I do most of weekly shopping there prices are great and nice sales of many items

I experienced the most amazing customer service today at the Safeway of Waltham woods rd in Parkville, MD by a young lady named Raina in the deli. I called and asked if they could do a last minute same day catering order for a tray of some sort to be ready in a few hours. (Remember it’s July 3rd, busy weekend). She told me that she could do a sandwich tray and have it ready. Some of their other trays required more notice. She was a great problem solver, and prepared a beautiful tray for me at the last minute. I called several other places before calling Safeway that were rude and told me not a chance. Raina went above and beyond to help me and was polite. I had to get a few things so I was checking out in the line and she personally walked the tray over me. Not only was it ready but the presentation was also beautiful. This experience exceeded my expectations and I had to immediately write about this exceptional employee. I manage others in my career and Raina possesses the qualities of a successful leader that will surely inspire others! Thank-you for being a wonderful asset to all!

Safeway shopping was a quiet experience. However, this store was a little different from the store I shop at frequently. The prices were a little different as well. Merchandise were a little different. Perhaps I need to revisit and compare at other locations. However, service was okay.

I really like coming here! This store is well stocked and well organized.. I do a majority of my shopping elsewhere, but come here when I cant find certain items on my list. The selection is pretty great.

They put signs in the wrong places you buy the product you get up in line then you have to stand there for 20 minutes while they check everything out. I have never been to a store that is this un organized we try to get coffee creamer store brand of all things and they never have it. This place needs to close.

I love going to Safeway. Its the only grocery store I know whos fruit is actually fresh and stays fresh longer then two days. I didnt give 5 stars because the staff can be rude and ignorant. I love that there is a Starbucks here on my way out the door.

Biggest issue is the checkout experience...either youre in a Mile long line to check out with a slow cashier or youre in self checkout where the dern machines are so slow to process your scans and will flag an attendant over the slightest mishap. i truly avoid this store. and the checkout experience is the ONLY reason why i stay away

The pharmacy here is really quick and nice. The place is clean and they usually have some pretty great deals!

Now if you love flowers, especially carnations. This is my go to store, brought some flowers for my Birthday celebration on 12/06/20, these flowers were still popping three weeks later.

I love going grocery shopping here. I don’t go anywhere else to get my flowers One stop and done for all my house hold needs

Always have the best in beef, steaks really beautiful cuts go see for yourself

The IHOP in Golden Ring they do their best to keep things moving so you dont have to wait a long time and the food is IHOP standard if you see a big guy walking around with a bald head tell Tommy hello he in the IHOP AR top notch

It is literally across the street from I also love another store but they have the best pharmacy and their sale prices as member can be awsome

Went to your store less than an hour ago for the special advertised porter house steaks I wanted to get 10 of them cut an inch and a quarter thick but the last couple times when Ive tried to get special cut the guy just says theyre already cut and out on the rack this is very disheartening to me because I do like going to your store Youre one of the few left that I can get steaks cut at and I bet you 20 bucks theres more of those steaks to be cut but why has courteous service stop at the meat counter if this was the first time I would not even be notifying you of a problem

Quick for flu vaccine.

Produce was fresh. Store shelves were well stocked. Cashier was sooo helpful and friendly. Our experience with the deli wasnt very good. The young lady who waited on us ignored us for a couple of minutes. She didnt say anything. Most of the time people say, Ill be with you shortly. She finally turned around and took our order. She put the wrong sticker on the pan roasted chicken calling it peppered chicken. The pan roasted was on sale $1 off. When we checked out, 3 sale items did not show up on our reciept.We didnt get the discount even though we used our Safeway card. We were told we had to go to the Customer service desk. The employee there told us the cashier could help us out. He said he didn t know how to do it. He asked another person, a manager, and she didnt help us out. By now there were 4 people in his line to be checked out. We had a time crunch and had to leave without our discounts. Very frustrating.

Just popped in to pick up a prescription. The pharmacy staff is always friendly and helpful.

