Never have these people been able to help me with a problem. Today was replacing a screen protector on an iPhone. I even brought the install template, which the genius working there said: Oh, us pros dont use these before he proceeded to put it on crooked. When I complained, the lead remedial tried to fix it and messed it up even worse. Lesson learned. Go to the one in East Peoria or do it myself.

10/10 would recommend Gary. He was super nice, helpful and informative, and kept trying to find me ways to get a good deal and save money. He took the time out to go above and beyond to get me what I wanted/needed and even put on my screen protector for me and made it look easy. Ask for Gary if you go in there, hes got SUPER pretty eyes too!!

Avoid the Pekin store. Theyll fill beyond legitimate capacity if you wear a mask. If you cannot wear a mask the overweight Jimmy Garcia looking worker expects curbside while the store is packed. I went in the week before and bought a device w/o a mask or problem. Guess Jimmy just cost Verizon my bill amount today. People in the store were less that 4 feet apart with their mask, about 10% were wearing them incorrectly including a worker.

We switched to Verizon from another carrier. We talked to Frank at this store during this process. Frank was awesome! He answered all of our questions and made the process really easy and painless! The store is also really clean, they are limiting the number of people in building, and hand sanitizer is everywhere to use which is nice! It was a good experience and I normally dread going to the cell phone store!

I spent a week dealing with this store and multiple issues trying to purchase a new phone with no resolution. I spoke with the β€œmanager”,who had the phone I was made to purchase online for a curbside pickup but couldn’t release due to a β€œglitch” in the system not allowing to go from processing to release. He told me I would just have to wait until IT fixed the glitch and could be tomorrow, could be next week, he couldn’t say. This was after I had placed an order directly with the store 5 days prior because the phone was not in stock but I found out the order was never placed. This β€œmanager” was rude with a complete lack of concern for all of the mishaps that occurred on Verizon’s side over the past week. My old phone will not hold a charge and gets very hot and shuts down so the urgency of obtaining the phone in his store was essential. I even said I had no problems taking my business of 5 lines to U.S. Cellular In the morning to make sure I had a working phone and his response was β€œok”. I will not deal with this store in the future.

I went to the new Verizon store on Ann Eliza in Pekin and I had the best experience I have ever had with Verizon. Joey was the employee who helped me and he was so nice and super helpful! Go to this location and ask for Joey, you wont be disappointed.

I had a problem with my phone and Spencer, who is wonderful, had been helping me and got me a new phone. When the phone came and it was time to move the data from my old phone to the new phone, Spencer was out Ill, and Dan said he would help me. Dan was also great and transferred the data. He said we would know soon if there were any problems. I went home and discovered that their were some issues. This was Thursday March 19. One was accessing Facebook, some apps were not accessible, so I went in on Friday March 20. I was told that Dan wasnt there. A man, who said he was the manager, ask what I wanted. When I started to tell him, he interrupted me and said he didnt deal with Facebook and wouldnt let me tell him what else was a problem. He wasnt willing to listen to me, and said when I told him that he wasnt listening to me that if I didnt like it I could leave the store. I told him that he wasnt nice like Spencer and Dan, and ask what his name was. He said it was Frank. I dont know if that was the truth, but he said he was the manager. I ask if Dan would be there tomorrow, and first he said he didnt know and then said yes Dan would be there. If he treats other customers the way he treated me, he shouldnt be there.

We were met immediately as we entered the store by Carter. My husband and he talked about what we were needing and he very efficiently made the arrangements needed and we were in and out in it seemed like less than 25 minutes. Carter was friendly. A coworker had to interrupt him and he was very gracious to him and explained that he would be over to help him out as soon as he concluded business with us.

They talked my husband into signing up for unlimited data. When he told me is said I didnt want unlimited because its slowes down so he when back in less than 20 minutes and they would not put out plan back without lousing extras we had before. Being with them for 20 years and they would not do anything for us. I guess being faithful to them all those years means nothing. Dont let them talk up into anything.

In fact, one employee gave up and said it was the actual cell phone that wasnt working. I figured it out and so did a person on the phone that wasnt even in the store

Gererally very helpful. However, I dont appreciate the hard sell tactics I recently experienced, even after telling the person I wasnt interested in the product. Next time I will be rude about such tactics and, if further bothered with them, will ask to speak with the manager because I resent the pressure. While I dont want to change suppliers, it was enough to entertain the thought. My daughter experienced the same thing when she bought her new phone. You need to cool it Verizon.

The people are ok but Im not happy with my phone. My phone on its own deleted all my pictures to the trash. I got some of them back but I have lost the ones of my mom and dad that have passed away 19 years ago and it was the only pictures I have of them and no way of getting any more. Staff and store are almost completely useless. I lost my phone on NYE in Atlanta and have tried twice, for a total of 5 hours in the store, to transfer my phone number only (no pictures, messages, content at all) to an old phone of mine and have had no success. Every single time I have a phone problem I google research for hours before ever even considering going into this dreaded, gray hellscape. I just want a phone that can make and receive calls, and they cannot provide that. Going to get a burner from walmart while these nimrods attempt to bumble their way through a basic phone setup.

I have had Verizon since I got my first cell phone. I have never had any problems until now. My plan is up so I have been in the Pekin location 3 times in the last couple months. They work on commission so I thought theyd be more eager to sell me something. The first time they offered me a deal and sent me home to back up my phone. When I came back (my second trip) they didnt know what I was talking about and wouldnt honor it. The third trip (11/15/14) I got a young guy that talked to me like I was stupid. I tried asking about the email I had received (unfortunately I deleted it). He had no clue. I asked about the rewards once again i received negative tone of voice and very short answers. That was after I had to look up what I was referring too because he didnt seem to know anything about it and didnt want to be helpful in any way. I walked out so frustrated, shaking my and thinking maybe I should look into changing to another cell phone company. I am a very loyal customer and do not like to make hasty decisions. So I got onto My Verizon to contact someone higher up. Since I have had good relations with them this far I thought they needed to know how things are going in Pekin,IL.. Unfortunately, there is no place on that website to make a complaint. I have searched for the last 2 days. If you have something specific you need help with your in luck. But to make a complaint... I guess they just dont care about our input? I work in the medical field and we are trained to focus the the patient experience.. Well my experience has been the worst that I have ever had atVerizon!!!

Aric took time to explain details and answer everything that I asked and thing he wasnt sure on he got the answers and came back with details on everything. I was spending $750 to $950 a month for service with Verizon. I was ther for 2 years befor that i was at us cellular for 14 years. I left because of service areas i moved to. Then i switched to sprint my bill for the same service at Verizon. My bill is $160 per month now . i watch alot videos. Never have any problems. It seems to me that Verizon ows me alot of $. The more i sit a think about it the more mad i get. Verizon ows me off alot of $$$$$. every 2 days they charged me 1 more gig. Its funny i never get xtra with sprint and im on it watching videos as much if not more. Plus my phone would charge me extra gig and i wasnt even on my phone.
