Me and my kids, we switched to this practice from the other office, so far I dont have anything bad to say, very nice doctor Banin, pleasant employees. I agree that some of the ladies in the office are not able to answer your questions and seems like manager Galina is the only one with all answers, but because its always busy there, it puts a lot of pressure on patients, because they want all their questions to be answered in a timely manner and manager who basically doesnt have enough time. Office needs a better time management or at least much more training about insurances, etc. to other ladies, so to make Galinas life easier.Id wish they had prices for frames also, would be much easier and convenient for patients.Please listen to comments and suggestions from people.

Terrible front desk, no communication whatsoever. Paid for the exam and I was given contacts and told to call back and was having a hard time coming back

Heard great things about Hendrix Vision Center and was looking forward to getting a pair of glasses here. Just tried to walk in with my 8-month-old daughter to take a look but “The woman who knows about insurance was at lunch” and was asked if I could come back. I kindly stated I just wanted to browse and would not be using insurance. Long story short, the girl at the front desk was no help at all. Seems like they don’t want or need the business that bad.

The service here is simply exceptional. They will work with you to make sure you get the absolute best price possible, and they stand by their product 120%. Its rare to see such commitment to customers these days

We had an exam here, but they never gave us the results.When we approached them about my exam results, they said to keep waiting. After weeks of ignored phone calls, they finally admitted they lost my exam.After lying to us for weeks, they said we can schedule another exam for free, but when we tried scheduling they said they can only charge my insurance now?This place is a scam for customers and insurance fraud; stay away. All of this in addition to the most rude people I’ve ever encountered in this field.

Probably the best eye ware shop you will find in northeast Philly. They have excellent collection of frames, skilled and honest customer service (which is hard to find nowadays) and affordable prices.

Ive been coming to this place for years and every time I come out with a beautiful pair of glasses. The girls that work there are not only extremely knowledgeable but are also so nice and pleasant. The staff is phenomenal and so helpful. They go above and beyond for you to come out of there with the perfect pair of glasses that fit your budget and looks beautiful. The selection there is amazing and better than anywhere else Ive been. I cannot say enough good things about this place. I highly highly recommend.

Good variety glasses. But the staff is so so. Only been here twice. Might be the last time since I just picked up my daughter’s glasses and the older lady with red hit was extremely rude. Like another rater said, maybe you’ll like the place or have a better experience if you’re Russian I guess. It’s a shame because it was hard to find a place that carried pediatric glasses that was covered by the insurance.

What a wonderful place! I have been suffering with finding the right prescription for my glasses, seen many doctors and tried many glasses and was still not able to see well. It is not until I came to Hendrix Vision that I can finally see again.Consumer Service: Professional, Intelligent, Patient and Caring. They spent hours with me trying to find the best fit. Always with a smile! They addressed all of my concerns (and I had a lot) and took the time for help me.Doctor: My appointment was at 4:30 PM, and I was already in the chair by 4:38. The doctor was professional, thorough, and really took her time to find a solution to my problem. I am forever grateful for that.Glasses: if you can’t find glasses at Hendrix Vision, you will not find glasses anywhere. I was amazed by the variety! I have been getting my eye glasses from Hendrix since 2008; I have at least 4 pairs of eyeglasses from here and loved each pair. The employees are very kind and willing to help with choosing the best pair of glasses. They have a great selection of glasses. I have not had an issue with the quality of any of the pairs and I would recommend this store to anyone looking for a pair of glasses that are both fashionable and long lasting!

Bought a pair of Hugo Boss glasses here a few years ago. Less than 6 months later the lenses were covered in ripples of the scratch resistant film. Also noticed that on one side the brand logo was misprinted, which may mean this is not a genuine product. Will avoid going forward.

It is absolutely unfathomable that a poster gave this store a negative review. I have visited Hendrix multiple times and never received anything but impeccable service. Add the excellent variety in frames and unbeatable prices, Hendrix Vision Center must be the best optical store in Philadelphia.

Just got my sunglasses from them. The selection and service were impeccable. Would highly recommend to anyone who needs any kind of eye wear.

