I love this store. My favorite salesperson is Shima. She is very respectful, knowledgeable, and super helpful. I go here every six months for Christmas and Anniversary gifts.
Worst experience compared to other Tiffany branches. The sales Jennifer Lau is unprofessional, look down at customers and and just want to get you to spend the money and leave as soon as possible, will never come back again.
Unlike some of the other jewelry stores like Cartier and Rolex across the mall, I find Tiffanys at Stanford to always be friendlier, more accommodating, and pleasant to browse. I understand it is COVID but I have 3 toddlers under 7 and hence very difficult to ship jewelry with my wife. Tiffanys allowed my kids to stay in their couch and helped us keep them at bay while they brought the items we wanted to see. Kudos to the store manager.
Visited the store to have several items of jewelry cleaned, including my T bangle I got as a wedding gift a few months ago (only worn thrice). Was absolutely shocked when I went to collect it and it was absolutely covered in tiny little holes, the finish completely destroyed! It was beautiful when I left it with them! I asked to speak to the manager Javier, who was unapologetic and said the best he could do was send it to NYC. He did not say sorry and was quite dismissive of our concerns. It was such a terrible feeling being treated the way we were. Ill spend the next week anxiously awaiting the return of my jewellery which has a lot of sentimental value, and then will NEVER return.
Fancy place, employees are very friendly and welcoming !
Todd Ikemoto- at Stanford was very friendly, not pushy, and very polite and helpful. I will definitely go back to him. Buying for my daughters wedding.
Everybody was very helpful, friendly, accomodating and has a great customer service and attitude towards their customers.
The salespeople are super helpful. I like to go into the store to browse, get the item information and usually end up ordering online or drop hints so it shows up with a bow. Tiffanys is always a good investment.
Unprofessional Service. I have been to many Tiffany stores around the country. This one in Stanford Shopping Center is by far the least professional one. Just as you seen in the picture, that’s how this store’s service treats a $3000 earring after cleaning, in a plastic bag not even in a pouch like all the other Tiffany stores would do. You don’t get a cup of water while you were waiting. Staffs standing around chatting not even try to open the door for you when you try to enter or leave the store. Maybe I am expecting too much but I thought Tiffany wanted be proud of its excellent service.
During the Covid-19 period, I wasn’t able to shop and even try at the store. I contacted my sales Grace, she’s very helpful and patiently to give me advice on the bracelet for my cousin’s graduation gift. Grace helped me to measure different size one by one and took pictures send to me. Thus, I would find a perfect one coz sometime measurements online is not accurate at all. The whole process made me so appreciated, sales will called in person to go through the transaction and protect your privacy. At the end, I’m so surprised that Grace even send the merchandise to my house in person. I know many people might say that’s her Job, but I think she did much more than that. I’m so thankful to her to help me get the gift on time, and I don’t need to wait the shipping without expected date at this hard moment. Appreciated to my sales GRACE at Palo Alto Tiffany store!
You come here because of the legendary service not because you are looking for a cheap diamond. You know what to expect, so dont come here if you want to haggle down the price of the diamond. You pay what they have listed on the diamond and you happily do it because you know your diamond will be cared for for a lifetime. Dont window shop, come here to buy a diamond. Be that kind of guest that will buy a diamond and not that sterling silver bracelet.
Very rude sales guy looked me up and down when I entered the store, and followed me around like I was going to steal something. Proceeded to push other product on me that I was not interested in... Go back to sales 101 to learn how to meet your quota instead of pressuring customers in a rude, pushy way. Definitely going to support a local jewelry store instead of an establishment with disrespectful people like him.
Very disappointed in service of Sale consultant M. Safaie. She was very unprofessional and not behaving up to brand standards. She tried to charge us more than it was the product then she mistakenly tried to sell us something else and eventually offered us different deal- which was bigger stone and slightly higher price. After that she called us late Sunday evening saying it was an issue and product it’s not available and it will never be! She was unprepared and she didn’t even know what is she offering instead! She honestly didn’t care! The way we were treated is just discussing! Unqualified and absolutely ignorant! Now it’s Christmas and our anniversary and I’m being left without a gift! Truly horrible experience
Good experience. The sales people were friendly. We were attended to very promptly and very satisfied with our purchase
Not all rings are created equal at this Tiffanys, which is a huge disgrace to the brand name. We made the purchase pretty easily and was promised several times by the sales person that we will get it done for you. But the pickup experience was horrific and an absolutely nightmare. The sales person was so condescending that we were treated like criminals. They said the receipts werent given to them and accused us of having already taken one ring already. Only after rounds and rounds of convincing that we absolutely didnt take the other ring the other day, they finally realized it was all the sales representatives fault. Hilariously, in the end, they provide a second ring in a tiny plastic film bag --- WITH OUT THE BOX. Can you believe that? Couldnt believe Im typing this at this hour. Its outright ridiculous and I demand a proper apology for the way we were treated.
OUCH! I went into this Tiffany & Co. expecting so much more given their high price tag on nearly everything. I called first and the woman was really nice on the phone, but when I get the in the store, things changed rapidly. The price she quoted me on the phone suddenly changed $500 more in the store due to her mistake. I spoke with the manager who wouldnt honor the price given on the phone even though her associate incorrectly gave me the wrong price.Further, I was waiting in the customer service / service area and WOW! There was a line of 5-6 women or so all very upset with their purchases..All with the same / similar complaints. Their jewelry wasnt holding up and breaking in just a year of use. The best part is that Tiffany only has a year warranty on their goods (not lifetime!) and you pay a huge premium for components that dont hold up. I heard the same complaint from many other friends too that tiffany is just overpriced and not worth the price tag - not even close. Id advise going elsewhere.
