birthday and they were so kind and walked me through everything they offered, and held just two slices of cheesecake since it was just me and my boyfriend for the occasion. When we picked it up they decorated them and it was very cute. We also got a few treats for breakfast and the quiche was 10/10, and the cinnamon roll was one of a kind, Ive truly never had anything like it. Wonderful all around.

Oh, O Happy Bread how I want to love you. Your baking is very good, you are the only choice in this desert called Pahrump, but you so act like the snotty French waiter in a Paris cafe; maybe this is intentional?In my last four visits, I live in Pahrump, only once has my order been correct. I understand you understaff the counter, but at eight dollars for a croissant with a slice of ham and a bit of cheese, or four dollars for removing a pastry from a case, maybe just maybe, the staff could warm up the pastry as asked or supply the little bits of mustard, or make a cappuccino and not a latte.Please I want you to succeed and be prosperous, but you are my love and hate cafe.It would take so little to elevate your cafe so far beyond anything here.

This place is a hidden gem. Had someone bring me one of there lemon tarts and now I visit every time were in pahrump. Do yourself a favor and get a bag of goodies for the ride back over the hump.

Have visited the Cafe a few times and so far, enjoy the baguette sandwich... the bread is great and liver pate a nice change from the traditional. Ventured into a few desserts but found them a bit too sweet. Was hoping for an éclair with custard filling, but that wasnt happening either. Maybe next time. And there are French heritage patrons, other than the owner, that live in the Pahrump area.... Hard for her to believe.

Gail helped me pick out some nice pastries and bread. Croissant was what I remember them being like in France. Chocolate torte was a treat that should satisfy anyone’s chocolate cravings. Excellent pastries.

Had to come in to Pahrump for half a day from our campsite in Death Valley...recommended to us by the camp host at Texas Spring campground. Very pleasantly surprised - nice atmosphere, the owners very French and attractive and friendly! The breads looked delicious and indeed taste very delicious! So glad we stopped.

This place is a Pahrump gem and were so glad theyre here. We love coming in for a treat once in a while and everything weve ever gotten was delicious! They even helped me out in a pinch once with some last minute macarons i needed for a quick wedding cake! Theyre so nice.

During our road trip we were craving for French food (cuz yes we are French!) and we found this bakery. It was just amazing! We really had the feeling to be back to France and yes we are picky! Bought the garlic onion baguette. It rocks.Since I 1st wrote this, I took to a gals weekend. We toasted it ate with cream cheese & lox . We ate with cream cheese and blueberry smoked jalapeno chipotle jelly.We also ate with just butter. Or just plain. I took 2 loaves for 3 mornings. Should have taken 3, 1 for each day.

What can I say it is the only bread we buy. Just good wholesome breads and pastry. Best croissants Ever.

A friend and I were driving to Death Valley and needed something to eat. I NEVER expected anything like this place in a small town. The food was great (each of us got a secondary thing to go after our main breakfast), as was the coffee, and the people there were welcoming.This was in late October. I was thinking about how unexpectedly solid this place was, and I liked it so much I just looked for it on the map four months later so anyone else driving through might see it in the reviews and stop like we did!

I did not expect to find a great french bakery in a Pahrump NV strip mall but O Happy Bread fits the bill. We had breakfast sandwiches and croissants which were both very good. If you are not anti gluten or anti carb this is a fantastic bakery and worth going to.

Best Baguette, bread and chocolate croissant (chocolatine) in Southern Nevada and one of the best Baguettes I have had in the U.S. for sure! The owners are super nice, so passionate and committed to make the best bread à-la-française. I wish they had a location in Vegas so I could get my daily baguette from them.High recommended from this French girl!

Found this bakery by pure accident on our way to Death Valley. Made sure to stop by on our way back to the airport. The bread and pastries were wonderful and they all tasted different, as it should be, since often pastries look different due to food coloring but taste all the same.I am from Germany, living in the USA, and miss good bread and wonderful pastries from my home country. This bakery was pure pleasure!

My husband went there about a week ago, and he tried to bring me home an iced caramel latte. The OWNER, THE OWNER said she has no idea how to use the coffee maker for iced lattes.

Every time you go in and smell that wonderful fresh bread you cant help but smile. Their ham and cheese sandwich is the best Ive ever had. The pastries they make are all exquisite. Never go wrong getting anything from there.

We are in Pahrump for one week. When we travel I always seek out good bakeries and sometimes can’t find a good one. I’m not wasting eating carbs or average things. OMG...Oh Happy Bread is a wonderful place. We have already come here three times and the week isn’t even over yet. Right now we are enjoying their Friday soup which is lobster bisque. It is delicious. Everything we have had has been delicious. Desserts, breads, croissants. They have a wonderful selection. I’m buying croissants to go. If you come to Pahrump I highly recommend Oh Happy Bread. The young man at the counter is very sweet too.

Its so refreshing to get delicious baked goods from an actual baker. The croissants were perfection. The cheesecake is better than anything in Vegas. The smell of fresh pastries when you first open the door is reason enough to stop by and at least check it out. I found my new favorite cookies are the macarons.

Why cant they be closer to me? I had the chicken mushroom quiche and already want another one. It was so tasty, filled with flavorful chicken and lots of mushrooms all wrapped in buttery, flaky crust. Amazing!! We bought some bread to take home and loved it. I cant wait to come back to town for some soup!

Every thing they make here is absolutely delicious. My all time favorite is the tiramisu! I would also recommend the macaroons. But they also have a wonderful selection of breads to choose from and more sweets. Every thing is vary well priced and I really like that you can eat in too.

A very lovely bakery with friendly staff. I had the chicken sandwich and it was so tasty. I took the chicken n mushroom quiche home and had it for breakfast the next day. I think that was the best quiche ever! So glad they have a patio seating area. I get to bring my pup!

Friendly staff. The food was very expensive with just average quality. Im very pleased we have a French bakery / s as sandwich shop here in Pahrump but I wish I could afford to visit and eat there more frequently. I sincerely hope they get a clue and will be around long- term.P.S. The ed coffee was stale 😖

Ive only been there a few times, but my girlfriend loved it. She loved the little pastries she would get and suggest we go there all the time.

Great food, great service. I do, however, notice as the day goes on food isnt as fresh especially on the weekends. That being said they still beat Walmart hands down.

The sandwich we had was good. I love how clean the place was and how nice the atmosphere is. The prices are a little high but it is understandable for such a nice restaurant in a smaller population town.

So clean! I would happily eat off the floor in this place! The bread wheat scheaf, the macaroons, oh all the quiches! I live in Henderson and drive 4 hrs (2x2) here for the food!

A real French bakery with real French owners. Wonderful pastries and bread, but my favorites are the soups that change daily. The quiche is pure French, close your eyes and pretend you are in Paris. The indoor and outdoor seating is clean and well served. The owners are there working every day and are very friendly. Huge sandwiches too. Such a nice surprise to find in Pahrump.