This is a really poor service salon.I have made an appointment, and arrived on time, but receptionist tried to assure me that my appointment time was different. After some time they admitted me and I was able to select a frame that I liked. Then it turned out they had no real idea how my insurance would contribute, and it took them almost a week to find out the final price. Ok, so far, it was tolerable. Then, they promised to get my glasses ready in week. One week stretched to two, and then three until finally I heard the good news. When I seen the glasses, my heart fell. They were dirty like straight from an auto workshop. Still not a big deal, the manager promised to clean them right away. After half an hour effort, he managed to get them clean, but this exposed the final flaw - lenses were framed in a very sloppy way, with edges exposed here and there.That was it, I had enough and demanded my money back. They refunded it without an issue, which was perhaps the only pleasant experience in dealing with the salon. I went to Pearle Vision. They got me glasses in a week, for less money and quality was no issue.Go to Hendrix Vision Center if you want a thrill ride. If you need just a good glasses, stick with more respectable names.

Dr. Gelena is amazing. However, her staff (specifically her manager) is extremely rude, extremely disrespectful, doesn’t let you speak, super unorganized, forgetful, unbelievably unprofessional and the reason for my 1 star rating. I’ve had a referral sent over multiple times and I know that the problem isn’t on my physicians end. She always gives me a hard time while trying to schedule an appointment. She never seems to lose her condescending tone and rude attitude. She has lied to my face on multiple occasions saying how she called me or left voicemails when in fact that never happened. No other person, business, professional establishment has EVER had issues reaching me or leaving voicemails. My phone is with me at all times. I have given this office multiple chances and I am no longer coming back and refuse to until management changes or I speak with the doctor (who is also the owner) directly. It’s such a shame because the doctor is so lovely and very knowledgeable but dealing with her rude and unprofessional staff has just gotten to be too much. Please consider other offices for your eye needs and save yourself the frustration and headache.

This is the worst spot ive ever went to buy my prescription glasses. Ive been spend A LOT of money here but enough is enough. I ordered 2 pair of glasses here recently and BOTH had to be redone 4 time individually because of defects on there end ! I personally spent over $500 this time just to have to come back the this place for the 5th time and be told that they do not want to fix the glasses they sold me. I explained that the glasses/lenses were hurting my head and my vision is blurry even with them on and the told me to basically leave and that they arent going to fix my day to day prescription glasses even if it was their fault ! I tried to be reasonable and did not even demand a refund i just wanted the glasses fixed ! But they told me im past repair / money back policy even though between those days they had my glasses for repair ! This is ridiculous and i HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO NOT GO HERE. They pretend to be helpful and told me i can come back if i had any issues but as soon as i handed my money over they did not care about their well paying customer anymore.

Used to always go here for years with my children and myself! And last March 2015, I went and I had to get glasses because I couldnt see the computer or my phone., A female Doctor checked my eyes then dilated them. 20 mins later I couldnt see anything. I was like blind. And some man who works there picked out Tiffany glasses. I didnt know until I picked them up 2 weeks later. I paid over 300$ for these glasses with good insurance ..Every time I worn them I had a headache. I called and SHE said I will get used to them. They were for reading and my eyes need to get use to them. 6 months later I still couldnt see anything. Fast forward to Jan 2016 . I started working at a eye specialist in Doylestown, And I had a check up from on of the doctors because I cant read with my glasses and I was get headaches .I took my Tiffany glasses and read them on a machine to read the prescription and they were +25 for distance. Nothing for reading what so ever. So Hendricks gypped me over 300$ for glasses I cant even wear. And I can go to the $1 and get glasses I can read with.... And to top this all when my employer checked my eyes I have narrow angles this is really bad!! And Hendricks never saw this and dilated my eyes for years and I could have gone blind!! I had to get a lasers done called LPI... God works in mysterious ways. If I didnt start working for this doctor office in Doylestown, Hendricks could have me gone blind. Sorry my VA is way to important to me. So do your self a favor dont go here no more!!! Unless you want to go blind... I called and talked to the Female doctor ( I think she is a doctor) she didnt care, she never said sorry. Even about my glasses. She couldnt tell me why there was a tiny tiny prescription in my Tiffany glasses and nothing for near... This place is shady and I would never tell my worst Enemies to go to her!! Beware.

Absolutely the LAST PLACE you should go. From shoddy business practices - like quoting one price, then charging another when picking your purchase up, to selling products of questionable quantity - the store is to be avoided.Staff is rude, inattentive, and incompetent. Wait times are horrendous, product selection is tacky and of questionable origin - supposedly Cartier sunglasses had corroded hinges after 4 months of wear. Good luck if you have a problem - the store does not stand behind the products they sell and will attempt to nickel and dime you every step of the way. Not to mention charging you for premium lenses, but giving you cheaper lenses thinking you wont notice.Buyer be ware... and stay away from them.