Worked with Syndey for an over the phone order meant as a surprise gift, they helped to coordinate the whole thing
I always have a pleasant experience when I go to this Tiffany. Professionals who know their products and are excellent at helping you find exactly what you need for whatever occasion you might be looking for.
We shop at Tiffanys in san Francisco usually but we were in Palo Alto for the day. We went in and the staff is very rude. We asked about a piece and the lady did not even turn to look at us she just kept her head down and spoke. Ill take my money elsewhere
I was able to find a nice birthday gift for my wife.
Short version: If you like Tiffany products, I advise you go to a different location. I had terrible customer service here during a simple repair pick up.Long Version: I had dropped off a ring for a small repair, which was a normal customer service experience. When I went to pick it up after the repair, I noticed my ring looked very different than when I dropped it off: instead of being closely stacked bands, they had been spread out dramatically (hard to explain.) When I saw my ring in its new form, I asked why it had been spread out when I had only asked for a repair. The employee did not understand my question, and made me feel like a fool for asking (Are you sure its different? This is the same ring, whats the problem?) I was asked to sit down and wait, then she begins to help many other people while I waited for assistance to my question. After 10 minutes of waiting, I had to ask again for help, where I was rudely told she would get to me. Finally a different employee came to talk to me. She too was snide, making me feel like I was asking a very stupid question. Eventually, she told me that when this ring was new (I had received it as a gift) it had originally been spread out, and it was very common that over time the bands begin to compress (as mine had done.) The repair service had tried to restore it to its original appearance as part of the overall repair. If this was so common, WHY DID IT TAKE 20 MIN and TWO RUDE ASSOCIATES TO TELL ME THIS? All I needed was as simple explanation, I simply had not understood why the ring had been so dramatically modified. Maybe because I had just finished a work-out and wasnt dressed to Tiffany standards? I left with my ring, and the repair itself was seamlessly done. Will not return to this location.
Always greet me with a smile, excellent service, beautiful jewelry.
Tiffanys is a great place to visit I like to look around and see all the things that I wish to afford some day but todays visit was to get a longer chain for my Christmas gift from my boyfriend
(10/2 8/18)Purchased a Tiffany ring about two weeks ago or so and it turned my finger green. Me have owning Tiffany rings, necklaces, and bracelets know that I’m not allergic to their silver. However as I tried to return the two rings I bought, I was told that I should not return them and instead should just “deep clean” them. The lady at Customer Service also told me that I should not use any kind of oils, soaps or lotions on my hands, which is almost impossible. In the end I just wanted to return the rings and get my money back. This is the worst Tiffany store I have ever been to. The lady was rude, did not smile, hated that I undermined her advising me to clean the rings. She questioned me rudley when asking for the receipt and was shocked when she saw that the rings were only 14 days old. She then let me know that anything purchased with cash over $20 can not be refunded unless a check is mailed. I had to do her job and ask her to please read the back of the receipt as it states anything over $200 has to be issued via check. Not arguing about having to have a check to get my money back but she was misinformed in the return policy and she did not even offer me to look for anything else in the store and maybe exchange my rings instead she was just trying to get me out of the store. Having my younger sister and family with me while buying the rings, they also noticed how rude and unprofessional the employees were. Again I will not and I refuse to step foot into this store again! In the end it was not my fault that the ring turned my finger green. I simply just wanted to return them as I expected to receive quality produts for the price I paid. I also looked online and many, many people have complained that their rings turn fingers green. Trying to tell me that it’s not their fault but saying that I should just keep it and not get a refund was not the service I expected from Tiffany. This was the worst Tiffany store I have been to. I have been to many Tiffany stores all over from Hawaii to Las Vegas and never experienced service as rude as this ladies. I’m very angry with how she handled this situation. And will not be going back to this location for any of my purchases. In fact this left me with such a bad taste is my mouth I may not continue to purchase from Tiffany’s at all unless the employees can be trained to be nice, give service with a smile and be respectful when situations arise like this.
Came in shopping for wedding rings and the sales person completely insulted me in less than 1 min. She also knew she did it too as she kept a large distance afterwards. I took my business elsewhere and I recommend you do too.
Great service. Got great help buying the right present for my wife.
Not as quite customer service oriented as Walnut Creek, Valley fair or SF Union Square. They tend to not treat you as the others do, of importance. A bit more difficult Ive experienced other than one particular person Xavier in Repairs & Service. If you must see them make sure he handles your claim. He is the only reason I have continued going to this particular store. He is the reason I can give them a 4 in stars. Afterall your buying a high end brand and should be treated as if your loyalty is valued. The staff has no character they are straight faced.
Ive been collecting tiffany for YEARS and of course it got tarnish...this place is awesome!!! Yes, you read that right its awesome place to get my collections clean up for FREE. Costumer service are excellent....Ill absolutely recommend this place
The staff was very helpful and friendly period had a piece cleaned and it was returned quickly.
Ive gotten a few things here. The staff is pretty helpful and they will leave you alone if you want them too.
Very weird store, do not follow the regular exchange procedure
I accompanied a friend here. It took quite a while to make an exchange. Maybe the person helping her was new.
Fast, friendly, good service even when crowded
The store is nice and tidy, of course. The sales staff are a bit on the pushy side but I guess thats what this place is like. Prices are through the roof, of course.
Highest quality jewelry. Nothing stirs emotion like that blue box with a white ribbon.
