Large, clean, friendly local game store! The associate that greeted us was super friendly and talked to us about the types of games we enjoyed. There were gamers at the tables but everything was spaced out very nicely and the selections of games was great. I highly recommend this store for miniatures and miniature war game needs. They had so many minis, a great selection of paints and paint brands! They have a really good selection of D&D items as well, with most of the necessary books and adventures, spell cards, minis (SO MANY WIZKID MINIS), and terrain options!

I have been playing Warhammer 40k since 2nd or 3rd edition, over a decade ago, and I have not seen a store better than this one!The staff is truly amazing:Chad, Kevin, and Iggy always make me feel welcome! Came here for a mini and to prep for my next Dungeons & Dragons session. One of the most profession game shops I’ve been to. Amazing selection of ttrpgs, board games, paints, and hobbies. It was organization, and space, oh the space. Helpful, friendly informed staff. It must be hard for stores to compete with this level of professionalism in our world of weirdos. Will shop here again and consistently.

Okay place. Didn’t have the games I was looking for but did have good selection. You can look online before going and see what they have in stock. Unfortunately, you have to look online to know the cost of their merchandise even if you are on site. They also don’t have a game library to play games.

Tons of space to play games! Great staff! Good place for consistent X Wing nights on Thursday’s too.

The staff is super friendly and they have a great selection of games. I grabbed a few varients of Fluxx. I also saw that they had a good miniatures game variety if you are into those.

Bad inventory management. Wasted half a day to get an item they said was in stock. it wasnt. They dont open til 11 so trying to call ahead and verify is pointless if youre trying to beat traffic. WASTE OF TIME!!!

Cool place, good variety of games, seems to have same prices as Amazon rounded up and there was one really nice associate(kind of too nice and would just follow me when there was no one else in the store) but she wasnt the problem, the manager on the other hand was just kind of acting rude. Was just sleeving his own games that he brought to work, wasnt being helpful at all when I asked questions to him as the manager expecting him to know more but didnt, and only have one word answers to what he did know which wasnt helpful

I visited yesterday attempting to browse some Yugioh cards. Unfortunately they dont have a larger variety & dont sell singles in Yugi. If you play Magic, DD or any table top game this is the place for you. I walked in & 4 different DD games were going on. Really cool environment. If youve never been I would suggest stopping by.

Employees are helpful and very nice. The online store is kinda buggy. You can order something to pick up at the Pasadena location but itll turn out that the item is actually at the Upland store. They say theyll ship it over and that you can come back to pick it up later, but then it might turn out that it was sold and that they actually dont even have the item anymore. Location itself is very clean and inventory is diverse. Just kinda frustrating that you can try to order something online but never receive the item.

Staff is super friendly, and the gaming area is open, airy and well-lit! Great selection of all table-top related paraphernalia!

Ive been to many game stores in SoCal and while this one is probably the newest its one of the best in a 50 mile radius. Large space, lot of big tables for wargames, modern/clean facility/livery, professional staff, and walking distance to downtown Pasadena restaurants and cafes. Worst part is parking though, be wary of that.

Huge location, great selection, very nice staff. If it wasnt so far away from me, I would come here all the time!

Just walked past the new space and my jaw dropped. I used to go to the Upland location when I lived in Claremont. So pumped to live within walking distance of this! Pasadena has 0 good game stores so this is a welcome addition. Welcome to the neighborhood!

Great store with an excellent staff. The space is clean and has free gaming tables.

New location is massive. They also hired some of the old Game Empire staff so it will be a nice transition. Plenty of parking behind the building without worry of being towed. Cant wait for this to be fully up and running.

Had some great experience here. staff is a Warhammer expert and helped me a lot to build my space marine army.

After being horrified at another store in Pasadena I was convinced to check this place out. Bought some dice for my husband. The space was clean. The staff was very kind. Kevin, the owner, was very friendly.