Beautiful store but something about the dramatic lighting is depressing. Ive been looking for alternative stores since Giant Food stopped posting the USDA grading on there meat. I was greatly surprised when I found that Safeway has up graded there meats from Select to Choice and appeared to have lowered there prices. The staff is nice but still seem inadequate and out of touch.All and all ill be back.

This Safeway is just fine. The prices are pretty bad compared to Aldi, where I normally shop, but I guess thats the reality of Safeway. I really feel like everything is five bucks, like chips, bread, etc. How tf a bag of chips $5?They have a good meat selection, however I could not find any thin cut chicken breast which my wife prefers. I have tried to explain to her that one can simply slice the breast in half, like on cooking shows, but I digress. They also have a lot of discount meat which I appreciate.The deli looks pretty legit, and they even have a floral department, AND a bakery. This is like the Wal-Mart of grocery stores.

The store is clean and well merchandised but there is always the smell of rotten or pungent food coming from the compactor in the back. They toss out allot of fresh food, and the smell is strong, even in the front if the store.

Really great bakery department I love the jalapeno cheddar focaccia bread, clean and everything is there.

Its always well stocked and clean, and the cashiers are so respectful and pleasant. Ive been coming there for several years and I never had an unpleasant experience with the cashiers. Hopefully no jinx.

I like this store. however, the language used by employees in front of customers is at times atrocious. it takes quite a bit to offend me, but Ive heard enough. Im not going to waive my standards of what decent public behavior is, Ill just shop at another store.

Price is higher than other super marketsAnd the quality of the items especially seafood is really bad. I purchased a package of a smoke salmon its taste was bad and when I open the package It looks like a muds inside and the color was also horrible too.

I bought retirement balloons there and Ty was very helpful. She took the time to really look to find them! I really appreciated her doing that!

Nice produce department and generally a good selection of other goods, however, they are often out of sale items. Prices are usually higher than competitors but you can still find some excellent bargains on sale items, if in stock.

Safeway definitely keeps their stores clean and I am happy with the vegan options they have, however their prices can be a bit expensive. I paid $6.99 for Just Egg, which I normally pay about $4.50 at Wegmans. The only reason I didnt get at Wegmans yesterday is because they were out. Safeway should definitely have more competitive prices. Had me contemplating if I should have driven out of my way to another Wegmans to find the product to save my $2.50.

Safeway is expensive and always listing wrong prices (or they just don’t know how to stock the shelves). I’ve gone shopping at 3 different Safeway’s in multiple counties over the past 4 years and have had the same recurring issues at each Safeway. It’s ridiculous

One of the supermarkets I enjoy stopping at for great fruits, vegetables, cheeses, and sweets. Im vegetarian, so I pay a lot of attention to variety, quality, and price. I LOVE shopping here for amazing red grapefruits and pomegranites, gouda cheese as well as the typical varieties, and really good baked goods.I am very happy with how clean the store is (compared to other supermarkets I have frequented.Even when busy, the staff is efficient and personable. Always a smile and a hello.My guy saw a sign at the Pharmacy and very quickly got a flu shot as well as a shingles shot roughly 2 weeks ago. Very quick... Maybe 10 minutes tops and we got 10% off coupons to use on groceries!During this time of global pandemic, all CDC guidelines were followed, (masks, social distancing, cleaning, hand sanitizer available, etc) so have no fears about shopping here. Definitely a place to put in your shopping rotation.

The selection is pretty good here. I saw non-refrigerated soy and oat milks here for the first time compared to other markets and other branches of Safeway that didnt have them. I guess from store-to-store during the pandemic it can be pretty random what is carried, but this one had just about everything I wanted and plenty of it.

Management and some staff not helpful at all but you can get what you need had to experiences with bad staff good luck when you go there

Be safe! Thanks for being there for us! Came to store around 9:30am to get endive and shrimp salad. There wasnt any endive or bib lettuce also no shrimp salad. Was told there wasnt any shrimp salad. Seafood was just setting up. Came out early because iam a senior. This wasnt the first time this happened.

Clean and organized. Friendly staff. Pre Covid there was really no issue with stocking.... they always had items the carried in stock and displayed neatly always easily accessible. Recently they seem to have developed some issues keeping the shelves lined however.
