The worst experience ever! I got 3 different prescriptions in 2 months and none of them worked for me! The staff are nice but unfortunately the service you receive is not good. After 3 months of frustration I left their store with low quality lenses that they gave me for free!Im so disappointed! I need to visit a new doctor and get new lenses! Such waste of time and money!

Great place. My husband has been getting glasses here for quite many years now, and so he took me to the Palo Alto facility when I needed my first pair. We were shown a frame that I liked immediately; we had our own pattern for the lens. They delivered quickly, within less than a week. The price was also very reasonable.

Good customer service. Good eye for finding me find two new pairs of sunglasses that suited my needs and looked good on me. Had my old pair listed in my records so I could re-order, which is a time-saver. At the end of the transaction when I asked about cheaters, the sales assistant threw in an attractive-looking pair gratis. Happy customer!

I got distance glasses for driving and “office” progressives that optimize for computer use but give you some far and near vision fields as well. The latter was a recommendation from the guy in the lab on site. Matthew and Lynda were also great in ensuring that picked the right frames with the right extras for my needs. Altogether a seamless experience. I love it that a Lynda always remembers my name and my circumstances. It’s a very nice personal touch that makes me feel valued as a customer and human being.

In 40 years, doc Cindy was the first Dr, who made me feel as if my sight was much more important than just saying which is better 2 or 3,. now which 3 or 4. as long as doc Cindy is there, I will continue to fly into town for a my eye Care needs. thanks doc

Site for Sore Eyes in Palo Alto provided a really good experience twice. First for the eye exam, which was administered with plenty of time to make judgments about which settings were best and finding me the perfect frame, one I am sure I would never have discovered. Then, a year later, when I knocked the frame and needed a replacement arm, they generously replaced it even though the warranty was over by a few days.

Great people. Great products. Stellar service. I ordered some glasses that weren’t quite the right color. They took the time to re-do them and now they’re my go-to opticians.

They have always been good. A testament to a good company isn’t perfection... perfection isn’t possible. I think it’s how things are sorted when something goes wrong. They have found replacement parts when glasses have worn out. They have corrected errors quickly when they have cropped up. Most of the time it is seamless and wonderful. I don’t want to go anywhere else!

Horrible customer service. They deserve ZERO STARS. Very good doctor, very good lab tech, atrocious front desk attitude which they attribute to company policy. Go somewhere else is my strong advice. I picked up my glasses with brand new lenses at night. As I walked less than half a block from the store I noticed something on one lens. I held it up to the light and noticed a number of small scratches in the center. I walked right back to the store and showed them. Total time away from the store four minutes tops. The tech Ike looked closely and saw serious scratches on the left lens and a very very minor scratch on the other lens. He said we will replace both and they did. When I picked up the glasses today Pedro at the front desk informed me that I had already used the one year scratch replacement warranty. OH REALLY? I explained that they delivered scratched lenses. I didnt scratch them. He refused to budge citing company policy. I said Ill give Site For Sore Eyes a bad review and here it is. Go to a place that has integrity and cares about customers. This place clearly does not.

My husband had lost his glasses while we were on vacation. I called and they not only had a record of what he had purchased they had another pair. I put them on hold and drove to the store to purchase them. My husband was surprised and happy to have his sunglasses.

In a panic, she calls several optometrists in the Palo Alto area in a desperate bid to get a contact, a single solitary contact to be able to actually see the beautiful culture and people of Japan. They were all of them, booked. Desperately, the fool sends up a prayer that the last number she called would have an opening. They did.Site for Sore Eyes, the blessed solution to her situation, had an opening right at then and there. The fool rushes to Site for Sore Eyes and into the excellent care of Dr. Erica Wu, the nicest human being alive. Dr. Wu got the young, foolish woman in and out, within an hour with a new prescription and three new pairs of contacts! The trip was saved!This happened to me not an hour ago. Not a word of this was made up.Everyone was super nice and helpful and understanding of the stupid situation I was in! I cant recommend Dr. Wu and Site for Sore Eyes enough! Great care and great service!

Very friendly staff, though some people must be new and should inform themselves better or be better trained like for what the insurance covers, what the lens options for progressives, materials and various coatings are and what the advantages and disadvantages are. I ended up doing all that foodwork myself which took a lot of my time and still ended up not to get the best that my insurance would have covered (found that out a little later when I purchased another pair from a different place). The people just did not know their stuff.The frame selection is great and there are many frame designs and price ranges to choose from. What I also liked is that they have an expierienced technician on site who fits the lenses into the frame, typically within a few hours.So, if you go there just be prepared and know exactly what you want. Return or exchange turned out to be difficult too.

Helpful and carry Zeiss lenses which many shops, even Costco and Lens Crafters will tell you are superior quality. Very reasonable prices for fashion eyewear, a good mid-level store, not bargain basement, not over the top, somewhere between “Toyota and Lexus” with everyday brands and higher end as well.

I spent years supporting my local economy of this franchise location of site for sore eyes. After spending over $10,000 on glasses and contacts I had one bad frame. Well they made me eat that frame. Initially they said of course we will allow you to change that frame. Then when I came into the store to get my new glasses I got handed back the broken frames from the son of the owner and was told the owner specifically said no we are not honoring an exchange.Please I ask you dont shop here. They are complete crooks that could care less about their clients You learn this when something goes wrong.I will be addressing this further with the corporate office but in the meantime dont allow yourself to have a problem with a frame before realizing you just lost all that money
