I tried to drop off some donations. Parking is limited at this location so I had to park across the street. I had my arms full of bags and as I walked up to the donation door, a guy very rudely says “no donations! come back in 20 minutes! “ I think not. He could have said “ I’m sorry, we unable to accept donations now because blah blah blah but we’d be happy to take them in 20 minutes, thank you”. I guess that was too difficult.

I visit a lot of Goodwill Store across LA & Ventura Counties and the on on Altadena Dr. in Pasadena has the rudest female Manager and staff of any Ive ever visited! The manager goes out of her way to be disrespectful. This clearly is a lack of district oversight and customer service focused training! Shame, shame these unfortunate individuals are not learning the basic skills to project them into future employment opportunities .....the two who I had interaction with this afternoon...I would never recommend for hire at another organization.

They got a Xbox 360 with all the cords and some controllers. I didnt buy it but very cool if you do buy it.

Their items here a decent, decent prices, but what makes this location is the staff. Very friendly employees here, every single time Ive come in. Wish I could say the same for the Goodwill down the street (Fairoaks).. maybe management here should provide some much needed training to them in customer service.

Very rude the guy at the door. The store was dirty the team was not friendly or helpful. I asked the lady at the front counter to let me see a ring and she gave me a bad attitude and said what ring. Never again coming here. I dont recomend it...

Uncomfortable. Too crowded. I had many people who physically brushed past me. Checkout area poorly marked & slow, & they dont want you looking in the glass cases cuz youll be too close to others. Then dont fill them!

Employees at this location are rude! Not much customer service oriented what can you expect from people tat dont care to ....hm

Prices are ridiculous for some things, but thats Goodwill management, in the other hand some of the staff members lack service skills rude and make you feel like theyre doing you a favor. Not all to be fair, some are nice and kind.

Parking sucks and the lady kept calling me honey, which I find to be a bit condescending and patronizing. But I guess understand because I look like a minor. I bought nice stuff though.

It is a decent size store. Seems to be well organized, I went early on a Thursday morning. The shoe racks are in order by color. They have a variety selection of shoes for women. The shoe rack for men is a very small selection and seems to have a lot of big sized shoes. The furniture selection was pretty good from what I saw. For the childrens department, there were about 4 racks of clothes, most for other kids sizes 5/6 and up. Parking for this location is limited so good luck on a busy morning like Thursdays. Over all I would say some of the stuff I found were over priced to be second hand. I walked out empty handed, didnt find much of a bargain.

I was hesitated to stop after reading this reviews but glad I still did. Everybody was nice and friendly! Found everything I needed here! Will come back and visit when I return back to Pasadena. Found a Betsy Johnson purse for 14.99 and heavy thick jacket for 9.99. Love it here!

My awful experience:I walked in with my family today and this old lady who claims to own part of this place insinuated I was going to steal a $10 jacket that had a weird stain on it. I bought it for a Halloween costume, but she was so rude and kept watching me until I payed for it. She even told the staff to watch over us because she thought we were going to steal. This woman thought me and my parents were going to steal from Goodwill. We had just come from church so we were dressed nice, it couldnt have been that we look like from the hood or anything like that. I am guessing it was because we were talking Spanish to out parents. But seriously if you are a business owner you should know to hire security so that kind of stuff doesnt happen in your store because apparently its a problem if you have to sit there and watch people. Like even if I was going to steal what could she have done? Shes a small old lady! What, was she going to tackle me? If shoplifting is something youre worried about hire security. Dont sit there and harrass a teenager shopping with his parents. Never shopping there ever again, but I didnt feel like going to another Goodwill. I didnt buy anything else because I refuse to give them any more of my money. The cashier was really nice. Everything was affordable, or maybe not according to some of these other reviews but then again I dont shop at Goodwill. Place was well organized. The furniture was ok, but the couches has stains on them. Parking was awful. Also as you can tell, there is minimal security. I dont even recall seeing a security camera anywhere. Shop at your own risk for harassment.

I came in here looking for an ugly Christmas sweater and thats exactly what I found($10). The selection here is far better than the Out of the Closet on Colorado. The prices were a bit more than expected but the quality over all was in the lightly used category. The childrens section was great with a variety of toys as well.Parking is horrible, tight turns and little room.

OMG!! I BEEN A DONATOR AS WELL A CUSTOMER FOR YEARS AND TODAY WAS YHE MOST HUMILIATED SOMEONE HAS MAKE ME FEEL. I TRY TO PURCHASE A ORNAMENT IT HAD A PRICE ON IT BUT SOMEHOW THE CASHIER DIDNT LIKE IT. SO SHE TOLD ME THAT THAT WASNT THE PRICE INSINUATED THAT I CHANGED IT??? I GOT REALLY UPSAID. I been coming here for years but never had such poor service from a MANAGER, I didn’t get his name, but he was a Hispanic young man with poor management skills and bad way of talking to a person. I am surprised by the level of service with this location. And he said he was a manager!!! So sad to encounter such way of handeling his supposed store. I will never donate to this store ever again.

Decent selection of clothes and assorted knickknacks and accessories. A few transients often rummage through the donated offerings, making off with the best (and oftentimes worst) items before they are even processed and inventoried.

Angie and the other female register woman with glasses were very professional and polite. Angie was helpful, patience and very kind/ professional!

Honestly one of the best thrift shops that I have been to in my entire life, and I am someone who loves Goodwill wherever I am in this country. The supply for this store is so great they fill many dumpsters a day with stuff they couldnt take, and they have new stuff coming out on the floor on roller carts roughly every 20 minutes. I think part of what makes the selection so good here is the proximity to very expensive parts of E. Pasadena, although I usually see hoodlums like myself shopping there. The​ record selection is pretty insane here; I have yet to get a portable turntable but have seriously considered it for this store alone. There is always a tag of the day which costs one dollar, so tons of people come in as regular and just hunt the dollar deals as a stress reliever/cheap shopping activity. The plastic bags they use are huge, and Im not kidding when I say they work both as a kitchen trash bag and as a rain poncho. If you like to shop vintage and live in or around Pasadena (it is on Metro Bus line 181), definitely check this Goodwill out and you wont regret it. Plus, youre helping employ a bunch of people who really need it. Win-win!

This is a small to medium sized Goodwill location, but decently laid out. It has a medium clothing area, large selection of CDs, DVDs and VHS tapes, small to medium size electronics area, and small to medium size household items. The manager seemed very helpful, the employees were relatively nice, the parking lot is medium sized and you will probably have to wait a few minutes for a parking spot to open. This location is relatively busy and popular for such a small location.

This is my favorite goodwill great organized and nice workers never had a bad time at this goodwill only thing i hate is the parking thiers only about 20 spots and to get in and out for the parking lot is a hassel but you can park across the street. All in all a great time killer of fun outing

I gave it a 1 because its so disorganized and clothes on the floor and clothes are to scrunched together . And they only have there senior discount on Tuesdays and over priced on there tops I can get cheaper at Acts thrift store and they are organized. And the tops sizes are all mixed together.

This is a perfect business. The only problem Is insufficient parking. Many Times I have had to keep deriving because I couldnt find any parking there in their to small parking lot.

Hey everyone, I am a collector and hit the jackpot at this store last week. Why for 3 weeks, no one purchased the odd ceramic container under the glass is my gain. So for $40 I bought what I thought was really old and guess what?! It is...It turns out a rare piece of Neolithic Chinese ceramic pottery that was dated by an archeology expert to 3,500 BC and the real thing! Thank you Goodwill!
